@christene3 Welcome! It’s normal to be scared/nervous to tell people, especially if you don’t like being the center of attention. First Trimester is a scary time! Hang in there! We’re all in the same boat
Greetings from CA! My name is Julie (29) and my husband Chris (31) and I are pregnant with our first little bean! We decided to get off BC in December and had a BFP on 3/1/19. Originally, we were going with a due date of 10/31/19 but after yesterday's ER visit and US, we are measuring 5W due 11/13/19. We are cautiously excited and have our first OB appointment 4/5/19; hoping the little bean stays put and continues to develop so we can *hopefully* hear the heartbeat at out 4/5/19 appointment.
Little Bean is the first grandchild on my side and immediate family (who live in LA which is like 8 hrs from us ) is super excited; we are a very close and transparent family so no way I could hold this in. lol On his side, little bean will be the second grandchild but they are also very excited.
We have a little furbaby who is basically treated like a human and shes been extra cuddly; we are trying to make sure we dont make her feel any less pre and post baby.
Misc: Hubs and I have been together for 6 years Married for 2.5 years I'm a Scorpio hes a Gemini
Hi everyone! My DH and I are extremely excited for our first little one! Got my BFP two weeks ago and EDD is 11/4. It is very hard not to share the big news with family and friends! We have a loving golden retriever, Charlie, who has no idea he will soon be less spoiled and no longer the center of attention. We got him a big brother bandana that he can wear soon. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Hi everyone! I'm Jennifer from CT and I am pregnant with my 3rd - LMP is putting my EDD at November 8, but if this one is like my last, they will probably come a few weeks early. My husband and I have been married for 11 1/2 years and we have two girls (6 and 2). I'm insanely nervous this time around, to say the least, but I know I'll eventually find my groove. I made some of my best mom friends from the Bump boards, so I'm excited to get to know everyone.
kopp5988 I was wondering why put pictures in spoilers? Is to make the page load faster without a bunch of pictures?
@christene3 It's not weird, whatever your reasons are. I was afraid to tell anyone in case something happened, but also I just wanted some special time that only DH and I knew before we told anyone else. It does sound like this will be a big deal in your family, first for you and first grandchild for both of your parents! Sending you some virtual hugs for all the nerves and feelings!
Hi!!! I'm new here and also due Nov 5!!! This will be our first.. I am a police officer and husband is a teacher. I am soooo nervous about a loss at this point but enjoy every day so far! We also experienced a loss but just 2 months ago. Nice to meet you and hope to talk soon. I'm going to introduce myself to the main thread now. Cheers!!! Heidi
@geshem yes I think that’s the reasoning. I’m not 100% sure, I just saw that a lot over on the TTC board. I think it’s also that it keeps the thread from becoming too many pages long if there are a ton of picture taking up space, but with the spoiler they don’t.
Hi ladies! I'm Chloe and my EDD is Nov 14, 2019. I moved to the US from S.Korea last year with my husband(I'm Korean, he's American). We've been married for 3 years and this is our first pregnancy. Super excited but also nervous since my parents and friends are all in Korea. Happy to meet y'all!
Hi everyone! My fertility doctor confirmed my EDD of 11/13 and DH and I are super excited! We've been TTC for nearly 3 years (since we got married on 6/10/16). I found out I had PCOS 6 months into the process and began fertility treatments shortly thereafter. Clomid, 3 rounds of IUI, a completely failed IVF egg retrieval, 2 failed IVF FETs later and we finally got our BFP following 2 embryo transfers on 2/25/19. We live in Illinois and this is our very first baby. We are super excited to add a human baby to our family of fur babies.
