Re: WTO Thursday 3/21
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: metformin, tempdrop, opk, ubiquinol, vit c,d,e, pnv, inositol, low carb
R/R: it’s raining on the first day of spring, so it’s clearly going to be a great day. I keep thinking this week is taking forever, but then realize it’s alreasy Thursday, so I guess it’s going faster than it seems.
CS/Q: nope
Month/cycle: 9/11
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: haven't decided yet, for this cycle. But probably something.
R/R: hi WTO! Wanted to give my update that AF showed up late last night. I might take a couple days off to deal with AF and all her sucky emotions. At least I finally got a good night's sleep last night, hoping to keep that up.
CS/Q: Nah.
CD:2
WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, PNV, Ubiquinol, Keto Diet
R/R: AF is in town and is making me feel like crap. I joined a gym this week and looking forward to getting back into working on. I feel like it's the piece of the health puzzle I have been missing.
CS/Q: Nada
@jennifer_louise So sorry about CD1, friend!
@kerco925 Sorry AF is being a jerk! That's wonderful about joining the gym!
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD:
WAYDTGKU: Metformin (for PCOS), Armour Thyroid (for Hashimoto's), PNVs, Vitamins B Complex, C, D, Kelp, Calcium, OPKs, Temping, FighterDiet, RLT, Black Cohosh, Vitex... Taking suggestions?
R/R: Trying to prepare for our long weekend with family. We are only a 45 minute drive away but will be staying at a hotel Saturday-Monday and will have to drive back up north on Tuesday. My mom is watching our pup so I'm going to be sad because I always miss that fuzzy face when we are away from each other! But it should be fun, we have a busy handful of days for them to get the full "Pittsburgh Experience". I may or may not up my yinzer dialect that I've been suppressing LOL.
CS/Q: Nah! I haven't been as consistent with temping this cycle! Will start OPKs today or tomorrow
Diagnosed with PCOS & Hashimoto's
@jennifer_louise Welcome! I hope some time off helps you feel better. We'll be around when you come back. 😉
@kbrown2385 Its raining in the Bay Area too, and over it. Bring on the mild spring weather!
Month/Cycle: 18/10ish
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: Ava, FF, CM, OPK's, maca, Ubiquinol, 4mg FA, baby aspirin, Clomid, IUI#1.
R/R: I finally made myself go to the gym yesterday and it felt so good. I feel like I'm getting back on track now.
CS/Q: Nope
@jennifer_louise - Ugh, I'm sorry AF showed. But I'm always happy to be in the same thread as you! I understand trying to add one more thing into WAYDTGKU every month. But this month for me is to do nothing
@kerco925 - Working out makes me feel better over all about my health. Even if I ate all the junk food that day.
@brookert615 - Have fun in Pittsburg! What all are you planning on doing and seeing?
@ruby696 - Look at you, getting back on that workout train. Good job, and keep it up!
AFM, I haven't had a good restful night in awhile because DH has been dealing with illness and depression. But we had a really good chat last night (late again...), and this morning as we were walking into work, he looked over at me and said, "This. This is what makes me happy: my family." I think he's shaking this mood!
I haven't worked out since Monday, because I've been trying to be there for DH. But I'm going to try to stretch out these muscles and get to work tonight.
@kbrown2385 Happy spring! Happy Thursday!
@jennifer_louise Sorry about CD1 & AF always being a beach--but yay for good nights of sleep!
@kerco925 I'm proud of you for joining a gym! I always wish I could get the courage to go to one/sign up at least for like one class (prolli yoga) instead of trying to curate a home practice/motivate myself otherwise.
