    @kimmer1412 I'm sorry for CD1.

    @b_1029 Im sorry for the mixup at the doctors office! It seems crazy they can't squeeze you in. It sounds like not temping this month would be a nice change while you are away. I'm glad you were able to talk to YH and I hope it results in positive changes for you and your relationship.

    Month/Cycle: 3

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: pre-natals, opks, tracking CM

    R/R: I ate chocolate for breakfast. This can be both my rant and my rave ;-) Another rant is that I am dealing with a problem with an internal site that I administer, and I think I know how to update it, but I can't get confirmation on one part of it from anyone. I deal with some internal developers in south america and they won't give the name of the person they are funneling my questions to because they (I think) are suspicious that I will try to pass the work off to them. Ahh, big company problems, lol.

    CS/Q: nope.

    *lurking* to give some hugs.
    @kimmer1412 sorry for CD1.
    @b_1029 *hugs* friend. I'm sorry yesterday was so tough, but glad you were able to express some of your feelings and I hope YH acknowledged them and will help you feel more supported moving forward. Maybe taking this month "off" from temping and with no meds is just the mental reset you need to, y'know, "relax and let it happen" :lol:  (I'm obviously kidding, I apologize if it's too soon to joke about that)

    @stephanie123456 that's quite the story! DH and I always do our BDing before bed because he never wants to do it earlier. If that had been us... Yeah we probably wouldn't BD that night. I have a hard time getting over my anger and irritation sometimes.

    @kiki047 I am feeling so relaxed now that I'm sure it'll happen  :D that's how it works right????

    @misshelen86 hopefully you O this weekend and you all are able to SMEP it out!

    @inthewoods23 I think he did, but seemed shocked when I questioned if he even wanted a baby. I was like I mean you never act disappointed and you never talk about it so...??? I know he's trying to be positive, but sometimes it comes off to me as not really giving a crap what happens. Oh man, I'm glad you didn't lose your pills! That would be awful! Your temp is lookin real cute.

    @stephanie123456 San Diego! I've never been so am really excited. That story is hilarious! Your poor H!

    @b_1029 I think DH would have been indifferent for the most part, maybe somewhat impatient but *TW* he has definitely changed with 3 family members in my family getting KU within a month and a half of each other. And we've been trying for 3 time longer than all of them *end TW*

    I try to not let the frustration get to me but it sometimes you just feel like there's no hope.

    @prpl11butterfly I'm sorry for CD1, but you sound hopeful. Moving is a fun distraction! I feel like you were house hunting back in the June BMB, no? Hope the one you see tonight is dreamy. Before we moved I picked out 100 perfect houses online and promptly nixed them in person. Agree that realtor pics are totally deceiving... I was rather impressed with how good they made my own condo look when I was selling. :wink:

    Month/Cycle: 3/3 I guess?

    CD:  3

    WAYDTGKU:  nothing yet- but plan to use OPKs, check CM, and temp

    R/R:  nothing really today

    CS/Q:  Ok, I know what soft cups are- but how are they being used for the TTGP process??? I was pretty active on these boards in 2015- but this is a new thing.....so inquiring minds want to know about it.  And what does SMEP mean??  I try to participate as I can, and tag and respond to people as I can.  My work life is like the movie office space most days- I do just enough to not get in trouble....but I struggle to find motivation to do work.  And I sit with my back to a door opening- so I never know who could be sneaking up on me.  Hard to be on here a whole lot.

    @b_1029  Glad you talked to your DH.  It's so hard to have those conversations, but it's so much better to have them and tell him how you feel.  I also think that as women and thanks to all of our lovely predisposed genes and hormones, it's just a million times harder on us than it is on them, especially the emotional aspect of TTGP.  I was just telling my counselor the other night that even though I haven't directly asked my DH a few questions about how he feels about where we are at, I'm pretty confident of what his answers would be.  We are on a limited TTGP time frame ( I'm 38, will be 39 in August, and hubby is 46)   and we just don't want to be a whole lot older than we are already are, if a #2 child came into the picture.  I'm glad to hear you are going away for a few days- it will be good for you!  San Diego is one of my favorite places!!! It's amazing!!! Go to Old Town if you can- there is this AMAZING outdoor mexican restaurant and if you go at night, you can see the stars in the sky from your table!! Old town is great!! The whole area is nice, I'm jealous!!

    @kimmer1412- sorry about CD 1!!!

    @sorarose I like the way you think 😉

    @MNturnsVA SMEP is sex EOD starting on CD8, start OPKs on CD10 and continue until +OPK then sex that day and the next 2 days skip the 4th day and have sex on the 5th day. Basically its covering all your potential fertile days to take the guess work out.
  • Options
    @kimmer1412 - um....nope.  I can't.  I would be burnt out.  I remember when we were actively TTGP with #1 and hubby had been "bragging" that he could have sex everyday if I'd let him......well we ended up randomly doing that once, and he was too tired to  have sex again on the 3rd day or something.  I was like- what happened to mr I can do this everyday?!?!?  which again, I could not do it everyday. even for the sake of TTGP- I couldn't.  More power to all the ladies who can!

    @MNturnsVA I think once you've tried for long enough, you'll do just about whatever it takes, including sex EOD... no matter how tired (or in my case sick) you are!  Babymaking sex isn't always glamorous, but you gotta do what you gotta do!  That said, I definitely secretly celebrated when my FW finally ended this time around.  And we did a pretty decent job of keeping it enjoyable this go around.  :lol:
