  • ok I'll go first too
    • How far along? 26w4d
    • How are you feeling this week? much better this week than last week!
    • Rants/Raves? Questions? my mom is kind of driving me crazy this week! She has an opinion about EVERYTHING and tries to pass it off like she supports every decision we make about the baby while injecting her own opinion at the same time. Yesterday she was literally reading off baby names to me like it was going to make any difference at all what we name this little girl. Luckily I'm in a different state so I can just ignore her but I did tell I don't need to add any more to the mix. I'm already having a hard enough time settling on one now. lol
    • Any upcoming appointments? - just had my ob yesterday. we scheduled out the rest of my appointments until c-section day. Holy cow it just got real!
    • GTKY: What are you enjoying the most about 2nd trimester? Even though I haven't been enjoying being pregnant as much this time, it's nice to have more energy this trimester for sure!

    • How far along? 21 weeks 5 days
    • How are you feeling this week? Feeling good this week! Especially after my violent puking attack and two days in the hospital last week. Back to work and eating regular foods!
    • Rants/Raves? Questions? We got to see our little man squirming all around on Monday at our fetal echocardiogram .. all is well. We do have a complete placenta previa and it’s anterior so let’s hope that sucker moves in the next 10 weeks.
    • Any upcoming appointments? Yesterday had my OB app. Now going every 3 weeks.
    • GTKY: What are you enjoying the most about 2nd trimester? Probably finally looking pregnant.
    • Feel free to share a HDBD!!
  • @ndz2018 - I'm glad you are feeling better! fingers crossed for that placenta to move! I have 1 more visit in 4 weeks then a month of every 2 and then twice a week until the 17th c-section. It's kinda crazy how quickly that all comes up on us

  • Sorry i've been MIA! Need to get some really good work done for my large client and had to take a bump break.  it's too bad it's so quiet around here.  Maybe we should let people know they can come here after infertility?

@Griffin5413 Thanks for starting up the board this week! That's great that you could schedule all your appointments until CS.  My friend's office let her schedule all of hers right from the beginning.  My office only lets me go up to 8 weeks out (so I can get a good time with the busy OB) Apparently they don't have schedules out far enough to schedule more than 8 weeks out.  Seems odd though because if i knew i needed a CS, seems like it would be scheduled by now.

@ndz2018 wow--i'm so glad everyone is better after your crazy week last week.  That's not fun at all.  Also fingers crossed your placenta moves!
    • How far along? 22+6
    • How are you feeling this week? Horrible--I just feel like death. I think i'm not sleeping well and even though i'm in bed for 9 hours a night i'm not getting much sleep.  The Sinus pressure is such a pain--which leads to not sleeping well. It's not an infection since it's still clear but I might call my nurses to see if i should go to urgent care/clinic for something to clear this up.
    • Rants/Raves? Questions? no...just my rant above.  Rave--MH and i had a great weekend away at a spa. Oh and one breast finally grew some (MH notices before i did) now just waiting for the other one to catch up.
    • Any upcoming appointments? next week just a NP check up and 2nd glucose test.
    • GTKY: What are you enjoying the most about 2nd trimester? I love actually having a bump.  I'm larger and some days it's fun to show off the bump and not just feel fat.
    • Feel free to share a HDBD!! I'm still not really doing belly photos--i just don't love them.
    • How far along? 19w
    • How are you feeling this week? not too bad. a bit tired but thats mostly from dealing with my other kiddos
    • Rants/Raves? Questions? DD2 has been really sick this week. I hope since today is day 5 she will turn the corner... Rave: its getting warmer and its so nice to see the sunshine
    • Any upcoming appointments? anatomy scan at the end of next week.
    • GTKY: What are you enjoying the most about 2nd trimester?  being over the first trimester junk... so glad not to be nauseous all the time.
@blackhottamales hope you start feeling better soon
@ndz2018 so glad little man is doing well. move placenta move!
@Griffin5413 I definitely thought my second term pregnancy was harder than my first... I think some of that is chasing around a toddler and not being able to pamper myself the same way I did the first time.

