Month/Cycle:3/3
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, FF, BBT, SMEP
R/R: so at least AF didnt torture me and came a day early. Ready to start a new cycle. Not much going on just work and school.
CS/Q: nothing to see here
Month/Cycle: 15/16
CD: 4
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, EPO, SMEP
R/R: apparently I have to see my doctor before getting another round of clomid, which no one at the office ever told me. So none for me this month, they couldn’t get me in until Monday which would be too late to start anyway. Frustrating. I had the biggest breakdown last night but it was good because I finally told DH how I’ve been feeling (long story short, unsupported / like he doesn’t really care about having a baby) so hopefully we can have more honest conversations about it moving forward
Rave- at least this means I’ll hopefully have actual EWCM this time, which makes me more hopeful. Also, this is my last day of work before California tomorrow!
CS/Q: nope!
edited because I decided not to really temp this cycle. I’m visiting my cousin this weekend and don’t really want to wake up at 2:30 California time to poke myself with a thermometer. Maybe it’ll be good for the stress because I just obsess over my chart in the TWW.
@b_1029 Im sorry for the mixup at the doctors office! It seems crazy they can't squeeze you in. It sounds like not temping this month would be a nice change while you are away. I'm glad you were able to talk to YH and I hope it results in positive changes for you and your relationship.

R/R: I ate chocolate for breakfast. This can be both my rant and my rave ;-) Another rant is that I am dealing with a problem with an internal site that I administer, and I think I know how to update it, but I can't get confirmation on one part of it from anyone. I deal with some internal developers in south america and they won't give the name of the person they are funneling my questions to because they (I think) are suspicious that I will try to pass the work off to them. Ahh, big company problems, lol.
CS/Q: nope.
@kimmer1412 sorry for CD1.
@b_1029 *hugs* friend. I'm sorry yesterday was so tough, but glad you were able to express some of your feelings and I hope YH acknowledged them and will help you feel more supported moving forward. Maybe taking this month "off" from temping and with no meds is just the mental reset you need to, y'know, "relax and let it happen" (I'm obviously kidding, I apologize if it's too soon to joke about that)

@b_1029 That’s really frustrating you have to see your doc first. That might have been good to share when they first ordered it. Sorry you’re not feeling supported, hopefully that conversation will help YH pay more attention to your emotional needs.
@creamcheeseplease Sorry for CD1. What kind of chocolate did you have? That’s really annoying about your work problem. Hopefully you’re able to get it sorted out.

@b_1029 I hope YH took the conversation well! I've had a few words for my DH in previous months too. I know this next IUI is going to be on a work day and DH better be there and none of the "oh I'm so busy crap".
@creamcheeseplease happy to see you back on the board but boo CD1 of course!
@misshelen86 hope the timing works out good for you! I like less chaotic too

WAYDTGKU: IUI #2 and stuff
R/R: I wish we had some sunnier days. Been cloudy and overcast for a while. Yesterday I almost forgot to pick up my prescription for letrozole and decided I would go through the drive thru since I didn't have anything else to pick up. I almost was in a panic because they asked about a new insurance card which had me confused because I gave it to them last month which I then realized was last year... But they got it figured out. Then, when they had the stuff in the tray for me to grab I picked up my card first and as I was doing that my prescription FLEW away down the parking lot from the wind. It is only 10 pills plus they staple the medicine info sheet to the bag so I wasn't that surprised that it happened. I didn't lose it so that's good, except for the receipt.
CS/Q: look I took my temp for once! What a cute dot.

I totally forgot that I updated our address so my card didn't work because DH forgot the new zip code. So he was super pissed because he had to come home and get another card (he didn't bring his wallet). My car ran out of gas literally as he pulled into our complex So DH had to take his car out, buy a gas can and some fuel, then come back home. @kiki047 I am feeling so relaxed now that I'm sure it'll happen that's how it works right????
@misshelen86 hopefully you O this weekend and you all are able to SMEP it out!
@inthewoods23 I think he did, but seemed shocked when I questioned if he even wanted a baby. I was like I mean you never act disappointed and you never talk about it so...??? I know he's trying to be positive, but sometimes it comes off to me as not really giving a crap what happens. Oh man, I'm glad you didn't lose your pills! That would be awful! Your temp is lookin real cute.
@stephanie123456 San Diego! I've never been so am really excited. That story is hilarious! Your poor H!

CS/Q: Ok, I know what soft cups are- but how are they being used for the TTGP process??? I was pretty active on these boards in 2015- but this is a new thing.....so inquiring minds want to know about it. And what does SMEP mean?? I try to participate as I can, and tag and respond to people as I can. My work life is like the movie office space most days- I do just enough to not get in trouble....but I struggle to find motivation to do work. And I sit with my back to a door opening- so I never know who could be sneaking up on me. Hard to be on here a whole lot.
@b_1029 Glad you talked to your DH. It's so hard to have those conversations, but it's so much better to have them and tell him how you feel. I also think that as women and thanks to all of our lovely predisposed genes and hormones, it's just a million times harder on us than it is on them, especially the emotional aspect of TTGP. I was just telling my counselor the other night that even though I haven't directly asked my DH a few questions about how he feels about where we are at, I'm pretty confident of what his answers would be. We are on a limited TTGP time frame ( I'm 38, will be 39 in August, and hubby is 46) and we just don't want to be a whole lot older than we are already are, if a #2 child came into the picture. I'm glad to hear you are going away for a few days- it will be good for you! San Diego is one of my favorite places!!! It's amazing!!! Go to Old Town if you can- there is this AMAZING outdoor mexican restaurant and if you go at night, you can see the stars in the sky from your table!! Old town is great!! The whole area is nice, I'm jealous!!
@kimmer1412- sorry about CD 1!!!
@b_1029: When doctor's offices screw up, it's the worst! Sorry that happened.
@creamcheeseplease: I support your breakfast choices.
@misshelen86: Glad you're enjoying your work schedule.
@inthewoods23: Stressful, but glad it mostly seemed to work out.
@stephanie123456: Yikes, that's quite the story!
@prpl11butterfly: Congrats on househunting! Hope to be in a similar boat shortly!

R/R: Rant: My co-worker was being extra extra today. I try to be cordial, but everything I say seems to irritate him and he snapped at me for the most trivial of reasons. I'm not his direct supervisor, but in chain of command, I'm above him and he works for me. So over it.
Rave: New thermometer and preseed in transit!!!
CS/Q: Busy stalking others.
@MNturnsVA SMEP is sex EOD starting on CD8, start OPKs on CD10 and continue until +OPK then sex that day and the next 2 days skip the 4th day and have sex on the 5th day. Basically its covering all your potential fertile days to take the guess work out.
@MNturnsVA I think once you've tried for long enough, you'll do just about whatever it takes, including sex EOD... no matter how tired (or in my case sick) you are! Babymaking sex isn't always glamorous, but you gotta do what you gotta do! That said, I definitely secretly celebrated when my FW finally ended this time around. And we did a pretty decent job of keeping it enjoyable this go around.