Hi everyone!! I'm Heidi and my EDD is Nov 5. My first appt with a mat Dr is March 19 and I can't count down these days fast enough! I have had 2 losses in the past and this is our first. I am a police officer so had to share the news early to get off the road and be careful.... I'm so fearful of another loss but taking one day at a time. Thanks for reading!! Heidi
Hi Everyone! Congrats to all and wishing you all a H&H 9 months☺️
My EDD is November 24! I’m super excited. I have two boys that are 5 and 6. With my first two I was high risk and with my OB’s blessing we decided to try one more time. I have a good chance (although I hope not) of becoming an October mom but I figured I would stick around here because it makes more sense for now. I can’t wait to get to know you all on this crazy exciting journey. I actually met my very best friend of 7+ years on here during my first pregnancy ☺️

Hi just confirmed pregnancy with my beta yesterday of 126, ill return for a 2nd on Monday. I have one toddler E who will be two in June. DH and I had to go through IVF to get her and this LO. This one was our 4th round all together. We have two frosty embabies if necessary but we are done at two. We had a 5DT on 3/5 which puts our EDD at 11/21
Hi... slightly crunchy mama here. This will be our 2nd baby and likely our last as my husband is nearing 50 and doesnt want to be too much of a grandpa daddy.
Hoping for an easy pregnancy as i really HATE/FEAR throwing up. Managed my last with only nausea and a few dry heaves.
Baby #1 July 2015 (Clomid to get preg) Baby #2 due Nov 2019 (Letrazole to get preg) PCOS mama will be 36 when #2 is born
This is the first time i do this. I'm about 4 weeks pregnant after having a miscarriage. I'm a little scared in the back of my mind the thought of it happening again scares me. I have a 2 year old boy, and 3 fur babies. We are all excited about having a new little bundle of joy. I'm hoping that with this pregnancy I'm a little more active.
Based of my last period, I'm due 11/7, but my estimated ovulation date puts it closer to 11/11. We'll see what the OB says when we go in on 03/27 for our first appointment. This is our first baby and I've been literally counting down the days to the first appointment because it just doesnt seem real. It only took us two months and my bbt chart was so wonky that I thought we were completely out!
Hello! This will be my third baby, with a large gap from my youngest (hence the username!). I have two girls, 16 & 17 years old and I'll be 41 next month. I'm a little nervous being this age and pregnant. My husband and I have been married for 19 years this summer. He's a CPA/consultant and I am a third grade teacher. My EDD is Nov. 17 right now, but we will see if it changes at my first appt. on April 8. Now that the news is starting to sink in we are pretty excited! My youngest has always wanted a younger sibling--my oldest is going off to college next year and she gave us the 3rd degree when we told her! lol
Looking forward to getting to know everyone on this journey! I still am in contact on Facebook with my AOL Dec. '02 group from 16 years ago!
Hi everyone! Am Nguseer from Nigeria, am 31 yrs old, this is my second pregnancy first one ended with a miscarriage in october, my Edd is 11/12 . Excited and grateful for this journey and so happy to be here
Hi ladies. My EDD is November 21. I have one son who will be 6 this month. We have 2 dogs daisy and Oliver. I’m just really excited to be apart of this group. I hope everyone has happy and health pregnancy.
@gapmom2019 my mom had a 17 & 18 year old when she had me. my other sister is 4.5 years older than me. We were definitely brought up differently, but it was nice to have my oldest sister as a second mom.
I'm thrilled to jump in here! I am a 40 year old FTM; we have been married 16 years and tried for years on our own but finally got answers from a fertility doctor on why it wasn't happening. IVF was our only option so we transferred two on Feb 18 and got a positive shortly thereafter! I am still in disbelief and waiting on the other shoe to drop.
Due date is Nov 6; we saw a heartbeat (just 1) last week at 6 weeks and I have an appt tomorrow with a potential OB/midwife group and am excited/scared to have another ultrasound.
We live in sunny FL near the beach with our 3 senior dogs.
Hello! The is baby #4! According to my LMP my due date is 11/4, though my other 3 babies came in the 38th week so I expect an October baby. I have a DS who turns 7 in 2 days, DD who is 4.5 and our diva and another DS who is 18 months and has no idea what he's in for lol. We are super excited to add baby #4 and for sure this is our last one....though we also said that 18 months ago haha.

@bluejeanbaby1217 I keep saying this is our last and then we decide to have 1 more. This baby is suppose to be our last but I'm not sure this baby is going to complete my family. We will see.
@gapmom2019 my mom had me and my older sister...21 years apart! And i have 2 younger sisters. I always say she must be the most fertile woman of all time lol.