  • @blackhottamales - hope you feel better soon! Sinus pressure is the worst especially when you can't really take much for it!

@wabash15- You're right. A big part of being so tired is definitely chasing around a toddler. I love my son so much but he has SOOOOO much energy. He literally has 1 speed and it's run. So much fun but so exhausting. lol. I was going to try to take a bath last night with some lavender epsom salts but he decided he wanted mommy to put him to bed instead of daddy(which it was daddy's night) so rather than a relaxing bath with some quite for half an hour, I got some cuddles. Still great but not quite the same.

    • How far along? 23W6d
    • How are you feeling this week? tired, had to deal with acid reflux this week which was horrible! started taking Zantac and it's getting better now
    • Rants/Raves? Questions? I'm stressing myself with swelling feet, after hearing people thoughts I hope I don't have preeclampsia and will be putting bed rest. I guess I will find out tomorrow at my appt what my blood pressure look like and what my urine test will reveal (fingers crossed)
    • Any upcoming appointments? had an appt with MFM dr today and got cleared, so today was my last appt there, which was a released and also exciting to see my baby! I have another appt with OB tomorrow
    • GTKY: What are you enjoying the most about 2nd trimester? not sure yet, because I'm sick of the acid reflux and hope I won't have to be on Zantac for too long. I will hate to be on too many medications. it's like to me you're done with one thing and another symptoms hit you! I was complaining about that at work and an older lady told me " I know it's not fun to be pregnant sometimes but trust me it's worst to be get old!" that made me laugh and I guess I should stop complaining! lol
    • Feel free to share a HDBD!! I don't see any growth of my bump from last picture so I will wait a little bit for new picture
@ndz2018 glad to hear that everything going ok and still praying for your placenta to move!
@Griffin5413 I know exactly what you mean with parents trying to redirect everything with their opinion! in my case it's both sides! so my husband and I decided to reveal the name at birth, hope they'll get the message!
  • @babydust2507 Good luck tomorrow! Try not to stress too much. My feet /  ankles were swollen the majority of 2nd tri, until really week 37-38 did it finally go away. I never had Pre-eclampsia or anything. Also battled acid reflux the whole time. 2 zantac a day and tums when needed have saved me. I hate being on meds as well, but it's worth feeling better! I also gave into sleeping propped up to avoid it while sleeping. Just keep telling yourself, it's a short time to deal with it. :)

  • @babydust2507 - hope your ob goes well today and she tells you the swelling is just normal. I was so swollen with my son through most of the 2nd & 3rd trimester and my bp was fine the whole time. I know on the days I sit too long in the office, I come home without ankles.

And I didn't have much swelling at all even though I did end up having baby early to pre-E = my symptoms were mostly very elevated BP and wonky labs. Swelling is perfectly normal with pregnancy; they just want to keep an eye on your urine tests and BP so hopefully all of that is normal. My OB says that some mild BP elevation is NORMAL in pregnancy as you get to the end; they just don't want it to get too high. And even if it is, you are in good hands and baby will be just fine

~~ Our Story in Spoiler! TW loss/child~~

August 2017 - FET transfer both embies. BFP.  Twin pregnancy confirmed by ultrasound. EDD 4/28/18

  • @babydust2507 Thinking about you and hoping all goes well today!!
  • thank you ladies very much for you support! I'll try to stop stressing, I know I said that before.... lol
My appt went well, urine test came back ok, BP was ok. the bottom number she said was great and top was slightly high, but she said it's nothing to worry about that it happens in pregnancy, and baby HB was great. she also said I can be on Zantac as long i need too, so that's good to know. Again thank you very much ladies!
@kristimh80 how are you feeling? it's almost over for you! EDD is pretty close! how exciting is that! would you share you bump here too, please?
