How is your pregnancy going so far?: So far so good. I was feeling completely nauseated and tired for a long time and coupled with two bouts of the flu, things were rough. This last week I've been feeling a lot better and I'm hoping things continue on this track from now on.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? In three weeks my husband and I are going to do a babymoon/35th birthday weekend away. It will be the first time leaving my daughter and I'm nervous about it, but also super excited to have some quality one on one time with my husband.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Pretty good, I keep going back and forth between feeling like a pro, and I've got this, and panicking because I don't remember this from last time. But, I am low-risk and my last 2 were pretty uncomplicated, so I'm just praying this one continues that way.
Where do you live?: In Maryland, in the northern-most suburb of DC
Do you work? SAHM?: I am an accountant, in a specialty called IT Audit.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? DS#1's third birthday is tomorrow, and I am trying to figure out where the time went.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Pretty good, for the most part. The first tri was rough, but it is for just about everyone. Second tri is going great, with exception of having super dry, sensitive skin. I have used all the same products for years and am pretty conscious when it comes to ingredients both in food and in beauty products, but I am getting hives somewhere on my body nearly every week lately.
Where do you live?: Oklahoma
Do you work? SAHM?: I work full time in the communications industry, and will continue working after mat leave. DH and I would love for me to stay home after babe gets here, but DH just started his own business last year and my salary is our primary source of income (and carries all of our benefits) for now.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Nothing big. Just glad to be here

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Pretty good, I miss my pre-pregnancy immune system as I'm on my second cold and had a stomach bug so far. Can't really eat too much in a day and have to limit how many meals have actual taste. Still feeling that exhaustion and am headed to bed by 8:30/9 every night.
Where do you live?: Northeast Ohio
Do you work? SAHM?: Work FT in fundraising, will be working FT and going back to school in Fall 2020.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Not too much, I just can't wait for nice weather. I'm over coats and boots.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Relatively uneventful! I had some bleeding around 5 weeks and 8 weeks but that seems to have been random and no issues in a long time. Very few pregnancy symptoms and just starting to look pregnant!
Where do you live?: Northern VA
Do you work? SAHM?: I teach high school math, mostly dual enrollment classes so college level courses to teenagers.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? We just got our home Doppler so we can listen to baby girl’s heartbeat at home! I have a 16w appt on Monday but that should be just bloodwork and heart rate check. Otherwise just counting down the days until spring break in April!!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM; DD1 = almost 5yo, DD2 almost 2.5yo
How is your pregnancy going so far?: It's not been the easiest. Had a 6 week long kidney infection that took 10 weeks of strong antibiotics to clear up, resulting in multiple yeast infections. Still on a maintenance dose of antibiotics for the rest of the pregnancy, but it interacts with my heart condition and my cardiologist isnt happy about that. Besides that, things seem good. The baby is growing on track so far which was a big concern with my heart meds, so I am happy about that.
Where do you live?: Southern Arizona. High enough in elevation that we get snow once every few years that melts by 9am, except for this year where we had 4 days of 3+ inches of snow and one day of 8 inches. But usually we have mild winters and hot monsoon-y summers. It's the best place in the world.
Do you work? SAHM?: I work full time as a computer scientist specializing in test and evaluation. I went to school to be a high school math teacher but after one year I knew I couldnt do that and keep any form of sanity, so I completely switched career fields.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Not a ton. My older daughter started T-Ball so that will be fun over the next few months. I'm on a temporary job rotation and like that there is no stress, but I'm bored. I'm used to an overload of work and challenging work, and this job is much more relaxed on workload, deadlines, and isnt very challenging. But I like the break from the stress...I got enough of that everywhere else! Sadly, I go back to my other job in June and I am dreading it. I dont get along with those bosses and was too overworked that I was burned out.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Pretry good. TW We started off with surprise twins but sadly one did not make it. However, we have 1 beautiful healthy boy growing in there. AS was yesterday and results officially came back normal. I’m feeling pretty good right now. I have an anterior placenta so am enjoying the kicks and rolls when I can get them.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? We have a couple fun weeks coming up. Today is DHs bday so we are finally getting to check out this restaurant that books up weeks in advance. Our 10 year anniversary is also this month and we are treating ourselves to a long luxery weekend away. Beyond excited!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM. DD (22mo) was an IVF baby after 5 years of IF. We were gearing up for another embryo transfer when this pregnancy showed up as a surprise.
How is your pregnancy going so far?: pretty well now that I’m in the 2nd tri! Everything is a little harder this time around, mainly from toddler exhaustion.

