    Month/Cycle? 26/3 A/l

    WTO/TWW? TWW

    Ages of other child(ren)? 6 and 7

Any thoughts about this cycle? I am frustrated that I o’ed early, so cd2 will be the day of my annual obgyn appointment, otherwise, too early for thoughts

    Any questions? No

Rant/Rave/Brag: ds is finally started to eat more and more foods (asd related food aversions) so we are stopping his meal replacement shake this week (he has it 2-3 times a day).  Dd is becoming more and more social and brave each day.  She hates dhs best friend over something ridiculous (he accidentally ate her fries and she holds a grudge!). Well he was over the other night and she talked his head off and kept taking Snapchat pictures of him.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?  It depends.  If it is dh’s high school friends, we get the local pizza place because they all love it.  Otherwise, I usually make things that I know will easily be a lot of food like Alfredo or lasagna.
  • @flinstone-2 right around the time I O, I often have one day of horrible pressure that makes sex ridiculously uncomfortable.
I hope you get a break soon.
  • @flinstone-2 I'm jealous of your SAHM friends. I have none and I'm starting to go stir crazy!

@kimmer1412 pizza is my favorite. I could eat pizza everyday.

What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? 5/5

WTO/TWW? TWW. Just waiting for AF.

Ages of other child(ren)? 16 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? Tested this morning on 13dpo and BFN so waiting for AF to arrive. Really hoping it starts today or tomorrow. This cycle felt like a lifetime.

    Any questions?

Rant/Rave/Brag: rant- It really drives me crazy that when DS goes to bed late he wakes up extra early. Last night he went to bed at nearly 9 and then started waking up at 530. Not cool!

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from? Nothing because I never have anyone over lol. In all seriousness though I would probably do mostaccioli with salad and bread.

@flinstone-2 sorry I can't help out with your Q, I haven't had pressure down there since PP sex...Although I do get dry sometimes before my FW but I guess that's a different sensation. I hope you get some answers about your O soon!

@kimmer1412 didn't get a chance to hop in this weekend and say I love your haircut! Props on your workout.

@holly321 that's awesome about your DS and DD. It sounds like you guys had an awesome weekend. I lol-ed at your DD holding a grudge over fries because my DD (only 2) already loves fries so much that I can totally see her doing that someday.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Nope

Any questions? Anybody else's kids have very strong opinions about what they want to wear? I find myself doing laundry all the time because DD only wants to wear these tutu pants. I mean, they're straight up adorable but I'd love it if it wasn't a fight every morning she can't wear those...

Rant/Rave/Brag: not much. We had a great weekend, had so much awesome quality family time. The weather sucked (hello, spring? Where are you) but we still made the most of it. Can't wait until we can hang out outside again!

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?
Like @flinstone-2 we usually do a taco bar when we have people over. I have lots of friends with dietary restrictions (celiac, no dairy, vegetarian) so it's handy that people can just avoid some ingredients if they need to.
  • @dumbledoredies have you ever used the Peanut app? I met most of my friends through my local MOPS group and then met more through the friends I had that used the Peanut app. I moved here knowing nobody so I really had to work at it!

    @jennifer_louise yay for Taco bars

holly321 well then I hope it means O is soon for me! thank you for your insight. That's great that your DS is eating more foods

@kimmer1412 awesome job on the workout!!

  • @jennifer_louise both my kids are ridiculously frustrating about what they wear (both are on the autism spectrum). Ds must wear Mickey Mouse socks, underwear shirt and pjs. Which is getting harder to accommodate as he is getting older.  Dd only wears plain clothes, solid colors with no embellishments.

@dumbledoredies my kids wake up early when they se up late too, it makes no sense, and it is hard to get out of the cycle.
  • @flinstone-2 I definitely have tenderness around o. I’ve also experienced some pain during sex to the point of limiting certain positions.

@holly321 glad you’re seeing eating improvements with ds. So cute about dd lol.

