@marebear15@lillywonderland I feel guilty afterward, but I occasionally imagine how nice and clean my house would be without hairy beasts roaming free.
@lillywonderland and @themadcamel - That's one of the reasons we don't have pets, but also I'm afraid of dogs, and that's the only pet DH would ever want.
@kagesstarshroom they both look so sweet! @marebear15 dogs are definitely not for everyone. One of my friends was attacked by a dog as a child so I always go to her place to visit or we meet out somewhere because it's too hard for her to be around my dog.
I can't handle all the cuteness! How are everyone's furbabies handling the mom's to be? Do they seem to know something is up??? Mine are always cuddly but even more so now!
@omg1108 My black cat, Boo, is completely out of control with me. She won't leave me alone if I'm in the house. She never was a lap cat but she suddenly is one. I love her but it's driving me nuts.

@chichiphin They're cute but can knock you unconscious if you're not careful! Her big old head has broken TWO noses. I am not proud to admit this. She was very sorry.
Our three amigos (taken a few years ago), left to right, Indy (9), Molly (10) and Maggie (13), all rescues and they keep us busy. The pits are excellent nanny dogs to our daughter, our coonhound...not so much 😕
Omg I can't with all this cuteness. Love the pictures of all the furbabies!! Here's my baby. His name is Monkey and he is a grouchy old man at 13 years old. I've had him since he was 4weeks old. He's been super needy since I'm KU. Wants to be on me constantly.
@luckyducky003 Love hounds! Your WTC is so cute. Is he vocal?
@rnw2019 He has degenerative myelopathy - basically like an ALS for dogs. He's been rolling in his cart for a full year at this point. I don't think we have much longer with him but we're super thankful the cart gave him so much more good time.
@dahliasanddogs not normally but if we all leave the house at the same time I can hear him from the back of our parking lot (we live in a pretty big apartment building). I feel sorry for my neighbors 🙃
We have a sweet little shih poo, Nova, who doesn’t shed and is super sweet! I adore her! Everyone says that after you have kids you’ll want to get rid of your pets, but I don’t!
Clover is an 8yo Husky/Lab & Whiskey is a 7yo German Shepherd/American Bulldog. Lily (the cat) is 7.5yo and has become quite the cuddlebug. None of them realize what they're in for.
Question: What are some tips/tricks to start introducing changes to the furbabies?
@lilyclover with my first I let my dog sniff everything and set stuff up early so she could get used to it being around the house. I always “included” my pet with having the baby near her. Also giving your fur baby some extra love!
We’ve got three fur babies - Stella (top) and Duke (bottom), two grumpy old cats that H had before we met, and Monty, a 4 year old pit mix/giant baby. Those are broccoli stems stacked on Monty’s head - he will sit very still for broccoli treats!
Love seeing all your fur babies!! We have two fur beasts, Myla and Morris. They are both great cats, Myla (calico) certainly has an attitude 😂 Anyone have any tricks for getting cats ready for a baby??
@lilyclover with our first we set up the room and let our dog get used to everything before she was born. Also I brought a blanket to the hospital that we wrapped around the baby to get her smell on it and my husband went home one day and brought the blanket so the dog would have the babies smell before we brought her home.
@satuttle1014 Thanks! We've still got a lot of time, so we've been inviting friends/family that have little ones. I know it won't be the same as when a baby is here full time.
@kdl89 I've read about the blanket and definitely plan to do that. Thank you for the tip.
I guess I'm just worried because my dogs are "middle-aged" and so set in their ways that this will upset them in some way.

This is Senna! She is not amused when I take pictures of her. She has no idea she's getting a little brother or sister.

@nomangos23 omg sennnaaa. she looks like she could be part of my herd of black and white pups!

@omg1108 We’ve always joked that my dog is a mama’s boy, but ever since a couple of days before my BFP he’s been extra cuddly.
My furbaby Ted (4):
Here’s my little love, Peewee (11)
This is my favorite thread
I want to pet everyone's furbabies.
Should this be a weekly thread? 😂
@dahliasanddogs I love your dog's wheelchair!! What's his/her story?
Here are mine: Brick (dog, 12), Jude (tabby, 13), Mikado (black, 12)
My furbaby is a walker coonhound and he is the biggest scaredy-cat in the world, but he make sure for a good cuddle buddy.
