Re: TWW Tuesday 3/26

  • Good morning, ladies!

    Month/Cycle: 8/7(second cycle AL)

    CD/DPO: 32/12

    Timing: 🌟

    Typical LP length: 11-14 days

Testing: 🐔🐔🐔Just couldn't do it. Maybe if spotting stays away another day?

R/R: I am already giving the "It is NOT summer. Yes you still have to pay attention in class, study and do your schoolwork!" speech. 🤦‍♀️ My rave is I made a really yummy chicken and pasta dish last night AND I have plenty left over so I don't have to cook either tonight or tomorrow night. :)

CS/Q: So my bbt didn't go up like I was hoping but it didn't go down either. I'll take it.

  • @ruby696 I'm sorry, that sucks about the UTI/possible infection. And for your timing with the IUI. Still interesting that the clinic would schedule it so early. Hopefully you get your temp rise tomorrow! // No to the call, he just wants us to come back in a month and he'll go through the results with us. They do the SA in house so would have results this week, but the DNA fragmentation test they send out. Not sure how long that takes.

  • @kiki047 Ahhh..that makes sense. Well, I hope the results are good!
  • @emeraldduchess Your chart is lovely! FX so hard that AF stays away! Yay to not having to cook for 2 nights. I love chicken and pasta!

@kiki047 Sorry about the spotting and that you didn’t sleep well. Hope the SA results come back good!

@ruby696 Ugh sorry about the UTI, those are the worst! Please do get checked out just in case.. better to be safe! Do you usually have a slow temp rise after O?

    Timing: Great

    Typical LP length: 11-13 days

    Testing: Maybe April 1

  • @emeraldduchess oh man, it's pretty early for the kids to already be acting like it's time for summer! Good luck with that! What kind of sauce on the pasta? That sounds so good right now...

@kiki047 makes sense about the temp spike. I'm sorry for impending AF :/

@ruby696 ugh wtf body. I'm sorry, that sounds so painful! I haven't done a ton of research on IUIs but is there any way it could've caused the initial UTI?

@misshelen86 ooo any chick flicks in mind? I think I'm going to have the house to myself tonight too and need something to watch while I clean the kitchen (seriously, how is it always full of dishes?!?)

    Month/Cycle: 17/18

    CD/DPO: 20/7ish

Timing: great? If FF is right, -2. -1. O.

    Typical LP length: 14-15

Testing: probably just WFAF - 4/3 - and then would be within the 48 hour window to cancel my RE appt if I don't need it on the 5th (wishful thinking)

R/R: having another grumpy day. I checked on my squirrel friend this morning and I think we all know the outcome of the poor thing's electrocution. Then the cats spilled our flowers so there was water all over EVERYTHING on the counter and I'm convinced DH left the house this morning even though he saw it. One of the cats threw up and then that same cat pushed my reusable keurig cup onto the floor so coffee grounds flew everywhere - anyone want a cat? Rave - struggling again with this today...I made it to the gym this morning even though I didn't sleep again. Anyone else a TWW insomniac? I'm excited for the 2nd cup of coffee I brewed for today already - the first one is full caf, second is 1/2 decaf. I can't keep going to the Starbucks in my building.

    CS/Q: nope.
  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

     CD/DPO: 27/13

     Timing: meh

     Typical LP length: 12-14 days

Testing: WFAF. Trying to use my brain power to will AF to come.

R/R: I'm putting my rave/rant in a spoiler because I'm sure you're sick of hearing it. To sum it up, I feel like crap and feel worse today than yesterday.
Rave- DH has been really patient and understanding through all of this.

Rant- I was hoping by getting antibiotics started that I would start feel a little better. Haha...Nope! Minus my eyes, nose, and hair, everything on the left side of my head hurts. I think because I laid down on a warm rice bag to try to reach my ear and sinus I did something to my jaw. Both my upper and lower teeth are killing me this morning and its painful to open my mouth. The left side of my brain throbs whenever I stand up. I can't imagine myself if I had this on both sides of my face.

     CS/Q: nothing today
  • @emeraldduchess - hooray for lots of leftovers! I love when that happens.

@kiki047- I hope you get some sleep tonight!

@ruby696- oh that sounds miserable! I hope it's not a kidney infection and that your doctor can give you some answers.

