Testing: another BFN this morning, but it's still early. I know my hopes are way too high, though.
R/R: I got the tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis shot at my physical yesterday and it feels like someone punched me in the arm. Ouch. I have plans with my mom and MIL today, so that should be nice. I am really lucky that they get along so well.
R/R: I guess it is going to snow today, so if it starts this afternoon I will probably leave and finish the rest of the day from home. Not sure how this will potentially impact my interview tomorrow morning. I'm feeling a bit down about my BFN, since my LP is short I would expect to get a positive by now if I was getting one. And, I think DH and I might TTA next cycle because my FIL is turning 70 in December and he wants to throw him a big party. I guess we'll have to talk about it.
Hi @emeraldduchess! That's adorable that your mom and MIL hang out. What are you guys going to do?
@creamcheeseplease sorry about the BFN. What is with all the snow lately? I feel like this winter has been so snowy. I hope your interview goes well!
Month/cycle: 9
CD/DPO: 9dpo
Timing: meh
Typical LP length: <12
Testing: I don't think so
R/R: feeling sad, and feeling out already this cycle. I had some pretty bad cramps last night and while I'd like to SS them, it feels just like AF coming. I hope my LP holds on a couple more days though. 😢 I think I'll have some coffee today to make myself feel better.
R/R: still getting the hang of OPKs. My Ava bracelet says I ovulate today (not yesterday) but I’m assuming the OPK is more accurate. Also assuming ovulation is just always gonna be a best guess situation. My control-happy brain does not love “best guess” reality.
@emeraldduchess ugh, I hope your arm feels better! Those shots really hurt @creamcheeseplease sorry about the bfn, but good luck on your interview tomorrow! Crossing fingers that the snow isn't too disruptive @jennifer_louise coffee always makes me feel better too
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 18/3
Timing: -4,-3,-2,-1,O
Typical LP length: btwn 12-14
Testing: WFAF or 3/3, whichever comes first
R/R: I just got back from vacation last night and am at work today feeling so, so tired and jetlagged. My head is not in it today and I wish I could just go home and sleep. I'm sure that's what every boss would love to hear hehe
@emeraldduchess owwww about your arm. And that BFN. But hope you enjoy your time with your MIL and your Mom! Mine get along, but I don't particularly love spending time with my own Mom @creamcheeseplease so sorry for your BFN this morning. And the snow. Boo snow. Hope you and YH don't have to make the call about next cycle at all @jennifer_louise I'm trying not to read into the cramping too. I just keep trying to tell myself that none of my SS is reliable because I've felt the same or different every cycle and none of it ever adds up to anything. @rachelredhead I've found that FF is pretty accurate in identifying O, with the exception of this month. My last 3 cycles have been monitored by bloodwork and ultrasound at my RE's office so I can confirm that everything FF tells me is true. I was pretty impressed! Then this month my body decided to throw everyone for a loop. I think quite a few of us are the same - we want all the answers!
Where is everyone today?
Month/Cycle: 14/11
CD/DPO: 22/9ish
Timing: A++
Typical LP length: 12-13
Testing: Nah, we're good. I go for betas next Wednesday if I make it that far.
R/R: Rant: More snow and freezing rain coming this afternoon. I shall change this to a rave if my boss (aka my Dad) lets us go home early again. Have also been sooo moody the last 2 days. Not sure what that's all about, I don't usually get moody until CD1-2. Ok, admittedly I'm still so moody I can't think of any raves. Umm... the event downstairs was cancelled today due to weather so we're going to go eat their lunches? lol.
CS/Q: Slight dip this morning. FF says 10dpo, I am still sticking with 8 or 9 based on ultrasound.