Do you work? SAHM?: I specialize in Ancient Greek and ancient Roman/Latin lit, history, language. I work FT with a rigid schedule (I teach classes online) but mainly remotely, from home, other than staff meetings and academic events
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? I just got a tentative book publication agreement! It’s a very boring co-authored academic volume of grammatical commentary of 1st c BC material but I’m cautiously excited (and overworked). Also looking forward to spring break the week after next.
How is your pregnancy going so far?: this is my 3rd pregnancy. I’m so emotional this time crying and worried all the time. Didn’t feel like this with my boys.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Still haven’t gotten results from the mat21 from the second time, our accountant suggested we make a Will- the thought has me so sad, I’m nauseas and headaches all the time but somehow gaining weight and my best friend won’t talk to me because I’m pregnant and she’s not. She’s been struggling for 5years but refuses to go to the Dr. It’s not fair she’s taking it out on me but I’m trying to remain supportive. Ok I’m done just needed to talk thank you mamas.

How is your pregnany going so far? It's been.... Dramatic. I have often found myself wondering what it's like for women to be pregnant without all this fear and drama. LOTS of frequent spotting. But it has decreased significantly in the second trimester. Usually still about 1 episode a week though. OB appointments every 1-3 weeks. But at least that comes with the reassurance of seeing baby each appointment! On bed rest. Which is tough. But it will all be worth it when I get to hold a healthy term baby! Also, last appointment my OB ordered maternal serum testing. Which tests for fetal genetic disorders (between week 16-20). So...now I'm stressing about results. Even though they won't draw the blood till Monday.
Where do you live: Canada. Specifically, Winnipeg. Which is known for getting colder than Mars. NASA actually named a spot on Mars after us 😂
Work: I'm a full time paramedic. We are under staffed, and I had a lot of stress with my partner (who was being negligent, stealing meds, lying among other things) and I had to report him. So there was a lot of stress and I was burning out. But now I've been off work this whole year so far (due to the pregnancy), and I'm really missing it. DH comes home with stories, so that helps. But I'm worried about being off for 2 years, and forgetting everything.....
Anything to share? Well... We are building a new house. We got to walk through for the first time yesterday. It's very exciting. However, I'm stressed out of my face about getting our current house ready to sell. There is so much work that has to get done, and I'm not allowed to do anything. I'm losing sleep over it.
Also, moving at 7.5 mo pregnant is going to be...interesting..

How is your pregnancy going so far?: It's been okay. First trimester was rough for a variety of reasons, but I'm feeling better now that I'm in the second trimester.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Not too much. Maintenance people are coming to the house today to fix our water heater, which decided to stop working overnight. Hopefully the problem won't be too expensive to fix.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Pretty good. I have really good weeks followed by a tough week where it's difficult to get out of bed. Other than that, I've had few symptoms, which I'm grateful for.

Do you work? SAHM?: I work full time in nyc. I have a long commute (about 2 hrs door to door), so that contributes to the lack of energy towards the end of the week.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Nothing major besides the pregnancy. Because I'm a FTM, I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing so I've found this group incredibly helpful.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: I’m having twins, and am generally finding this pregnancy to be tougher than my first (singleton). BUT - I’m kind of in a sweet spot at the moment where I’m past the first trimester nastiness and am not yet too huge to function.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Just anxiously awaiting my A/S. We know baby B is a boy, but baby A is still a mystery. I want to know so I can start preparing and bonding a little better!

I joke that this baby hates me bc my 1st was so easy. I’ve been sick since before POAS, and even though I’ve got a combo of meds working now, there’s still breakthrough nausea and puking. I ran out of one med and it was like MS started all over. 2nd Tri has actually seemed more tiring....Headaches almost constantly. I hate to complain bc I know how lucky I am but I feel like this group gets it. But baby looks great despite me not gaining weight lol.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share?
ready for spring. Germany is depressingly rainy and cold right now. Otherwise, my 2yo has suddenly realized he is a toddler and his energy levels and personality has really exploded in the past few weeks. As exhausting as that is, I am just loving this age.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: It's going OK - I had pretty bad nausea that has almost gone away now, but the smell of dish soap and air fresheners and candles still make me gag. I still have the damn subchronic hematoma - I guess its right between my uterus and cervix so it's just hanging out. I don't bleed too often but sometimes it's like WHOA.

Do you work? SAHM?: I am an accountant, I spent 7 years in public and it was just not for me, so now I am a property accountant (since last summer). It has been a change. I think growing up I always just assumed I would be a SAHM, I didn't realize this until the two days before I returned to work with my DD and was distraught. In the back of my mind I must have just thought it was going to work out where I could spend every living breathing day with her. But now that we have our routine (and I'm out of public), I'm happy to be at work!
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Nothing much happening. I'm excited for Spring if/when it decides to show up. It was 65 here yesterday instead of 20 so we got to go for a walk and play outside for a few hours and it was so refreshing.
Found out we are having a boy so that will be interesting - but we are so excited