@misshelen86- enjoy your night in alone! I can't believe we are getting in to April testing for some ladies.
  • @misshelen86 I usually have a 1-2 day delay in temp rise. I also just realized I could have had higher temps a few days ago because of the UTI and so who knows what's actually going on. Enjoy your night to yourself! MH will be out tonight too. I plan to be in sweats on the couch.🙂

@b_1029 I wondered that too, but I think it's more likely the result of all the HIO after being benched for three months... Also, cats. Good thing we love them.

@spacemountaineer Oh my gosh, that sounds horrible! I hope you're able to stay home today and avoid the world. Hugs.  <3
  • @kiki047 yikes, a month to get those results?  I hope it goes by quickly!
@ruby696 ouch to the UTI.  Hope you can get rid of that quickly! My temps usually take a few days to go way down after AF starts, so I am not putting too much hope in the pretty chart.
@misshelen86 enjoy having the house to yourself!  Do you have a chick flick in mind?  Sophia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" is what I always put on when I need a chick flick.
@spacemountaineer I'm sorry you are in so much pain. :( All the hugs to you.
@b_1029 the pasta has a very light alfredo sauce.  I got the recipe from Gimme Some Oven (food blog).  It's made with olive oil and lowfat milk instead of butter and cream.  It's delish!  Except there are 4 cloves of garlic so be prepared for your house to smell like that for a few days!

  • @misshelen86 mmm, LMAO I definitely read that as "I'm thinking chick-fil-a sounds like a good idea" and I was about to agree that fried chicken is always a good idea. Bahaha. // This is actually just a repeat SA so FX it is either the same or better than before. We know he has slightly low count (19mil) already. It's the DNA fragmentation test we're worried about.
@b_1029 aww, condolences on your squirrel friend. And for your bad kitties. My (wood) dining room table was never the same after one knocked over a vase and water was dripping all over the table, chairs and floor all night. Glad you made it to the gym though, you'll thank yourself later. Do you guys like Big Macs? I just pinned this "recipe" for a Chopped Big Mac Salad that sounds pretty good for a low carb meal idea.
@spacemountaineer thanks, I hope so too. I was feeling pretty energetic this morning but I'm fading. Sorry to hear you're feeling even worse today. Hopefully your antibiotics kick in soon and clear that right up for you. Ouch!

  • @spacepiraterunner so sorry to hear you're still feeling bad :(

@ruby696 ahhhh that makes sense. And yes, the cat is VERY lucky I love her...I was about to murder her this morning

    @emeraldduchess yum! that sounds amazing,

@kiki047 I've only ever had a bite of a big mac but that recipe looks awesome. We'll have to try it!
  • @b_1029 WAIT, WHAT? What do you eat at McD's then? lol I say this like I love Big Macs but I'm partial to Filet-o-Fish myself, but I've still eaten my share of Big Macs in my day. I think what entices me about that is just the sauce (they use Thousand Island dressing but our supermarket sells actual Big Mac dressing in its full fat glory, I don't shy away from fats) and the pickles. I love pickles. MF hates them. He orders extra on the side for me when we go for burgers lol.

  • @kiki047 I didn't know there was anything on the menu besides a quarter pounder w/ cheese  :D DH and I always get QPCs (as we've named them) on road trips. They changed something in the seasoning semi recently and they are so.good. Sadly DH and I both love pickles so we're forever fighting over them! How nice of YF to cater to you :)
  • @B_1029 iiinteresting. I might have to check that out sometime. I think I didn't like them before because they don't have lettuce on them. But I can make an exception if you say it's good. Now I'm craving burgers. Might have to Uber Eats me some McDonald's tomorrow for lunch if AF shows her ugly face.

  • ***lurking***
@ruby696 my charts with IUI were ALWAYS a hot mess and my temps never lined up with O. My unmedicated/non treatment cycles looked normal. I gave up on charting during treatment cycles. Just because the chart is a hot mess does not mean it won't be successful. GL this cycle.

  • @wabash15 Thank you so much for that. I feel like I ovulated, so I guess I'll just let it go and see what happens.
  • @ruby696 - I got a little bit of rest but unfortunately still had things that had to get done. How are feeling?

    @emeraldduchess , @kiki047 , & b_1029 - thank you!
  • @spacemountaineer Much better - finally! Thanks for asking!