Hi All! We are adding #4- EDD November 22. Kiddos will be almost 8, 6, and 18 months when this one comes. They say 4 kids is less stressful than 3, so I'm excited to find out if that's actually true! I'm a part-time literacy facilitator in TX- excited to get to know you all. I was active in May18- a group of us moved to facebook (at a reasonable 3rd trimester time I might add) and they've continued to be a fantastic support. Looking forward to the same here!
Hi there. Popping in to introduce myself. Currently 4w2d. We have one living son - the light of my life! - and had two loses before him due to a physical obstruction in my uterus, which was surgically corrected. I noticed at least two other Jan 2017 mamas on here. ::waves:: I’m not sure how much I’ll be on here; I forgot how awful and clunky this app is, but looking forward to meeting you all.
ETA: this was not even my username back when I was in J17. I only noticed it after this posted. So, kudos to TB for that...? 🙄🙄
This is baby #2 for my husband and I--baby girl turned two last December. We are so excited and my EDD is 11/24. MH is 30 and I'm 29. We have two sweet (mostly, except the barking omg drives me up the wall!) dogs, Toby and Madison and one cat, Rodney. Mostly we spend our weekends hanging out at parks and taking hikes around where we live now. Also really trying to get into gardening and try to overcome this black thumb I apparently have. All I want to do is grow some %%&# basil! Ugh, Anyway...lol
Would love to try a natural birth this time around, but would need to look for a new provider since I had a C section last time and my last OB wouldn't let you. Still processing some things that happened during my first birth to be honest. A lot to think about....
Long story short I'm glad to be here and get to know you all! Work is depressing and all my friends live so far from me (currently, but desperately trying to change that and move back. Don't like the weather where we live at ALL.) so hoping this group will save my sanity lol
Also @ducklingsstorm Seriously so with you on the nausea thing. I am terrified of throwing up and it's going to be even worse at work. I'm getting anxiety thinking about it. I also self-identify as a slightly crunchy mama
@peanut0102-2 I agree with the app part. It totally needs to be revamped. It’s hard to keep up with things. My last bump group moved to Facebook and it’s so much better. I’m sorry about your losses 🙏🏼
Hi all! EDD is 11/14 according to lmp- first u/s is 3/27. History of ectopics but everything is good so far! OB wanted me to come in this week for one but I’m out of town for work so couldn’t swing it. Nervous for next week but otherwise feeling alright. I’m 31, hubs is 35 and we are excited!
Hi fellow mommies to be! My EDD is 11/12 and this is my first. Me and the hubs were very excited that it happened for us almost right away since I just turned 37 & he is 38. We live in NY but are moving across the river to Jersey this summer!
Hi mommas! I’m pregnant with a little baby girl who will be #4 and complete our family. She’s officially due on Nov 26! I have a DD who is almost 16, DS who is 11, and DS who is 13 months. These last 2 pregnancies are results of IVF and frozen embryo transfers. This little one is a super miracle to me and DH because they only gave me a 35% chance of success due to quality (PGS normal). I’m praying this pregnancy is a bit easier on me and I’m able to savor every bit of it knowing it’s my last time to experience all that is to come.
@Kurtni Hi friend I’m posting back on my “real” name that I used in J17 (this one, Lonestar) which is probably more recognizable to you. No idea what happened with the switch up with that lol
Hi everyone! I'm from Canada, and pregnant with my 3rd. We have 2 1/2 year old twins who took 2 years of actively TTC and clomid (unexplained Infertility) to conceive. I was active on another community board site during that time. My EDD is Nov. 23rd and this little one was after about 5 months of NTNP. We had decided to "see what happened" and we are now excited for this next adventure! Looking forward to getting to know everyone here:)
Hey ladies! Just got my BFP yesterday, confirmed with another today! Woohoo! I’m still taking this in, but I’m so excited to join! My EDD based off of my chart is November 28, but I need to schedule with my doctor to have my first appointment! I’m 31, MH is 34. I teach 3rd grade and he runs a tutoring center at the local university. I’m also a grad school student. Yikes! I love exercise (I lost 160 pounds to start TTC), and anything involving fitness. This will be our first baby. I’m so excited that I’m just bursting with joy!