Any thoughts about this cycle? This is kind of a ntnp cycle so we’ll see if anything comes from it. My follow up RE appt is in a week or so, so I kind of want to be able to get more testing done ASAP.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave/Brag: We are seeing some improvement since starting this discipline class. It’s based off of 123 magic by Dr. Phelan. It’s really amazing the change we’ve been experiencing. Bedtime is no longer world war 3 and we have had less temper tantrums. All of his videos are on YouTube and I highly recommend.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from? It depends on who it is. A big hit is Parmesan Dijon porkchops. Everyone I’ve made it for had asked for the recipe.
  • What number are you trying for? #2

    Ages of other child(ren)? 2

Any thoughts about this cycle? Well I started brown spotting yesterday and had a temp drop- today temp is below coverline so pretty confident that AF will be here soon :(

Any questions? Not really- just want CD1 to get here so we can focus on next cycle and what I can do differently this time.

Rant/Rave/Brag: DD's birthday party went really well- everyone had a lot of fun. Really kinda bummed about not getting KU this cycle- one of my friends who was at the party surprised me by telling me she was pregnant with #2 which of course they weren't trying at all. She's freaking out that her kids will be 21 months apart but she is also 37 so if she was to have another kid it might as well be now. Was encouraging that she is older than me and was successful at having 2 healthy pregnancies now but still frustrating that now 5 of my friends are pregnant (4 of them with #2). I feel like a microscope is on me on when I will be next- no one asks but I just feel the pressure anyways.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from? I don't think you can go wrong with a good pasta dish!
  • @jennifer_louise thanks! I love it and it feels do healthy now, probably shouldn't wait a year  between cuts LOL

  • kbrown2385  that sounds like what I have. Some positions hurt! The porkchops sounds really good!

  • @flinstone-2 tacos are always a good choice! Also, even on 7.5 mg of Letrozole, I don’t ovulate until about CD19-20, too.

@dumbledoredies my DD did that over the weekend!  She went to bed at 10 and was still up at 5am. DH and I were both like “not it!” 😂

Any thoughts about this cycle?  I’ve taken the last 2 doses of Letrozole through my OB and today I’m going to a new RE so I’m excited!

    Any questions?

Rant/Rave/Brag:  DD counted to 6 this weekend! It was soooo unexpected. We were walking up stairs and said “let’s count them” and she just started doing it! Totally choked up

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?
always lasagna! With a side salad and Texas toast. My only varying factor is if I make the lasagna with mushrooms or not depending on the guest.
  • @jennifer_louise My DS is super picky about his pants. He will only wear what he considers "soft" pants. So sweatpants, track pants, etc. No jeans, khakis, cargo pants etc. I mostly give in to him, except if its a special occasion I have to force him into nice clothes.

Sorry I was MIA last week, *TW* I have been having a tough time with this post loss cycle. Hoping to be more active.

    Month/Cycle? 4/2

    WTO/TWW? WFAF

Ages of other child(ren)? 4 (im so sad I can only say this for 2 more months)

Any thoughts about this cycle? I am so OVER this cycle. AF where are you?!

    Any questions?

Rant/Rave/Brag: So my DS had a routine vision screen at Prek and he did pretty poor on it, so they referred us to an eye doctor, he was examined at the eye doc on Friday and diagnosed as farsighted, and got fitted for glasses. Part of me is sad that my baby boy needs glasses at such a young age. He's not even in kinder yet. But another part of me is happy there was such early intervention so maybe he wont struggle so much in school and if he is having trouble with his vision I certainly want to help him. And he looks so adorable in the frames he picked.

But on the rant end, saw my RE today cause my temps had me convinced I ovulated over 2 weeks ago, and still no AF and I'm not pregnant. Waiting on the bloodwork now to determine what's going on and if I will need Provera or not. I know I am impatient but I just want to get going already.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?
Hmm probably something Italian like baked ziti or lasagna, or I make a pretty good chili.

