Baby is the size of a(n): dill pickle or avocado
Upcoming Appointments: a/s in 3 weeks tomorrow! Finally get to see baby for the first time
How are you feeling?: good
Rants/Raves: I just want my bump to pop already. Dh and I can tell but I want to stop looking chubby to the rest of the world 😂
Questions: is anyone else doing a delayed sex reveal? Like, you want to find out but not in the office? How are you doing it and are you doing it just with your partner or also with others?
We are making lupus and mustaches on sticks and getting the tech to put them in the right envelopes so we open the right envelope and it tells us while we skype families. I've been thinking a lot about it lately and just decided yesterday. Cheap, simple, good for skype and us finding out at the same time as our families, good for an announcement pic after (we aren't announcing publicly until after the scan), and it can go directly in the scrapbook later
GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? (1 not at all, 10 VERY) 2...not superstitious really, but I do like to get spooked by ghost stories and the like every now and then

Rants/Raves:
My husbands company is closing in September and it’s just been really stressful trying to figure out what he’s going to do.

Baby is the size of an: avocado
Upcoming Appointments: 3 weeks for check up
How are you feeling?: not too bad a little tired but better than 1st trimester
Rants/Raves: I want the bump to pop too! My husband and I see it but no one else can tell.
Questions: none
GTKY: superstitious: hmm, I’d say a 2.
@hillaryo14 Was the diagnosis confirmed through an amnio or cvs? I'm sure that the news was very overwhelming. From what I have seen there are SO many support groups for pregnancy and raising a child with Down's syndrome. I'm so glad that your friends and family are being supportive, and I hope that we can all be an extra source of support for you as well.
@newmamakt I hope your husband can find something soon so that you're not waiting in limbo, especially right after having a new baby!
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 8/3 16+2
Baby is the size of a(n): Avocado
Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy scan is scheduled for 3/18
How are you feeling?: Ok. My daughter and I both had the flu last week, so I'm finally feeling better from that. This pregnancy has been a lot harder than my first, and I just want to feel normal again!
Rants/Raves: See above
Questions: Nope
GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? (1 not at all, 10 VERY): 2-3?
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 16W
Baby is the size of a(n): Avocado
Upcoming Appointments: Regular appointment with OB 3/7 and A/S 2 weeks after
How are you feeling?: Much better..still nauseous but much better
Rants/Raves:
Questions: Anyone else not working out? I am seriously starting to feel guilty about not getting any done 😭
GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? A 6 perhaps
Baby is the size of a(n): Avacado again or Dill Pickle. I am lost with these fruits/veggies because last week ovia said the size of an Avacado but is now Dill Pickle.. to me a Dill pickle is smaller than an avocado.. but what do I know.. And the Bump says Avacado this week. IDK! the stresss lol
Upcoming Appointments: 2/28 then I hope to schedule my anatomy scan and fetal echo!
How are you feeling?: Yesterday was the best day I have had YET so I'm super hopeful this nausea is gone. but DDs poop still grosses me out so probably not.
Rants/Raves: Yesterday I did EVERY piece of laundry I own and put it all away. I'm a put a load in the dryer and pull my stuff out throughout the week kind of person -- maybe that's a FFFC -- but it feels so good to have everything organized again. AND I made the bed this morning. WHO AM I?
Questions:
GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? (1 not at all, 10 VERY) um probably a 5ish. sometimes I knock on wood..

GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? (1 not at all, 10 VERY)
Probably a 5. I’m selectively superstitious.
EST Due Date: 16w - 8/5
Baby is the size of an: Avocado
Upcoming appointments: 2/21 for a second blood draw related to the integrated tests (NT and neuro disorders)
how are you feeling: My stomach has been achy, not sure if it’s what I’ve been eating or just round ligament pain, or just everything being squashed together in a small space. Otherwise, most of my first trimester symptoms have subsided and I’ve got that fear I’m feeling “too good”...
Rants/Raves: With everyone on the waiting for my bump to pop train, but given my tilted uterus and long torso (still remember the woman at the ballet apparel store when i was 13 or so telling me that I’ll never make it as a dancer because of my torso to limb proportions...) I’m guessing I’ll probably be waiting a while for a proper bump.
GTYK: probably a 6, I blame my Eastern European roots

@nimo-ad I did not work out much when I was pregnant with twins... hell a flight of stairs was enough to make me have to sit down. I did do some prenatal yoga and that was helpful just to keep me limber and moving. Don't feel guilty, growing 2 at once is no joke.
Diagnosed : unexplained infertility
6 rounds of IUI and a MC 2/2014, rainbow twins 4/2015
TTC #3 5/2016
Restarted Fertility tx
IUI 2 rounds, baby girl 12/17
@wabash15 I am a total novice in this area, but I don't think there is a way to tell the extent at this point, since a lot of the issues have to do with vision, hearing, and cognitive abilities. I will meet with a cardiologist later on in the pregnancy to determine if he has any heart issues that would show up during pregnancy.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts. I truly appreciate it!
@hillaryo14 So wonderful that you have a support system. I can't imagine how tough all the not knowing and unanswered questions are.
@mkrel So many people seem to have the flu right now. Hope you're back to 100% very, very soon!
@nimo-ad You can do it! Start with a long walk. Or an easy yoga flow on youtube like others suggested?
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Aug 2/ 16w4d
Baby is the size of a(n): Avocado
Upcoming Appointments: Check-up yesterday. Heard the heartbeat and it sounded great. Anatomy scan on March 13th
How are you feeling?: Good. I can definitely tell that I'm getting bigger. Tiredness seems to be getting better.
Rants/Raves: I had President's Day off work and made dumplings with two friends. It was super fun. Looking forward to a short work week!
Questions: Nope.
GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? (1 not at all, 10 VERY)
About sports, very probably an 8. If I've worn a shirt to watch my Gators and they've lost, then I can't wear it again that season.
Baby is the size of a(n): Navel Orange
Upcoming Appointments: Today
How are you feeling?: Other than extreme hip pain in the mornings, I feel pretty good. I think it's a combination of our old bed and the growing baby...and me just being older this time around.
Rants/Raves: My doctor has decided that it would be good for me to start progesterone shots, due to pre-term labor with my other pregnancies. I got the call yesterday, that our out of pocket portion would be $761/mo...yes, a month!!! After talking with the rep on the phone, she finally came out and asked if I wanted to try to qualify for financial relief from the manufacturer...well duh! After answering some questions and realizing we were on the max side of the income requirements, they were still able to get the amount down to $140/mo, but the full $761 would go towards my deductible. So in 3 months I should hit my out of pocket expenses for the year. I was extremely grateful for that, but also still shocked. Had I not complained about the cost, I don't think they would have ever brought up the whole financial relief option. But based on what we pay a month for insurance and what we get, this whole 80/20 formula still seems to be lopsided.
Questions:
GTKY: on a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you? (1 not at all, 10 VERY) I would say a 3-4.

How are you feeling?: good with the exception of the constant peeing. I pee at least 3 times a night and constantly during the day. If I’m peeing this frequently now, I don’t know how I’m going to manage the 3rd trimester.
