I was put on Unisom / B6 last week b/c the nausea has been borderline debilitating. Now my nausea is better (not completely gone, but better), but I’m SO groggy all day and My mouth is crazy dry from the Unisom. I just can’t win. 😞
Feeling so much better - 14+2 so officially into second trimester. More energy and more of an appetite. Still threw up 2 days ago but on the whole much better
I’ve been really lucky to get away with mild nausea and food aversions and now at 10w2d even those seem to have passed (I ate normal person food two days in a row for dinner). I had some cramps - except not exactly cramps, more like little shooting abdominal pains overnight and this am. Drank a lot of water and that seems to have helped or else they just stopped. Wondered if maybe it had to do with my ute expanding.
Still battling a kidney infection (round 2 of antibiotics, this time augmentin) so that's kicking my butt. In constant pain. Also kidney stones. Yet can't take antiinflammatories which is about all that helps.
Super tired still.
Cranky. Especially with dumb people at work.
But finally able to drink coffee without puking so things are looking up!
I’m finally feeling better! My nausea has improved so much & so has the fatigue. I still get tired, but it’s not debilitating like it was. I did have a super queasy day last week with vomiting, but other than that I haven’t been puking much for the last week or so. 13 weeks on Tuesday!
ETA: After a few days of wondering if I am crazy, I'm almost 100% positive I'm feeling some very sporadic, light movement. This is baby #3, so I'm not totally surprised I can feel her this soon!

@hey_clever_girl I've thought the same thing regarding movement a few times but convince myself it isn't possible since I'll be 12w tomorrow. But idk. It's a different feeling. And I felt my second at 14w And thought that was impossible. So who knows.
I have also thought I felt movement 2-3 times, but it's so hard to tell at this stage! I had a random bout of sciatica one night this week. Holy crap it sucked, but thankfully it resolved overnight.
Still riding the HG bus, but finally seem to have my meds on a schedule that I can live with the constant nausea but no vomiting.
I've been quite good throughout, so far. Mostly the constipation is my biggest issue. It can get really bad. Other than that, I consider myself pretty lucky. Sending wishes that everyone's symptoms subside in the coming weeks!
So tired. So irritable. So neurotic. Nausea I don't want to say and jinx it.
I also work on the third floor of my building and have never had trouble getting up the stairs but I can barely make it and by the time I do, I am out of breath for at least ten minutes. Wtf, body?
For the most part I have just been exhausted and extremely irritable. I could be cranky because I can't seem to get in enough sleep. I have read, and been told, that you regain some energy during your second trimester so I'm hoping that happens for me!
@VanessaAshley I thought it was too soon to feel hip discomfort, but I’ve also been super achy. Yesterday my groin muscle felt like it was on fire every time I stood up. I don’t remember this so early last time. It’s going to be a long 9 months!!
On a positive note my nausea has almost completely gone away (13 weeks), but I’m not giving up my night time dose of diclegis just yet!
@lilmamabebe3 I hear you on the stairs! I can barely climb the stairs to get up to the train station every morning without feeling like I'm gonna pass out!
Is anyone else puking more as the weeks have gone on? I was nauseated most of first tri and was sick a few times, but since about 12 weeks I have actually been sick at night more often. I keep thinking it’s getting better, then it comes back full force.
@lilmamabebe3 same. I get out of breath so easily now. I have a FitBit I got through work and my resting heart rate has gone up 4-5 points since pre-pregnancy.
Also add me to the being achy club. My hips are already starting to hurt if I sit or lay down for too long in a bent or crossed-leg position for too long. Also my shoulders are starting to ache too and I'm wondering if that's due to sleeping on my side more.

@mkrel meeee!! Nauseous the whole first tri but started getting sick and vomiting at night in the last two weeks... luckily it seems to have simmered down the last few days so I’m hoping I’m past it now... 🤞🏻
Still so sick second tri was supposed to be an off switch to that just called in for Zofran from my doc - picking it up on my way home tonight. not feeling good at all right now at work. suuucks.
eta - I have never taken Zofran - doctor recommended so I guess that's all the research I need to do???

So I've been getting this weird..tickling feeling while I'm chilling in the couch. Central lower abdomen. It's intermittent and irregular. It's not painful, just..weird. PGAL brain is freaking out though. I Keep checking for spotting. For all I know it's not even pregnancy related, but I thought I'd see if Anyone has any ideas what it might be or has experienced it before.
@chillycanadian no clue here sorry --- but COULD it be the baby moving? I don't feel anything yet at 15 weeks here my self, but I feel like I remember the first feelings of DD being kind of tickly. Maybe it's too soon and I'm making things up entirely.