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Wow. It's been a rollercoaster. I'll keep this brief but: 1. We've needed fertility help with our previous two kids, and then this happened the first month I went off BC so we were SHOCKED; 2. I got my normal nausea and losing weight in first tri so we assumed a girl BUT IT'S A BOY; 3. We had a big huge genetic scare (which apparently we were at risk with for both daughters but just were blissfully unaware) but found out as of 21 minutes ago that he is okay and not affected with SMA.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share?: I am going to get sappy AF, but holy crap this group has gotten me through a very dark time. People were supportive but not pressing, the mental health check in was a good place for me to vent, and I just am glad I joined a BMB a third time around

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Not quite as blissful as anticipated. I’ve had pretty severe MS, still throwing up at least once a day. Although I did have a stretch of 3 days without even a heave so that was a nice reprieve. I don’t feel as fatigued as the first tri but I do still have my nights of going to bed at 7.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? This pregnancy is the big ‘thing’ for me. It was a bit unexpected,I didn’t think that I was able to conceive and therefor a little lax on BC. As such, husband and I had mostly decided we were ok with not having kids. We’re also trying to get our house ready to list and I’ve been useless so a tad overwhelmed.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: In February, we got the news that our son is high risk for Down syndrome, and multiple markers in the ultrasound show signs of DS also. It was some tough news to hear, but we are handling it as best as we can, though some days are harder than others. I'm just lucky to have a village of supportive family, friends, and coworkers.
Other than that, the pregnancy is going well.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? I have just been floored lately with how big DD has gotten. It seems like just yesterday, we were bringing her home from the hospital, and now she's almost 16 months old. 2 days ago, she said 'Opa' (German for grandfather) and it just made my dad's day!

How is your pregnancy going so far?: I was pretty nauseous for a few weeks in the beginning and felt why a lot of constipation but everything leveled out around 12 weeks. I still take daily colace, and have started some left sided SI joint back pain. That’s been manageable with chiropractic and I had the same thing with my son (although not this early)!

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? I am graduating with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies in May! So now I need to decide what I want to do for a new job!! My husband is also interviewing for two new jobs right now so lots of changes ahead!

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Okay. Its been WAY tougher than my first. I'm seeing a physical therapist to hopefully help relieve some of the pain in my hip/back. Feels to early to be this uncomfortable.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? My life is choas. With a full time (plus some) job, 3 dogs, and a 13 month old I was already in chaos, but DH is doing his last clinical rotation before he graduates PT school in May and he has to take his licensing exam in a month which takes up all his time. On top of that, we're trying to get our house ready to go on the market and buy a new house before this baby gets here. I'm trying to stay involved here, but the bump app really doesn't work well on my phone so I'm limited to computer use.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Harder than the first two. I think there's a difference having a baby in your 20s vs 30s.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? Just got back from vacation in Disney World. It was a much needed break from reality.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: Pretty well I suppose. There is some concern with my small blood cells but I only have minor round ligament pain and my sciatic hurts a bit but mostly just fine. Itchy skin but thats about it. I've had a few rough days recently with my ever growing self. Things don't fit anymore and I get overwhelmed. I just wipe my tears away and put on the comfy clothes.

Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share? life is just so busy between work, the kids, pets and DH. One day my house wont look like a disaster. I also can't wait for the warmer weather to get the kids (and myself) out of the house more.
@aevan011 pregnancy can be rough, and its OK to be grateful for the baby but not like let alone love the experience.
@mia8263 I am just going to play devils advocate for a minute. I know it sucks and it hurts that your BF is not talking to you. When you struggle with IF sometimes you just can't be involved or around people who are pregnant or have kids. For your own mental health you need to have that separation. She's not "taking it out on you" but is more likely doing what she needs too for her sanity. IF affects us all in different ways but its so easy for it to make someone bitter. IF takes a huge toll on all kinds of relationships including marriages.
@agpandme it can be hard to adjust to our changing bodies. Your body is doing something amazing. WIll it ever be the same, probably not, but your life won't ever be the same after this little one gets here and it will all be for the better. Find some comfy maternity cloths, hug your bump, it will be OK.

How is your pregnancy going so far?: It's been shockingly easy. Luckily, no nausea. I've had breast pain, back pain, and some other discomforts, but I will take it all over nausea!
Where do you live?: Chicago
Do you work? SAHM?: Work full time as an attorney. Will be home with baby for 4 months then back to work and my husband will likely stay at home after that. No other sensible financial option for our family.
Anything going on in your life right now that you'd like to share?: Well, we just found out that we are having a boy. It feels so foreign for me to even write that; for some reason, every bone in my body and every pulse of my soul believed it was a girl, and I've just been operating and visualizing as if that were a given fact. So I'm currently experiencing some shock, and I'm sure it will take a little time to get used to the new concept. I "know" all the things I'm supposed to feel and I "know" all the things I will eventually feel, but the fact is that right now I just feel in disbelief.