@kiki047 thanks for the FF rec. I was avoiding just because I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by data as it is. But maybe that would be a good tool to help me feel in control of that data.
@creamcheeseplease sorry for your BFN. I feel the pain for you and @kiki047 on the snow. I’m happily able to work from home today and avoid the 6-10 inches we’re getting. Poor DH had to drive to work and he missed his exit because he couldn’t see the ramp! Jeez. Emotionally done with winter.
@rachelredhead wow you guys are getting a lot more than ya! I hope YH gets home okay.
@kiki047 I hope you can go home early today! It’s so quiet in TWW today.
@mvc003 the first day back from vacation is the worst!
@jenniefer_louise I’m sorry you’re feeling out. I hope the coffee was good and helped pick you up a little!
so I made this minor mistake at work and I’m the one who caught it and corrected it. Someone forwarded the information to my manager. I wasn’t hiding it at all, but it was so minor and I corrected before it was a problem so I feel like that was rude. And then I started crying about it. So.. I’m guessing AF is on her way since that is such a dumb thing to cry about.
@creamcheeseplease snow is just starting, right on schedule. If I can get out before the freezing rain starts, I'll be happy. But obviously I'm swamped at work. and speaking of work, that was a real bitch move of that person for ratting you out. I mean, we all make mistakes but you took steps to correct it so was that really necessary? So sorry.

@kiki047 LOL I love free lunches! I hope everybody with snow stays safe today. Btw- moody is the name of the game. I thank my lucky stars for a DH who puts up with me.
@rachelredhead yup, pinpointing O date is definitely a "squint eyes, scratch head" kinda thing. If you have a very constant LP length (which I don't) you can calculate it in retrospect, but there's always some degree of guessing.
@mvc003 how bout we all just go home and nap this afternoon... I don't even have jetlag as an excuse! Where'd you go on vacay?
@creamcheeseplease the coffee definitely helped. It was "snicker doodle" flavor which was delightful.
@creamcheeseplease what an uncool and unnecessary move from your coworker! That would've made me so mad and probably would've cried too. Ugh that sucks!
@jennifer_louise I just got back from Hawaii! I went for a quick trip to celebrate my 10-year dating-aversary with MH. It was so nice to get away! Although it just makes me want to go back again...I looked at flights for July first thing this morning
Probably the actual funniest part about my coworker is that my boss forwarded me the note in its entirety asking me what it meant. He didn’t even understand. I had to reply, he’s telling you I made a mistake on x.
CD/DPO= 11/1 - I did it right (started ovulation last night - tested before bed time)
Typical LP length= 8-9 maybe R/R: rants and raves - So I am learning here. We just started TTC last month and got a BFN. So I am not up with all the terminology or understand everything I should be doing to help get the BFP. I have been tracking my ovulation the last 3 months. Open to any advice you all have to share. I plan on testing March 7. I am pushing 40 so I am taking meds to increase m eggs (to help increase our chances).
CS/Q: Any advice to handle the two week wait? Last month I ended testing a few times and really want to wait. I would like to avoid driving myself and my BF crazy.

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@mczzi7788 - You might want to look into lengthening your LP. 8-9 days isn't long enough for implantation to happen. I take B6 to lengthen mine, but at your age, you might want to look into Vitex. Also, if testing makes you crazy, just look at the timeline of when implantation happens and when you could possibly get a BFP. Implantation takes place between 6-12 dpo, making it almost impossible to get a BFP until about 8-9dpo. Since that's about how long your LP is in the first place, you could just test on the day AF is due.

I would post since I just got my ovulation positive and expecting to test on March 7, but I don't know what the abbreviations mean.
CD/DPO= cycle day#/number of days past ovulation
Typical LP length= how long your luteal phase is
R/R: rants and raves
CS/Q: chart stalk (you can post a picture) and/or questions
CD/DPO= 11/1 - I did it right (started ovulation last night - tested before bed time)
Typical LP length= 8-9 maybe
R/R: rants and raves - So I am learning here. We just started TTC last month and got a BFN. So I am not up with all the terminology or understand everything I should be doing to help get the BFP. I have been tracking my ovulation the last 3 months. Open to any advice you all have to share. I plan on testing March 7. Thanks.
