  I finally made it to lab, only to discover that I have been charged with rooting out the contamination issue, even though it's likely asshole labmate's fault.
  
  For those in the know, we're having issues with Pseudomonas spp. contaminating our transformants, which most likely means that asshole labmate used tap water at some point when he was making competent cells for the lab.... because he was too lazy to filter it. But to prove that's the issue, I need to do like 8 transformations 😞😞😞

  @deecherise ah man, that's annoying. Your competent cells are E. coli, right? At least that grows somewhat quickly.

  @MollyH1987 yeah, they're just standard DH5a. I'm just annoyed because it's another 2 days I can't clone. A necessary step, but irritating.

  UPDATE: it is indeed asshole labmate's fault our stuff is contaminated! I've never felt such vindictive joy! The downside is that I get to spend the next few days making competent cells, but the gloating rights are overpowering my disappointment 😎

     IUI#1   - 02/15 - Cancelled due to scrubbed sperm count <1MM
     IVF#1  - 08/15 - 13x5-day blastocysts (ranging from AA-BB, most are 5 or 6), not PGS, on ice
     FET#1 - 10/15 - 1 emb - BFP (DD 07/16) (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
     FET#2 - 07/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
     FET#3 - 08/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
     FET#4 - 10/17 - 2 emb - BFN (changed to estrace + prometrium because of allergic reaction to PIO sesame oil)
  ERA Testing - 12/17 - window moved (-1 day)
     FET#5 - 03/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
  Karyotype Testing - 04/18 - Negative (we're ok)
     FET#6 - 06/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
     FET#7 - 10/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