  • @flinstone-2 I sometimes get that lots of pressure/discomfort feeling, but I don't really track the timing of it.  But sometimes I just can't do certain positions.  I hope you get a break for yourself once YH comes home!

@kimmer1412 Impressed you did a workout this morning!  I can't even tell you the last time I did a formal workout.  I really need to get better about that.  Especially in the winter when I'm not outside all the time.

@holly321 LOL at the grudge for the fries!  We watched a friend's dog for him for a day recently, and DS was obsessed with him until he tried to steal his snack, and then he was all like "Go away, doggy!"

@dumbledoredies I'm sorry about your BFN.  I hope AF comes soon!

@jennifer_louise DS has this one shirt he straight out refuses to wear because it's "too big" even though it isn't too big on him anymore.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@kbrown2385 That's awesome the class is working so well so quickly!  I'll have to check out the videos!  Could always use more tools in our parenting toolkit!

@spartanrd4 Sorry about impending AF, and about having to hear about your friend's success.  Have you talked to any of your friends about your struggles?  I've found that has helped a lot, personally.  It also heads off people asking potentially triggering questions.

    Any questions?  Not really.

Rant/Rave/Brag:  DS is amazing me with how smart he is right now.  I hate to be one of *those* parents who thinks their kid is a genius, but a couple weeks ago one of the pre-school teachers told me he's better at letters and numbers than some of her 3 year-olds.  I'm so proud of him!

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?  Food is our love language, and we love to cook for people.  I don't know we necessarily have a go-to because we like to change it up.  In the summer we do a lot of meats on the smoker, and those always go over really big.  In the winter I love to do a good roast beef or roasted chicken with a bunch of sides.  We also like to do grilled pizza.

    Any questions? TW: loss
How long did it take for AF to happen after your loss?
Rant/Rave/Brag: I hate having a kid who's birthday is so close to a holiday. I'm having to book some of her birthday stuff now and it's not till July! Question: would you rather have a Saturday birthday party from 1:30p-3:30p or a Sunday birthday party from 11:30a-2p? She's going to be 3.
GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from? TACOS ALWAYS

@flinstone-2 my H is leaving tomorrow and won't be back till Sunday. Solidarity
@jennifer_louise my dd always wants to wear tutus also. Can you try getting regular tutus and she can wear them over leggings/shorts? Take off the tutu during messy times (like eating) so you don't have to clean it so often? Or for me, I ask my dd if she wants to wear a shirt or dress, and then pick 2-3 options. If she asks for anything specific (she usually wants a character shirt) and it's not available, I tell her its their bath day and these are her options. If she tantrums I tell her I'm sorry she feels that way, and she can choose form the 2-3 or I will choose for her.
@Spartanrd4 I totally understand the pressure, and I hate that.
@hanshotfirst77 totally understand the impatience, I'm over this loss cycle too.

  • @hanshotfirst77 sounds like lots of us had hard weeks last week. Don't feel guilty if you need time off - we'll always be here when you're ready to come back. As for your DS, that's about the age I was when I got glasses first too! MH has 20/20 vision and mine is terrible, so it will be interesting to see when/if DD needs glasses. I'd like to save her the hassle, but I'll be darned if kids in glasses aren't the cutest things ever.

@Spartanrd4 sounds like a great bday party! Sorry about the surprise PG announcement. Those sting so much while TTC. IKWYM about feeling the pressure too- I've found mine just keeps getting worse.

@shamrocandroll your DS sounds like he might be a little budding engineer too? So cute. I am also so impressed by how smart DD is. Everyday I'm like "where did you learn that?" and "I didn't know you knew that word." it's crazy how fast they learn at this age! Any idea when you'll get off the bench?

@dolewhipper that's a great idea! If her tutu was not attached it would be waaay easier to keep it clean. I usually only give her 2-3 options and like half the time she doesn't want any of them....toddlers. I hope AF shows up fast so you can move on too.

