  Wow, that’s so obviously a positive test and pretty ignorant to post on here.  Provera is progesterone not HCG.  Next time try google and maybe read up on a medication before you take it.

  BFP! | 11.3.21 | EDD 7.14.22  | biopsy provided same effect as endometrial scratch; added supplemental progesterone and estrogen, prednisone, levothyroxine, and MTX Support to maintain pregnancy

  So the more I think about this, the more I get annoyed/concerned.  Not sure if their is negligence, ignorance or if my doctor just goes above and beyond.  Every single time I have used provera their was bloodwork and ultrasounds beforehand.  And then I was given a very specific day to call if I did not get my period.  I didn’t miss it and take a test, I called and was told to come in if I didn’t get my period in the next day.  
  
  Eta clarification obgyn was not checking for pregnancy but cause of no period.

  @holly321 your dr seems so thorough. 
  I take provera atleast every other month for almost a year now and I was never given a pregnancy test before hand, never given an ultrasound. My dr didn’t even suggest I take an at home test. 
  Because I have some common sense that clearly others lack, I always test before I begin provera for a piece of mind. 
  
  Op, if you are pregnant, congrats I guess. You have to understand that this group is for women who are trying to get pregnant which I get you said you and your husband have been trying. 
  Coming into a group of women who are trying to get pregnant, most of which haven’t seen a pregnancy test/had a successful pregnancy. So to see something you peed on, it infuriates us on a level I hope you never get too. 
  So move on to your BMB or 1st trimester because yes that is a positive test. Go to your dr. 
  In all my adult life taking provera it has never once given me a positive test.
