@nachellebeck13 I'm so very sorry about your loss! My heart goes out to you and your family during this time
And wow! That's amazing about your twins. Did you have any indication otherwise of more than one baby? Do they run in your family? I ask because I myself am a twin and it does run in my family (my grandmother and great-aunt are twins). My first US is this upcoming Thursday and I feel the same way as I did when I was PG with my son but you never know.

This one is going nothing like my first pregnancy. I've lost my appetite, and I'm not as sleepy. (I was constantly eating when I wasn't sleeping with my son ) We had NO indication we might have twins, as it doesn't run in our family.
I was on Letrozole when I conceived and while that does increase our multiples chance, it does so only slightly. (Like 3-7%)

Anyone else having major issues with the app? The last two days if I try to lovetit something an error message comes up. Earlier today my replies were posting multiple times. And I was just catching up on another thread and saw that a comment of mine came out of order with the rest of the comments...meaning I somehow didn’t see someone else’s comment before I responded to a previous comment of theirs (and it was a bit sensitive, I’m hoping I didn’t cause her any anguish 😕)
@melanier26 yeah the app is total trash (although I still use it). I can only lovetit when I’m on wi-fi. If I’m on my mobile network then I get an error.

@melanier26 Yeah, the ap is so clunky that it makes it hard to participate in a meaningful way when I can't get on a computer. And with a crazy toddler buzzing around me all day, I rarely catch a moment to get on the computer.
I just use mobile on my cell phone. I tried downloading the app and only lasted one day because it annoyed me with the glitches. But just going to the website on my phone works well enough. There's a few glitches still, but it's much better than the app.
@melanier26, what @galentine said. I think I tried the app for a couple days but went right back to the mobile website from my phone. Million times better.
@nachellebeck13 that is so super exciting! Congratulations on twinning!

DS was in urgent care today for an antibiotic shot today. He had just finished up a course of cefdinir for pneumonia and and ear infection, but his ear never actually finished up. This is infection #6, I think, so I'm hoping the ped recommends tubes soon. Now we're sitting in the parking lot at the zoo because naptime finally hit on our drive over. Thank goodness for pleasant weather, mobile data, and a car charger!
@steminist ear infections are the worrssstt. My son has only had 2 in his life but they were in the span of like 3 months 😞 I am sitting in the parking lot of Sea World also due to nap time.

Oh no, poor thing. Ear infections are the worst in terms of sickness.

My son had to do those shots. It was AWFUL. They are so big. And painful. And take forever.
I’m on day 4 of potty training my 2.5 year old. I’m not sure if it’s going well or not. Basically we are stuck at, she knows she has to pee, she runs around upset/crying until she can’t hold it anymore and starts to pee right next to the little toilet. I sit her on the toilet which she hates. Repeat. She was bare-butt the first 3 days and now I’m going with loose pants. I don’t see us ever leaving the house again. 😫 I’m going to try for a couple more days, but I guess I’m at the point of wondering if she’s not ready or I need to push through. Any suggestions? We are trying the OCPT method.

It really sounds like she’s not ready. Honestly, I’d put her in pull ups for a few more weeks/months until she’s truly ready.
FTR, DS1 didn’t train until 2 weeks before his 4th birthday. We tried multiple times and had the same issues as you. We finally said he’ll train when he’s ready, and he woke up one day and asked for underwear instead of a pull up. He had accidents a lot the first couple days, but then he finally got it
@cmbt2 That’s what I’m leaning towards. The biggest thing stopping me is that when she wears her pull-ups for naps, she has yelled that she has to pee and seemed scared to even go in her pull-up. That was a couple days ago though. So that’s why I thought, might as well keep going because she’s realized when she has to pee. It’s all so confusing. I think we will finish out the day and go from there.
ETA: also just realized this is the old randoms thread. Sorry guys!