  • mokay19 that is good to know about your O date on letrozole. I will try and stay patient...
@dolewhipper this might be unpopular ,but I don't mind a Sunday party. I tend to dislike Sundays because they're all focused on gearing up for the week so for me it would be a nice change to the day
    @shamrocandroll grilled pizza sounds good!
hanshotfirst77 definitely amazing you got his vision squared away now. I had a cousin who was practically legally blind until he got his glasses in 2nd grade. My aunt said when he came out of the office with his glasses on he was like wow clouds! blades of grass! she felt terrible he had gone that long without actually "seeing" the world.

@dolewhipper my son's birthday is July 19 and we've done both Saturday and Sunday parties. I tend to do Saturday just because it seems most people prefer that day better but we've had good turn out on Sunday parties too. So I'd say just do what's most convenient for you

  • @jennifer_louise Maybe!  Honestly, MH was "gifted" as a child and is still one of the most naturally brilliant people I know, so as much as I'd like to take credit for DS being smart, it's probably equally if not more from MH.   I just hope we can give him an opportunity to use it because MH grew up so poor that he wasn't given opportunities and so now he's this absolutely brilliant person doing a very manual labor job, and not to be cliche, but I just want DS to be able to use his full potential because MH didn't get to.  I'm "book smart" but I had to work way harder for it than some people who are naturally gifted.  As for being benched, after AF comes in (hopefully) the next few days, we're going to take one more cycle off and then start trying again.  I'm scared and dreading it and excited all at the same time.

And definitely good that they are catching it early! Sorry too for the rough cycle :(@shamrocandroll hope AF hurries up for you. I have been wanting to try grilling pizza for years and still have never gotten around to it. Definitely on the to do list for this summer! @dolewhipper I would vote for the Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 option because it's between lunch and dinner...and after nap time. But DS is only 17 months so idk about nap times for older toddlers. If the time window was the same I wouldn't care if it was on Saturday or Sunday!
  • @dolewhipper DS (2 years, 4 months) naps right around 1:30-3ish so I would pick the earlier one, personally with the hopes he'd get tired out and nap after.

@dolewhipper *TW mention of loss TW* I just looked back at my old chart and I didn't get AF until 50 days after my D&C with my MMC so over 7 weeks- I had it on March 4th and didn't get AF until April 24th :( My loss was at 9 weeks and my hcg was pretty high so that could of had something to do with it also. I am sorry...its so hard to WFAF and wanting to move on so bad!
  • @flinstone-2 I have experienced discomfort before but I couldn’t tell you if it was during your FW or not because I don’t think I paid too much attention to it.  I feel like our lady parts are always changing that anything can trigger discomfort at any moment.

@holly321 i feel like I O’d early too, ugh! Which did not fit into our busy schedules.

@jennifer_louise I know a lot of people that go through that with their LO but luckily i do not have that problem with DS.  He pretty much waits for me to lay his clothes out every morning. Lol

@dolewhipper I would go for the Sunday party!

What number are you trying for?  2

Month/Cycle? 6/4 (AL) - and starting to really feel defeated.

WTO/TWW? I think I’m at the tail end of my FW... hoping to have another day or two to give it a whirl.

    Ages of other child? 6.5

Any thoughts about this cycle? I started off so positive and now I’m not so sure. DH was away for work Thursday and Friday and then i got some sort of stomach bug over the weekend that I’m still recovering from. We got a few BD sessions in and i tried for another this morning but DH wasn’t really feeling it. On a plus side I have more CM this cycle than the last few! So maybe I’ll have that working for me!

    Any questions?

Rant/Rave/Brag: I’m feeling frustrated because it’s not as easy for me to “try without trying” as it is for MH to. He wants a baby just as bad as i do, but he’s so concerned with not making it feel like it’s a job.  Which I appreciate so much, but at the same time there’s only one week a cycle to actually conceive so why aren’t we BDing more?!?! I know he has good intentions and his head is in the right place, I guess i wish my mind could be there too.  Instead I stress and worry about our timing.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?Chicken Milanese with arugula salad! Or Pulled Pork in the crockpot!

