@nda_roxybabe YES - mispronouncing words is the WORST. I also second your comment on unique spellings. We just went to a baby shower for a couple expecting a daughter. I asked what they were planning to name her and they said "Carson". I was like, ok, cool. Right then someone hands the mom-to-be a name sign with the name and it's Karsyn. I was like, "oh, it's with a K. And a Y." lol.
I have another pet peeve. Invitations and RSVP. If you put an RSVP by date on the invitation, don't reach out to guest several days before hand to see if they are coming. It makes the guest feel bad when in actuality they are not in the wrong.
Unique spelling of names is a huge one for me. We named our son Atticus and i had a colleague tell me she didnt like it and then said "see what we do is we give them a normal, good name but spell it differently so they are still unique!" Oh okay. Smh.
@amomh Yeah that is annoying to me, too. My son has a very straight forward name, and people always ask me to spell it. It’s like they don’t want to offend me by spelling it the way they know it should be spelled in case there’s a “y” in there or something.
@kdl89 I find people to be especially annoying about pregnancy. First, speculation (ie. You are fat) and then the annoying questions/comments.
I had a guy tell me to take it easy at the gym (huh?). My 2 are 25 months apart, someone asked me if this was #4 because it seems like I am always pregnant (I hate you). Now with this one, I’m def going to get the was it planned question and since it’s a girl (I have 2 boys), I’m sure I’ll get comments because every family is “needs” to have a boy and girl. In fact, I don’t really care about gender and would have been psyched for a house full of boys.
Eta: @klpv415 that woman sounds like a long lost character from the Office (top of mind bc we are rewatching again) 😆. Hang in there, sister! Feel free to adopt my mantra: “punching ppl in the face is not an option”

Also, bad/dangerous drivers. Stop signs aren’t optional stops, asshole.
