I thought I would combine them since we didn't have a UO yesterday and FFFC last week was kinda slow.

What are your unpopular opinions?

Any confessions you would like to make?

Kind of a tame one but... I'm going to be completely useless at work for this entire pregnancy. I've been taken off of my regular work duties (lab work) and have been given mostly office work. I get so distracted when I'm sitting in front of a computer. I can't concentrate!!! I just hope I don't get a ton of administrative work to do. I'm going to hate my job real quick if that happens.

FFFC - I typically don't wash my fruit

UO - I don't understand how people can live off of diet soda only hydration methods.

I just took half a unisom at work because I'm feeling so sick and there is a very high likelihood I'll be asleep at my desk by 2pm. Also, IDGAF.

@redbreast35 I have definitely noticed it's hard to do everyday mindless tasks. I end up doing them wrong because I'm over thinking something pregnancy related lol.

I have another one my friend thinks is weird so maybe some of you will too. FFFC: I don't wash my face. I don't wear makeup and I don't have bad acne and my skin is generally dry so I don't have to worry about oil build up... It's not like my face isn't clean, it gets hot water and friction from my hands during my morning shower. I just don't use any soap or cleanser on it. Is that weird?!

@ljmoon6 Your face non-washing habits are gross. 🤣 I also don’t wear makeup and have dry-ish skin but I am so skeeved out by all the pollution out there in the world when I step outside. I wash my face 2x a day. Also, so happy to hear you’re also out of the lab!

afm: I like getting shots (of the flu/vaccine variety not the alcohol/gun kind 🤣). Also don’t mind giving blood (kinda like a reverse shot).

UO: I fucking hate sports. I just don’t get the hype and I don’t understand why pro athletes make so much money.

FFFC: I ran a red light near work this morning, like fully went through a red from being stopped. I had to pee so bad, the light is notoriously long, and no one was coming so I just went.

@LJMoon6 my first reaction was “whaaaaaaa?!” but I guess if you don’t wear makeup and don’t have skin problems it’s not a big deal.
@nomangos23 agreed on the diet sodas

@themadcamel No sports...at all?!?!?!??!?!?!? Did you ever play any sports growing up? You don’t like any pro athletes?!? Not even Serena Williams? She’s a serious beast!!

I am trying to imagine all that, but I just...can’t. I love sports!

@themadcamel I am totally with you! I haaaaate sports. Maybe it's the musician in me, but I don't understand why anyone would voluntarily run around and exhaust themselves. I secretly hope my daughter and future child don't want to play sports, but I'll encourage them if they do.

@lillywonderland lol I did play soccer and tennis for a few years as a child. I figure skated from age 5-15 and studied ballet from age 6-21. I totally respect what athletes can do and the discipline they have to achieve their goals, but what I don’t understand is how regular people get so into it. Like... “my favorite sports team” isn’t a home decorative style. I will say that I do enjoy going to a Blackhawks game every now and then. Overall though, I’m just not into it.

My UO: Unless you work at a job like construction or farming (or similar jobs that you get sweaty and stinky), I don't think humans need to shower every day. We don't get that dirty sitting at a desk all day. I actually think it is better for your skin to shower every other day. Flame away.

@nomangos23 same! I washed an apple this week though because my coworker was watching lol.

@themadcamel I do like some sports, but i agree that the amount professional athletes get paid is insane. Especially the rookie benchwarmers who never even get to play. It is maddening.

@themadcamel Meh. I agree that’s it’s ridiculous how much they make, but samesies for movie/tv stars, politicians and all those f*cking Kartrashians. Our society is built on worshiping the elite, whether through looks or ability. It’s truly a shame. I do enjoy watching sports though, but I was an athlete for many years. I would have loved to have been good enough to go pro. There’s definitely something wonderful about the community that a sports team makes.

@lillywonderland Haha! I just don't get it! And it's EVERYWHERE! I think it comes from my general dislike of this person I know who is like DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY and is constantly posting on social media about how much she loves Disney, she dresses her children in Disney costumes for Halloween every year and always posts pictures of them in like March when she actually orders the costumes. I just don't get it. Maybe I just haven't found my Disney-equivalent to be passionate about yet 🤣

@kgg2241 agreed on not daily showering. On weekends when me and MH don't have plans, we're in pajamas 24/7 and don't shower until going to work the follow monday haha.

@LJMoon6 I envy your ability to not wash your face as I fall into the category of adults who got acne after 20...although I've had surprisingly clear skin so far this pregnancy.

UO: I hate wearing bras and avoid them at all costs

FFFC: I'm already using morning sickness as an excuse to get on DH for not taking out the trash as often as he needs to

UO: I don’t know if it’s actually an opinion but I only eat like one thing at a time. (Example: if I have green beans chicken, and mashed potatoes I will eat all the green bean, then all the potatoes,and if I’m still hungry I will eat all the chicken) it make sure my coworkers nuts. But I eat the thing that saves the best last. So if I don’t eat it all I can reheat it later.

FFFC: I’m excited to go on indiana Jones, big thunder mountain, and racers at Disneyland next week.

UO: I don’t understand people who don’t have/want their passport.

@kgg2241 agreed on the showering. I get awful dry skin if I shower too frequently. My FFFC is that I shower every three-ish days. And definitely have gone longer than that before. I’m definitely not stinky or unhygienic. I just hate having to get out of the warmth and comb my stupid wet hair 😂

My UO is that I don’t think Pumpkin Spice Lattes are that great. I know, I know. Bad basic white girl!

@zuuls_mom same here! Same! The thought of getting out of a warm shower and then having to blow dry my hair is honestly one of my biggest deterrents. I probably shower every other day, but I only wash my hair every four days.

My UO is that I actually love having an excuse not to drink! I stopped when we started trying for our first and, since I'm still breastfeeding him, I haven't had a drink since then (Dec. 2016). At some point I'll have to own up to just not wanting to drink, but for now I have at least eight more months without questions!
