Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Friday 3/8

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

Re: WTO Friday 3/8

  • Month/Cycle: 4

    CD: 20

WAYDTGKU: Benched...OvuSense Temping, fertiliTEA, opks, PNV”, Maca, supplement for DH,

R/R: just waiting on O. Temp was higher this morning so I Think I’m just waiting on verification now. Rant: It’s my day off and I’ve woken up at freaking 5am. Boooo.

    CS/Q: eh. Ugly chart
  • Loading the player...
  • @madcouplewithabox  boo to waking up early! Take a nap later!

@emeraldduchess  I love that gif lol. I feel you on the husband not feeling good about HIO. MH actually looked at me last night and was like “ok, I need a break”

@jennifer_louise  glad you’re finally getting some sunshine! Come on, spring!

    Month/Cycle: 2

    CD: 22

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, sex EOD, prenatal, supplements

R/R: I just read my teaching evaluation for my second observation... should have saved that I guess. Lol.

CS/Q: I’m fairly certain I will O today. Temp went up, peak OPK. we will see.
  • @ejoseph16 my DH's reaction after I confirm O is always "Oh thank God. I we need a break." FX for O today!
@jennifer_louise hooray for healthy eating AND snow melting!  High five on your timing, too!
  • @ejoseph16 see you over in TWW!!

@emeraldduchess thanks, friend. It's not as awesome as our HIO champs (side eyes at @marebear15 and @begging4abump) but still admirable. I must have missed your comment about cooking with fifth graders yesterday - lol. I'm sure your daily R/R could be weird/crazy things that fifth graders do.
  • @jennifer_louise I could write an entire book about weird things my students do and say!
  • @madcouplewithabox I guess I should be thankful my body has no internal alarm so if I don't set one I'll just sleep forever lol. Sorry your day off started so early - hopefully that means it'll be a productive one?
@emeraldduchess yessss, loving the GIFs lol. Laughing and cringing at your cooking/flour story. I feel like I'm going to be that super controlling OCD mom who won't let their kids "help" in the kitchen cuz I can't stand messes, haha. // Sorry your colds are getting in the way of your SMEPpin. If it makes you feel any better, we're failing too, and have no real excuse for it. I tell myself I'm going with the flow, but let's be honest, I have zero chill. I cried about it the other night lol.
@jennifer_louise Yay sunshine! Yay salad! ... well, yay for healthy choices, bleh salad   Gold star for your timing this cycle! I try not to compare myself to @marebear15 or @begging4abump because MF would die before we ever completed a streak like that. Last month was pretty good for us and I was kinda starting to believe maybe he was just really getting into the sexytimes and it would re-kindle our romance but after O, nada. lol so there goes that theory. I am happy I didn't have to try too hard during my FW though.
@ejoseph16 FX for O! Your timing is great, you've covered all your bases.

    Month/Cycle: 15/12

    CD: 10

WAYDTGKU:  PNVs, BBT/RHR, CM, Vit C & D, Vit B12, Omega 3s, CoQ10, Metformin, Ovasitol, PCOS/low carb diet, no caffeine, HIO, softcups, letrozole + TI

R/R: Rant: I think I might O super early this cycle. I'm used to CD20, but it's looking like CD11 or 12 now.
Rave: It's Friday! And it's sunny and supposed to go above the freezing mark this weekend. And MF has started maintenance on his diet so that means he gets to start re-introducing a little bit of fat back into his diet in the form of a tbsp of butter or oil, or 1/2 an avocado. We've been cooking with NO oil for the last 7 weeks and let me tell you, it's harder than it seems (and SO BORING). I never thought I'd be so happy to be able to make a salad dressing with a bit of oil, or to saute or roast something with the potential for it to actually maybe get a little crispy! Using water or chicken stock results in everything being kinda poached or boiled and BLEHHHH. He's doing soooo great though, he's down 35.5lbs in 7 weeks. I cannot friggin wait til this is over lol.

CS/Q: Got my slight rise and then subsequent drop, so O is imminent based on previous patterns.

  • @madcouplewithabox I hate when I wake up early on my days off!

@emeraldduchess you must have so much patience with your job. And just,  why? 5th graders are so weird.

@jennifer_louise I want sunshine! But instead we are getting another winter storm

@ejoseph16 was it a good evaluation or one you'd rather not read at all?

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 17

WAYDTGKU: just the basics - pnv, opk, sex

R/R: It's my day off! And after initially getting up at 6:30, I went back to bed around 8. It's now 9:30 and I'm still in bed. We also actually have plans tonight which rarely happens! Now if only the impending snow storm could turn to a heat wave, it might be the perfect weekend.

CS/Q: nothing to see. Still waiting for my peak, but I've had fertile CM.
Me: 31 DH: 34  Married: April 2016
    TTC December 2016
    BFP 2/28/17 // CP 3/1/17
    MFI Diagnosis: Aug 2017
    BFP 11/1/17 // DS born 6/18
    TTC January 2019
    BFP 3/21/19 // D&C (MMC) 5/8/19
  • Month/Cycle: Unofficially 1

    CD: 22 (Explained below)

WAYDTGKU: Raspberry tea, spearmint tea, PCOS diet, exercise, temping

R/R: I realized on Tuesday, when my temp shot up, that my period last week was not indeed my period, but breakthrough bleeding from removing my IUD. I current have no idea if I've ovulated, or if I did and will be strtings my period any time soon. So I'm just going to make myself cozy until things even out. I've heard spearmint tea is also another possible aide in regulating cycles, so I might enjoy both until things get figured out.

    CS/Q: Nada
  • @millpe definitely one I’d rather not read. Long story short: my evaluation was rescheduled 3 times because of snow days and 2 hour delays, so the lesson wasnt what it was supposed to be. I got marked down to developing for a parent that has complained multiple times because her daughter doesn’t turn in homework (not sure how that’s my problem). I need to “be more proactive in communication with difficult parents”. It just really hit me wrong this morning and I’m extra emotional right now anyways because of TTC. So I cried it out with a teammate this morning and moved on. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s outside of my circle of control.

@misshelen86 I wasn’t sure how that worked! Thanks! Our timing has been pretty awesome this cycle, so I’m hopeful!

@jennifer_louise can’t wait! Hooray for the TWW!
