Baby has dropped a bit so now I'm getting massive nerve jolts whenever he squirms. It literally makes me jump it can be so uncomfortable. Definitely entering the "really not fun" stage of later pregnancy.... And I know it will only get more uncomfortable!
Personally I feel like crap and it's all kind of hit me at once (35 weeks now), and I think everything has been made worse overall by not sleeping and feeling hormonal. The combo of night hip/leg/foot pain, complete nasal congestion, reflux, general discomfort, random itchiness and anxiety has led to very little sleep and I'm just exhausted. Knowing the end is close and its almost baby time is the only thing keeping me going. That and basically knowing there's only 2 more weeks of work before maternity leave with the holidays and all.
34 weeks today and I'm soooooo sick of having heartburn! It's so bad half the time that it makes me feel nauseous. And I'm always tired, no matter how much sleep I get. And sooo uncomfortable.
@MrsDho11 I hate poeple too right now. My DH thinks it's hilarious...I told him keep on and he will be on that list soon too. LOL!
Ummmm well, I feel like crap most of the time because most days I have a sudden sugar drop that just literally takes everything I have. Then I just want to sleep the rest of the day. I've been swelling a lot in my lower half and my face. They wanted me to eat Peanut Butter before bed for the last two weeks, and it's made me gain weight so I am finding something else to do with this insulin. It's so hard for me to eat before bed, I'm not hungry! I've never been one to eat when not hungry. My hips and back hurt just about all the time...he's been on my cervix since 26 weeks so I feel like it's just getting worse. I sleep better during the day than at night for some reason.
I'm glad that the homestretch is here....only 26 days left until baby eviction and I am pretty stoked. One more boring Monday, then Christmas Even, NYE, and baby day!

Everything hurts, but baby is super low (finally some relief for these ribs!). A dude at work walked in this morning and told me “that baby is about to fall out of you soon.” This is a man whose second child was born in his car. Tonight is our hospital tour, and my first was born the day after we toured the hospital that time, so anxiety is settling into my brain very well.
I've reached the "I have no more f*cks to give" stage of this pregnancy! Baby has measured appr 3 wks ahead since my ultrasound @ 21 weeks, he's massive... not chunky massive, LOOONG massive. At my last ultrasound on the 3rd, at 35wks 6 days he weighed about 6.6 lbs and the MFM Dr said WOW, I hope you're prepared for lots of stitches! Uh, what?? I wanted to die! This is baby#4, I'm 6 feet tall and DH is 6 foot 1, our first three weighed 8.8, 8.9 and 8.2 lbs and were 19"-21"... on the bigger side but nothing like this guy! No Gestational Diabetes, I've been the same weight for the last two months so it's not me eating excessively... my belly is literally all baby. It's been about a week and a half that my belly dropped, yet I still can't take a deep breath because I feel him in my ribs/ lungs. My legs are swollen to the point I look like an elephant. My lower back aches ALL THE TIME. I can't close my legs all the way and I walk like a penguin because his head is already engaged and pretty much in my vagina. All the pressure has caused horrible hemorrhoids, today I was in tears because it hurt so bad to sit. I've also been dealing with INTENSE itching that has gotten worse these past few weeks. I start scratching then end up covered in hives that are gone almost as quickly as they appear. My first three children were a breeze compared to this little guy... I'm so over being pregnant!
Tuesday I'm scheduled for another ultrasound/ bpp/nst with the MFM Dr, they will be checking again for updated size/ weight of baby. Wednesday I have an appt with my Ob where she's going to review the ultrasound report and decide whether or not she's going to schedule me for a c section. My Ob is not one to perform unnecessary c sections, which is one of the reasons I adore her. She has a very natural and hands off approach to labor... so for her to tell me at last week's appt that she's extremely concerned about the size of baby and the potential of fourth degree tears, stitches and a need for future reconstructive/ restorative surgery for potential urinary/ fecal incontinence is not only out of character for her but cause for concern. As she said, delivering the head is not the issue, but delivering the shoulders is her biggest concern as if they are too large I will either tear or she will have to cut me, also it puts the baby at risk for distress and having interventions to help him come out (risking having his shoulder/ collar bone broken to fit). 😖😱😱😱
She is 75% sure that a csection will be needed, but her final decision will be made Wednesday. A scheduled c section before the end of next week is a very real possibility! STRESSFUL
BTW, first DD was an all natural vaginal delivery, after a short but intense labor... DS water broke and pitocin was administered to bring on contractions, I gave into having an epidural about 3 hours after the pitocin was given, again, vaginal delivery, no issues... second DD started labor naturally, at 5 cm i gave into getting an epidural, another easy and quick vaginal delivery. I've never had any kind of surgery, or been under anesthesia so I am terrified at the thought of a csection!! Not to mention the recovery time while taking care of a newborn and three other children 😕
@quinfam6 I just saw your post and had to reply with my experience! With my last baby I went in for measuring at the fancy ultrasound place the day before I went into labor. Doctor made a HUUUGE deal about her being huge, 9 lb 15 they said. Then in the hospital the next day, another ultrasound as I was laboring said she was going to be 7 lb 15. She was born 8 lb 10 with probably a couple extra ounces of fluids from how much they'd pumped into me. Moral of the story is they are ABSOLUTELY terrible at telling the size before they're born sometimes!
Am I the only one feeling like I can’t breathe?! I’m winded all the time...and so exhausted. Like the dishes are a mission at this point.