Anyone else having upper abdomen (right below ribs) muscle spasms? Wondering if it’s uterus getting bigger or maybe just moved or twisted wrong. Will ask NP at next appt, but it’s not concerning... just weird
Help--I am in the middle of an ocular migraine where I can't see anything, I feeling nauseous, but I don't have an actual migraine. No not head pain, but lots of eye pain and blurred vision, etc. Just for reference it has taken me twenty minutes to write this post because it's hard to see the letters. Called my ob and the nurse is going to call me back but they said, "If it feels like an emergency, go to the emergency room." Umm idk that is why I called you.
I haven't had these with my other pregnancies. Is this normal or do I need to leave work immediately?
@lilmamabebe3 I have been getting them with this pregnancy too starting around 7 weeks. It has happened to me 3 times. Prior to this, I hadn't had one since leaving a very very stressful job over 5 years ago. Apparently pregnancy hormones can make them worse. Lay down and close your eyes and drink some water.
I am obviously not your doctor and something else could be going on, but that has been my experience and they are everything that you describe. It should pass in 30 minutes or so. If it doesn't, I would get yourself in to be checked out.
@lilmamabebe3 all my migraines start off that way. I loose a good portion of my vision for 30-45 min then it comes back and then the pain sets in.... So I might give it a little bit of time, because its not like your driving anywhere but if it doesn't get better then I would go get seen.

Thanks, ladies! My vision feels almost normal again and I would love to go home but I have a 4-5 pm meeting. So yay for that (4-5 meetings are so inconsiderate in my opinion. I want to be planning my day for tomorrow and wrapping up loose ends. I hate 4-5 meetings).
@lilmamabebe3 this isn't a symptom, so I hope everyone forgives me, but I am a serial scheduler of 4-5pm meetings. I have several managers who tend to be talkers, and unless they or I have something else on the calendar a one hour meeting can stretch long beyond that, only a small portion of which is actually work related. Therefore, if I need to schedule a meeting, I will either make sure to do it the hour prior to something else they have on their calendar or at 4pm.
11w3d and feeling like I'm finally over the hump! Still really tired, but nausea and headaches are gone for the most part. Made it through most of last week without naps! Lol
@lilmamabebe3 -- UGH I don't have advice but I just want to say I'm so sorry you are going through this! I've had a handful of horrific migraines in my life and wouldn't wish them on anyway. Hope it gets better fast.
Will I ever be able to drink water again? (I know the answer is yes, this happens to me every time, but by the 8th week of it I start getting so sad and just dreaming about water)
Thanks everyone! I just felt achy for the rest of the evening. I feel so much better today! Getting ready is still a struggle because standing for too long makes me want to vomit but otherwise I am starting to (knock on wood) generally feel better. I can FINALLY drink water again!!! I haven't tried my prenatal again, but will in a few weeks. For now I am just taking four folic acid pills a night and trying to get as much protein as I can. Salads are pretty easy for me to eat at this point too. So I know the prenatal is important but I am doing my best without it for now. My OB said to try again at 16 weeks but I go in next Friday and they may tell me to start then since I am starting to feel better.
@lilmamabebe3 - I normally get 2-3 ocular migraines a year, and it goes away during pregnancy ... with the exception of the near-2nd Trimester mark. There was a 2-week period from 11.5-13.5 weeks with DD where I had one almost every day. I don't know if it was the extra blood, the pressure from my uterus expanding causing stress in my body, or what ... but I just tried to take it slow. It was the one time I would allow myself something like a Diet Mt. Dew and I'd chug it to help alleviate it some, but it would still last for 30-45 min. It's awful when it happens at work. Hope you made it through the 4-5 ok!

I am just here to complain that my immune system sucks when I'm pregnant. Stomach virus last week, now this week I am getting a cold/cough/congestion situation. I just want to feel normal!

I completely understand that, our problem is our VP is so busy that we always get stuck with 4-5pm meetings. And the worst part is that he lives in a different state but flies in every week, so he is not respectful about letting people leave. He always says, "I have no life when I'm here so if you want to meet after hours we can."
No. i don't want to meet after hours. I have two kids and a husband to get home to, and a nanny to relieve. Bye.