PS- I’m doing all this in the Airport right now, so I’m sorry I didn’t get to tag and respond to everyone... it’s hard to do it all on my phone!

    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN

  • What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? 3/2

    WTO/TWW? WTO

Ages of other child(ren)? 17 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? Not really. I’m attempting to temp, but having trouble sleeping, so it’s probably not accurate and I keep forgetting to do it. I doubt I will O. I haven’t without Clomid.

    Any questions? None

Rant/Rave/Brag: Really, just a little strange. I started Provera and AF showed up the next day. I’ve never had AF show up before I finished Provera before, so not sure what to think there.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from? If I’m cooking it’s chicken enchilada soup. If DH cooks, it’s taco soup or brisket. I usually just buy the guacamole at the store though. HEB has amazing guacamole.

  • What number are you trying for? Second THB

    Month/Cycle? 4/3

    WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child: 15 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? I’m confused about when I ovulated.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave/Brag: DS slept through the night again!!! He also woke up happy instead of crying and did the same with his nap, although it was half the length it is at daycare. I have a snow day today, so he’s home with me and it makes me so happy since tomorrow is my birthday and I have parent-teacher conferences until after 8 pm, meaning he’ll already be asleep by the time I get home at 9. I’ll only see him for half an hour in the morning, so I may need some cheering up.

GTKY: You're having a guest for dinner, what is your go-to recipe(s) that is sure to please everyone? Or where do you order-in from?

    pizza - haha

  • @dolewhipper I would also choose the Sunday party... unless I had to travel.

@hanshotfirst77 I’m sorry your kiddo needed glasses. If it helps at all, I also got glasses before K. It never really bothered me and I was always able to see at school.

@MrsJessS I love Papa Murphy’s. Also, have you tried the HEB ready bake pizzas? Some of them are surprisingly good and cheap.

  • @kpearse99 Yay for more CM. Hope your timing ends up being okay.
@MrsJessS I am keeping my fingers crossed that you don’t have to worry about next cycle!
@flinstone-2 Sorry you’re still WTO, but CD14 is still early! I know it’s hard to wait. Hope the letrazole does its job.
@holly321 It’s great that your son is making progress! If your CD2 is anything like mine, then the OB visit will not be fun. That stinks.
@kimmer1412 Yay for temps staying up!

  • @dolewhipper:  I'm betting your kiddos bday is very close to my DD's! (Also close to a very big July holiday...)  As for party day:  is church a consideration for family/friends?  I'm in the South/bible belt, so an 1130am Sunday start time would count out a lot of folks.  Although I DO like early birthday parties to try and preserve nap time!!
  • @mercury94:  I miss HEB so much!!!!  :(:(:(
  • @kpearse99 That’s kind of what I was thinking, but I don’t know. It was CD53, but PCOS, so I have no idea what my cycles would be like naturally.

@lcking82 I refuse to leave South Texas, bc I must have easy access to HEB.

  • mercury94 I've been told that if you start your period that early on provera that you were likely going to start it anyway and either had ovulated prior or had breakthrough bleeding, either way you get to start a cycle again so yay!
@NYTino24 happy birthday! I'm glad you get to spend some time with your DS
lcking82 that's true about church. I am also in the south and that is a consideration here. We go to an early service because of DS nap time now ha.
kpearse99 I love arugula salads. I know what you mean when you feel like you worry/care more about TTC than your husband. I think it's because we have a harder job of ovulating, carrying the baby, etc. When DH says no he doesn't want to BD, im always come back with look at what you have to do to have a baby versus me. You actually just have to enjoy the process. Blah.

  • @mercury94 It’s frustrating not knowing what your body or cycle is doing. I’m sorry you’re going through this, but hopefully... either way, your period has started so you can get to your FW!