@brookert615 My NJ "accent" returns when I'm around women from NJ who talk really fast--suddenly, I am one of them again. ::hides:: The pups will be so glad to see you when you're back!
@ruby696 Yay for getting/feeling back on track!
@marebear15 I'm glad you & YH have each other & are there for each other & also that you're able to feel like you can get some work done tonight.
AFM: Month/Cycle: 6/5/2AL
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: PNV, FF, BBT, OPK, RLT, maca, Ubiquinol,
R/R: I am a weird person who doesn't love carbs but of course the day I bake (delicious, A+, what I'd normally consider semi-healthy) banana bread is the day I read about carbs & fertility in ISWTE & now of course I can't stop eating banana bread/gravitating towards all the carby places in my diet also I'm making a cake for DH's birthday-- / AF is mostly out the window, so I could start temping again today!
CS/Q: nothing to see
@jennifer_louise Sorry for CD 1. Do whatever you need to do to work through those emotions
@kerco925 Yay for joining the gym! You got this!
@brookert615 Hope you have an amazing weekend with your family!
@ruby696 Glad you made it to the gym! What kind of workout did you do?
@marebear15 I hope DH is starting to feel better. Sounds like a positive day so far! Hope you have a great workout!
@kagesstarshroom What did you read about carbs & fertility? Banana bread sounds amazing right now! I love it with chocolate chips!
Month/Cycle: 7/7
CD: 20
WAYDTGKU: Ava, FF, SMEPish, CM, OPK, RLT, fertility yoga
R/R: I have a dentist appointment today. I love how my teeth feel after but I hate the actual cleaning. I decided afterwards I’m going to sephora to splurge on some skin care products. I think today is O day, but I’m not feeling confident about this cycle because I only had a small amount of EWCM yesterday afternoon. FX today is a better day.
CS/Q:
TTC since 9/2018
10/19- First RE visit
2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles
7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN
9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal
11/20- Mock transfer/ERA
12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN
3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021
12/21- Baby girl born!
@kbrown2385 Pittsburgh is fun, there's just so much to do. I wish they were here longer so we could go visit some of the nature-y places! I actually take kelp because it was suggested years ago in one of my FD challenges but it helps Iodine levels and apparently does help with fertility so win-win lol. I read something on Black Cohosh with PCOS a while back and just started taking it this month but apparently it helps with ovulation, egg health, implantation but should only be taken in the first part of your cycle.
@marebear15 Thank you!!! We are going to go to the Strip District which is super fun - a lot of cool shops and a seafood market! Then do a winery tour/tasting, bowling somewhere, doing the riverwalk where you can see the stadiums, the point, Duquense Incline, hit up some breweries, and then taking them to the original Primanti's! Then I think we will take them to the Sarris chocolate factory because it's the best chocolate in the world and they do a super cute chocolate display each holiday! Also - so sorry you're dealing with not so restful nights. Hopefully YH is able to heal and bounce hack, sounds like he's on the right path! Have fun at your evening workout!!!
@kagesstarshroom LOL about your accent! Banana bread sounds so lovely!!! I have a recipe for a healthy coconut banana bread that I've been wanting to try! that's so sweet your making a cake - what is it going to be?
@misshelen86 Thank you! Enjoy the dentist! I agree about the dentist! I started requesting the water flosser and that seems to make my cleanings more fun LOL. Enjoy your Sephora trip!!!

WAYDTGKU: IUI #2, letrozole, pnv, coQ10, etc
R/R: That letrozole is making me so moody and feel like crap. I snapped at DH a few times last night over absolutely nothing but I was just on edge and my head was killing me. Luckily DH was pretty understanding. I'm feeling a little better today headache wise. I'm headed back to the library today to volunteer. Afterwards I really need to get some cleaning done around the house. It's stressing me out how cluttered it is right now.
CS/Q: nope.

@brookert615 It's amazing how good you feel after you work out. It makes me mad at myself for taking such a long break (two weeks of nothing - so lazy). And please don't suppress your yinzer dialect!
@misshelen86 I do a combo of cardio and weights/core. Yesterday I was on my lunch, so I only had time for a couple miles on the treadmill and some light weights/lunges. Enjoy your trip to Sephora!
@marebear15 I'm glad that YH seems to be coming out of it and that your family bring him joy.
@kagesstarshroom Mmmm... banana bread. Says the girl who just polished off a scone.
@littleredm Good luck getting to the clutter! I also feel that anxiety sometimes about it. I hope your library stuff evens you out a bit/makes you feel better!
@brookert615 It's a peanut butter cake, and I think I'm gonna do chocolate cream cheese icing? (I prefer a cream cheese based icing over a pure buttercream?) I am gonna try to make it when I get home today and I'm thinking about bringing it to the reading series I host and having everyone sing to him? And putting a big bright red 4-0 in the middle of it? IDK, IDK! I wouldn't be able to hide the fact I was bringing it though bc he'd be with me, so maybe I'll ask him if I should bring it so we can share it and such or if we should keep it all for ourselves? He'll eat the whole darn thing haha, which like whatever. There's always another cake down the road I can bake once it's gone.
@misshelen86 - Sephora is a lovely way to treat yourself after the torture of the dentist.
@littleredm - Sorry you are snappy, but I'm glad YH is understanding. I hope your day turns around after your library volunteer shift and cleaning!
So much conversation that I can't keep up on!

@jennifer_louise @kerco925 sorry AF is being sucky for you both!
@marebear15 it's so difficult sometimes to be supportive of our DHs. Glad he's starting to get out of his funk!
@kagesstarshroom my DH LOVES banana bread! He would be so stoked to hear this!
@misshelen86 I had a dentist appointment yesterday. Every time I'm like "I'm going to get back to actually flossing now that my teeth are squeaky clean!" And then it doesn't happen.... 😬
@littleredm sorry that letrozole is making you moody. I felt no different when I was taking it. Maybe because I'm naturally always moody? Lol

@ruby696 & @kerco925 YES to the gym! It’s so good for a healthy mind too. I also went last night & it felt great. Let’s keep it up, ladies!
@marebear15 Sorry about the poor sleep but glad YH is beginning to shake the funk.
@littleredm Sorry about the yucky side effects of the med. That’s no fun.
@brookert615 That entire visit sounds amazing! I wanna come

R/R: Saw my GP yesterday. She asked me about the Vitex & DHEA in my repertoire, asked why I started them, & took down notes on the book “It Starts With The Egg”. She is knowledgeable in so many areas; I just LOVE that she is so open-minded & always looking to learn more to help her patients.

@keikilove That's rad that yr GE took down some notes on ISWTE! I wish all drs were willing to, like, check out some of the more "pop" science books that the rest of us resort to? She kind of addresses that in the intro to the book, even.
@brookert615 want to hear something CRAZY? I may just be at sarris’ this weekend too. Oh man. Small world. Are you a big fan of Pittsburgh dad? I enjoyed your spoiler meme btw.
@kbrown2385 Get it together, Spring!
@kerco925 cd2 is kicking my butt too. I get it, af, you’re here. Now calm down!
@ruby696 good for you for getting to the gym! I can’t say that I’ve been as disciplined.
@marebear15 I’m so sorry things are so tough on you and YH lately. Just know that your being there means a whole lot to YH even if you feel like you’re not doing anything. Mh and I have been on both sides of the situation, and it is crushing on either side. I hope this morning was the light breaking through for an upward trend!
@kagesstarshroom Give me all the carbs all the time! Ha, I totally hear you on wanting something after being told it may not be the best food for me. Forbidden fruit and all that.
@misshelen86 I had a dentist appointment today too! It had been TOO long! My tongue keeps feeling how smooth all my teeth are now. AMAZING. I’m like a teenager who just got her braces off. I hope your appointment wasn’t too painful!
@littleredm sorry you’ve been feeling on edge. Hopefully crossing some items off your to do list helps you feel back on top!
@inthewoods23 I’m glad your consultation went well! Sounds like it’s a bit of a load off having your plan in place.
@keikilove Glad your gp was receptive! 🙂
AFM, decided to go ahead with bloodwork tomorrow since it’s convenient to fit in on this cd3. Still thinking we’re putting off the rest of the follow up. Anyway, I’m working on being more upbeat, which shouldn’t be too hard tomorrow at least since dh and I will be spending it together. ❤️
