Upcoming Appointments: After Christmas, but I am hoping to get the results of my NIPT this week.
How are you feeling?: Symptoms slowing lessening but still around. Nauseous, tired, sore boobs, no appetite. Makes me feel so happy!!!!
Rants/Raves: 11 Weeks!!!!! I have not made it to 11 weeks in 10 years!!!!!!!!!!!
Questions: Meh
GTKY: Are you done Christmas or Holiday Shopping? I have literally not even started. I have plans for my hubby and a couple more things for my boys, but I have nothing purchased yet. Waiting on ma money!

How are you feeling?:
I started feeling nauseous again last night. Ugh. I am also feeling incredibly anxious for some reason. I tend to be an anxious person about things, and I think the NT U/S coming up and me announcing to the rest of my family is catching up with me. I just pray that everything is okay with baby.
Rants/Raves:
I’ve been edgy lately, so I guess my hormones are shifting again or something because my nausea also came back. I’m also exhausted from taking unisom for like 3 weeks straight and being pregnant. Pregnancy acne is still in full force. A positive is that I did have 6 good days last week, which included eating Mexican food twice and Bojangles once 😂

How are you feeling?: Well, today? Better. This weekend was awful again.
Rants/Raves: Tomorrow is the last day I can order the Big Brother t-shirt and get it in time for the Christmas announcement. I don’t want to buy it until I know we will be announcing.... but I think I’ll need to just bite the bullet. Sigh.
Questions: If NIPT comes back normal, I don’t really need NT scan, right? Or like... if NT scan comes back with increased odds but NIPT is normal, I’m good, right?

I have my NT scan next week. I’m nervous for some reason! I was nervous first u/s too. I just want everything to be okay!

How are you feeling?: more awake lately, thank goodness but still M/S in the morning with nausea but have been much better at keeping lunch and dinner down.
Rants/Raves: I think baby is a girl, we did the Sneakpeek test and it came back as a girl, I won't really be buying anything until confirmed on Ultrasound but it's kinda nice to start thinking of names
Questions: do you guys have any suggestions on how to prepare for the NT? I'm SO NERVOUS!
GTKY: Are you done Christmas or Holiday Shopping? Christmas is easy for us, my family doesn't celebrate it. Hubby and I don't do gifts for each other and his side of the family we do Secret Santa and I got that gift already and already got my friends gifts

How are you feeling?: I just started Diclegis. One moment I’m good, next moment I’m feeding the toilet.
Rants/Raves: Got my NIPT results today, all negative. One baby BOY!

Upcoming appointments: nothing until my ultrasound on dec 28th - I didn’t think I could wait until then to find out if baby was okay (terrified of mmc) so I bought a Doppler and that’s been a good stress relief until then!
How are you feeling? Pregnancy symptom wise I’m good, nausea has been mostly gone for a week or so, occasional heartburn and mild cramping plus some serious food aversions but overall not bad. I do have a terrible cold/developing sinus infection though which has made it a challenging few days.
Rants/raves: I’ll do one of each. Rant is my husband is working 70hr weeks from now until probably mid January which has been tough on our whole family. The paycheques will be nice but it’s been long days for everyone. Rave is that I got my Doppler and have been able to find babies heartbeat no problem every time I check so the relief of hearing a strong heartbeat whenever my anxiety gets bad has been amazing.

Upcoming Appointments: OB appointment on Wednesday and GP on the 27th. Hoping to get my NIPT results back before the end of the week. I really want to buy SO something to announce the sex so I'd like to have the weekend to be able to do that.
How are you feeling?: So so sick. I'm sure it's HG again. The vomiting is increasing and I can't keep anything down. It's only getting worse. But I'm loving it:) Also sore boobs. Emotionally I'm still feeling detached. I'm hoping once the NIPT results and sex come back I might start feeling more involved with baby.
Rants/Raves: I'm still here! This is a big deal for me. I'm not past my last loss milestone yet but I'm starting to feel hopeful.
Questions: For those who have their NIPT results back already, how long did it take?

Rants/Raves: just got my NIPT back all low risk. And negative parvovirus (fifth disease) which we were concerned my flu like illness may have been. And I’m having another boy ❤️❤️❤️

How are you feeling?: My hubs and I were at Disney World all weekend, and I felt pretty good the entire time, save for a little nausea each day around lunch. Crackers and Sprite helped that. Today, though, ugh, nausea city. Thankfully, we'd only planned to stay for a couple hours and that was all I could handle. The monorail ride (riding backwards) back to our car was the worst. But then I was fine on the car ride home. Whaa??
Rants/Raves: I'm so done with crowds and all the inconsiderate people in them. I expect them at Disney, and a holiday week no less, but sheesh were people out of control yesterday.
Questions: How do you get scheduled for an NT or NIPT?! I've been researching to understand what each looks at, and the nurse midwife I saw mentioned both + gave us a brochure, but that was about it. I'm 38 and my sister-in-law has some developmental disabilities, so I'm thinking we should have one/both of those done. Does insurance typically cover them? (I know, I probably need to call. Another rant: Grateful for insurance, but hate calling because they can never tell me if anything is covered.)

Upcoming Appointments: had my NT scan yesterday, so I’ll get my results back from my GP for that. Then I don’t have another appointment until about 18 weeks or so at the hospital. I am going to be a public patient (in Australia we have free health care) and I’m low risk, so I will mostly get seen by midwives (nurses), don’t think I ever see an OB!
How are you feeling?: feeling like I’m starting to get a little more energy... and feeling relieved after seeing a little bub on the ultrasound yesterday.
Rants/Raves: Rant - told my boss today and she was less than impressed. Her words were “I guess we will just deal with that”. Not great words for my first kid.
Questions: anyone hiccuping a lot? Haha

NT scan needs to be done between 11 and 14 weeks (it's an ultrasound + blood test) but the NIPT (just a blood test) can be done anytime after 10 weeks until almost te end if your pregnancy. The NIPT is more accurate but people still pair that with the ultrasound portion of the NT as this can find congenital heart defects which the NIPT doesn't test for. Here if you do the NIPT you generally don't get the NT. I have heard people in the US say the NIPT is around 350$ if not covered by insurance. And if you don't get a referral I think you can just go to a testing facility and request it if you're paying OOP.

How are you feeling?: I’ll have a day where I feel semi-normal and can finally eat real food, and I think morning sickness is finally starting to go away, then the next day I’m back to feeling nauseated and averse to everything. Second trimester is almost here, though, so I’m hopeful. Also very moody.
Rants/Raves: My sister and her family are here for two weeks! I haven’t seen them in over a year because they live in Europe and I do not, so this is an extra-fun Christmas. I told my 5-y.o. niece that she’s going to be a big cousin; she, unfazed, replied that she is already a cousin. Lol.

How are you feeling?: Starting to feel better but still exhausted all the time. Can't wait for Christmas break.

How are you feeling?: Still struggling with sinus issues and occasional headaches. I started bleeding on Sunday evening, so that has put me on edge. I am that much more apprehensive for my Friday appointment. When I called the doctor, they said that if I was miscarrying, there isn't anything they could do, so now I am just stuck waiting.
Rants/Raves: I did have to tell my boss and the office staff I was expecting as I was out suddenly on Monday due to the bleeding and they were super supportive.
Questions: Nothing I can think of.

How are you feeling?: Slowly feeling less nauseous and less exhausted all the time.
