Trying to Get Pregnant

Re: TWW: Wednesday 1/2

  • CD: 52
Testing: trying weekly .... more like every 3 days
R/R: i keep getting really convincing evap lines and Im driving myself crazy. I think I need to take a break from the HPTs but I can't stop myself. I just want to pee on all the sticks.

  • @daisy0322 hope you get some answers soon!

    Month/Cycle: 25/benched

    CD/DPO: 15/2 I think

    Timing:

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: not

R/R: Starting off the new year on a good note. Took the day to relax yesterday, but ready to get back into our routine. Started paleo about a week ago and already seeing good results. Hitting up Costco for acceptable foods at some point today.

CS/Q: I think this is an anno cycle. I don’t really know what’s up.

  • @b_1029 to start I’ve just been eating the basics, meats, veggies, some fruits and nuts and cut out processed foods and grains. I have kept a little dairy in for my coffee and I’ll have some cheese. I asked on the randoms board and some of the ladies gave me good suggestions on cookbooks. I found Danielle Walker (against all grains) on Pinterest/instagram and she has lots of good recipes and ideas, as well as some books on it. I’m glad you were able to enjoy your trip, minus not sleeping.

@dasiy0322 Remind me please when you said your OB would prescribe something to induce AF. I think you said 3 weeks...but that feels like it was a week or two ago. GL!

@kbrown2385 Major props to you for going paleo. Is YH on board? I made one paleo dish once and it turned out surprisingly well. Recipe link in spoiler...not sure if you need new recipies or not, but I thought I’d share!

@b_1029 We pee together? Lol! I want to wait until AF is “supposed” to come, which would be the 9th/10th. I’m so glad you had the best little getaway ever! And lol @ your doggo living his best life. I was talking to my Hindu friend about his religion and I told him that I would like to come back as a house cat/dog in my next life. They are just living the dream, man!

@bluejeanbabi05 I will keep my FX that it’s the infamous implantation dip for you!!

    *eta tag
  • @bluejeanbabi05 I went a little too crazy over the holidays for sure! *tw loss mentioned and it’s long, so I’ll put it in a spoiler*

I did a high protein low carb keto per my ob after my second loss in 2017 and did really well. I lost 61lbs in 6 months and got pregnant. I felt great but once I got pregnant my blood sugars went crazy and I fell off. I ended up with another loss with that pregnancy and emotionally couldn’t get myself back on keto. I was on and off up until Sept ‘18 and had lots of issues with it. I think paleo is just a better fit for me. It’s similar to keto but not as drastic. Sorry for rambling lol.
  • @lillywonderland I’ll take all the recipes, thanks! That looks delicious!

    @inthewoods23 fix for you!
  • @kbrown2385 I've always been super fascinated by the paleo diet and wanted to try.

@b_1029 Glad that you had a nice trip! And that is odd about the temps..

@lillywonderland I totally need to do that too! I'm such a hoarder with things, I can't help it. That's crazy about YH's intuition about this cycle too, you never know...

@bluejeanbabi05 Sorry about the drop, I had a large one on 5DPO and that might have been a secondary estrogen surge. *Could* be implantation dip but not sure since everything I've read says it's a small dip. Keeping FX for you.

@inthewoods23 Wow, that does not sound pleasant. The things we do for TTC!!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: CD 26 / 9 DPO

    Timing: FF says "high"

Typical LP length: 10-12 ish (can't give it up either @lillywonderland!!!)

Testing: Already broke down... too many BFNs  :#

R/R: Hoping work goes by quick today. My temp rose today (which is good since I had two days of a slight drop) but I'm thinking it was because I held it so close to the underside of my tongue. I'm trying to be a SS over here but nothing seems to be coming my way!! So my feeling is that I'm out.

    CS/Q: nope. just WFAF.

    TTC #1: September 2013, BFP 01/01/14, DS 09/14
    TTC #2: October 2018, BFP 02/02/19, EDD 10/14/19

  • @stephanie123456 yeah, while I can’t deny that a small part of me is like “iMpLaNtATiOn!” Most of me is just hoping it goes up tomorrow so it’s not the shortened LP thing. The research on actual implantation dips is so murky. Also 9dpo is still so early! I need a pee buddy too, and we’re at the same dpo. Want to wait til Saturday with me? Lol mostly I need help staying strong 🙃

  • @bluejeanbabi05 the implantation dip gets me every time! I don't have it for all my cycles, but when I do I get super excited but I have to remind myself that my hopes and dreams are different from reality. Damn implantation dips!

Happy New Year everyone! May 2019 be the year we all get our BFP!

@daisy0322 is it normal for you to get long cycles like that? Can you schedule a blood test?
@kbrown2385 it's too early to tell. Plus a lot of your temps are open circles. I would wait a few more days.
@b_1029 Glad you guys and your dog had a fantastic time! Your temps are where they are supposed to be so I wouldn't worry too much
@lillywonderland charts look good! I wish my H would purge like yours! He keeps the most ridiculous things like the box for a vacuum cleaner. That thing can't go back in its original box lol.
@bluejeanbabi05 this is an estrogen dip. I don't even know why they call it "implantation dip" because most of the time, it is just an estrogen surge.
@inthewoods23 I hope this IUI will be working for you! This sucks about the suppositories though. What a pain!

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD/DPO: 20/ 2

Timing: Great for FF but it means nothing for our case

    Typical LP length: 13-15

    Testing: next week.

R/R: I am finally back to doing my workload only at work. Such a nice break after 4 weeks.
I can't wait for the cold to be done. The temperature was negative yesterday. I want warm weather!

CS/Q: I ovulated on 12/31 so I hope this means I ended 2018 on an excellent note.

I'm just here to LOL at @nomangos23. Oh how I've missed you this last week. We've all popped in and out but it's not the same. // re: squeezing sperm out of our SOs... MF has some, *ahem*, performance issues so actually DTD isn't an issue but there are definitely times where I've asked if I can just wring him out like a sponge instead because there's no end in sight. If only it worked like that. Apparently yelling "just give it to me" in the middle of it also doesn't work?

  • @kiki047 LMAO! I would kill to have seen the look on his face!
  • Lurking to lol @nomangos23 and also to check in on how no sugar is going...major withdrawals over here too. A very sweet coworker went to Hawaii over the holidays and practically held me at gunpoint to get me to try these coconut things and the whole time I was choking it down I was like "but what if @nomangos23 finds out??". Lol but at least staying away from the stash of MIL cookies in our house has been a notable accomplishment for me.
  • @jennifer_louise Girl I'm feeing for a fix! If there was a cookie close I'd gobble it up right now. Instead I'm having chicken and wild rice soup and... it's delicious but not a cookie. Hopefully the coconut was only natural sugar and not added. But I didn't see it so it didn't happen :D
  • @nomangos23 he was starting to turn purple because he was concentrating so hard but pretty sure after I said that he was just trying not to kill me :innocent:  then me pointing out that his face was going to get stuck like that also didn't help. It's a wonder he even wants to have sex with me at all. LOL.

@lillywonderland your first chart is so darn pretty. I'm jealous. Also, your SMEPping is like textbook perfect. FX FX!!

  • @lillywonderland yes to a pee party!! See you there! Well....sorta ;) that’s so cute about YH. Hoping it is your cycle as well!

@bluejeanbabi05 I have randomly had those dips around 9dpo which I guess is another estrogen surge. FX it’s implantation!

@inthewoods23 ah man those suppositories sound rough. FX for you!

@stephanie123456 sorry for the BFN! I hope you get good news soon!

@rikiteacup like PP I think / hope Oing on New Year’s Eve is a great sign! What better way to ring in the new year?!

@nomangos23 I should join you in the cutting refined sugar deal. I ate sooooo much crap especially on vacation, and every time I got dessert I was like “well it’s my birthday so”....ummm my bday was one day, not 4 lol. Also, dying at yours & @kiki047 ‘s exchange 🤣

  • @nomangos23 Yay! We can be pee partners! I usually start at 8DPO because I have a ton of Wondfos (I'll probably won't need them anymore if we do IVF) and because I am always soooooooooo hopeful during the TWW and think I am going to be one of the women who get a super early BFP.

@kbrown2385 good luck with the healthy eating...I need to definitely do so as well.
@b_1029 yes I'm back to reality as well, time for me to go back to waking up to work out and break up with holiday cookies
@lillywonderland FX that this is your cycle. I hate that AF seriously doesn't have a set date/time each month to either show up or not. Smdh, such a rude house guest. Testing on dates she's "supposed" to arrive don't help because then you're left thinking, "hmm maybe I O'ed later this cycle".
@inthewoods23 best of luck with the IUI
@nomangos23 yes I think it's performance anxiety issues haha, so God forbid I tell him I'm in my fertile window because then it's like pulling teeth come BD time
bluejeanbabi05 can I join and be your pee buddy too?! I don't want to do it again for days because these BFNs drive me bonkers. Keep each other accountable?

    Month/Cycle: 3/4
    CD/DPO: 26 / ??
    Timing: Not sure
    Typical LP length: 13ish
Testing: Tested yesterday on the 1st and it was a blazing BFN. No sign of the unwelcomed guest that is AF though she is due today.
R/R: All rants! I'm so sad to be back at work like a normal human being! I miss my sweats and dogs already. Also, I just wish AF would show up so I can stop speculating about my O date being later. I'm SS like a maniac and have several theories based on my temp chart haha... I know I'm just being BSC.
CS/Q: I have no idea because my dog decided that my BBT thermometer was her latest toy and destroyed it a few days ago.

  • Woo hoo! I have a pee partner!!!! @rikiteacup

@b_1029 Please yes! Join me in this misery! I'm assuming it gets better after the first few days? This is what motivated me https://pinchofyum.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-sugar-free-january

@marbellie Girl yes, I feel like I need to grieve my time off and my EIGHT DAYS of sweatpants. It was glorious.
  • @stephanie123456 Hooray! Also, I laughed at that GIF use..I need to be cool enough to start using them
  • @lillywonderland thanks, I have one more week until I see my OB about it.

@rikiteacup typically I'm pretty regular give it take a couple days but *****TW I just weaned my son who's a toddler and I've only had 2 periods since he was born. However those two were really regular so that's why this is so wierd*******

@nomangos23 i feel like Im driving everyone around me insane too I've hopped on the TTC crazy train and I can't get off.

@kbrown2385 I need to pick a diet to try. Do you like paleo?

@inthewoods23 I've done progesterone before it is so rough at first I'm sorry! I ended up doing a much bigger dose just orally instead. They made me very dizzy though. I hope things get better love.

.... sorry but Im running into work I'll try to tag more later

Glad to be among others going through similar things, and hoping for great things to come! Seems we are all trying to emerge from the holidays and get back on track with health and routines. Nice work!

Month/Cycle: 1/1 since taking several months off. 2.5 years total.

    CD/DPO: 23/9

    Timing: good

Typical LP length: 11- 14 days

Testing: I started POAS-ing yesterday. Mad at myself for that. Doing lots of squinting and staring at tests, and then lecturing myself about that.

    R/R:

    CS/Q:
  • @daisy0322 I did a paleo style keto (high protein low carb and only ate real foods) about a year and a half ago and was very successful on it. Straight paleo is just like it without having to be so strict with my macros. Plus I can eat more fruits on it. So far so good. I’m only a week in but I’m feeling good and down 4lbs. I know it’s mostly water weight but it’s something. I can’t complain!