I am right there with you @TruStory!!! Our little was in the 42nd percentile for height and weight at the 32 week appointment and she is VERY low! I mean my ob checked me and said she was shocked by how low she is lol. But I still cant seem to catch my breath ever! Or stop getting kicked in the ribs! And sleeping is when it's the worst so i typically get 3 hours a night at this point! Soooooooo ready for her to get here!
Other symptoms include: mega heartburn, back aches, contractions( 5 mins apart for 2 hours then theyll stop for a few hours), lightning crotch, mood swings, and feeling like I'm complaining all the time even though I try not to!
I am 38 weeks today, I cannot walk, baby is super low. I have contractions that start and stop. At night it's the worst due to her movements of her head, I am getting nerve pain, lightning crotch, anal pain. Last night it hurt so bad I was screaming. I hate night time because I don't get to sleep until 1am when she finally settles down.
I have been losing my mucous plug for almost a week, I leak discharge on the daily. I have had diarrhea for two days now, just once a day. I have all the symptoms of impending labor and nothing has happened. I get BH that feel like they are squeezing the life out of me. No painful contractions as of yet. I take naps during the day due to lack of sleep. So there are symptoms and rant. I cannot take this crap anymore!!!
All the usuals; heartburn, edema (can’t even wear my wedding ring anymore) every task involving mobility is more and more difficult; things like stairs, picking things up off the floor, putting socks on, etc.
I had an elderly patient tell me that pregnancy is a preview of aging- you get slower; it’s harder to get up and manage stairs; you get more aches and pains, your ankles and feet are swollen at the end of the day, and you’re more prone to thing likes diabetes and high blood pressure.
My hips have been killing me. I never had this with my other two. With my second, I had pelvic pain but this is right in the hip socket. It started on the right hip but this week the left hip joined in too. By the end of the day I’m completely hobbled any time I get up from a seated position. It’s not my favorite.
2nd pregnancy, 37 w 4 days, getting induced at 39 (due to insulin for my fasting numbers/gestational diabetes). I have been having really bad leg cramps lately along with back pain...and now my groin/crotch hurts...bleh
@snackheart please call your OB and tell them that. I believe there are some things that it could be if it is more than just your belly that is itchy your provider will want to rule out.

You are right—thank you! I actually googled a little last night and apparently the itchy feet can be a sign of cholestasis so I have a call in this morning.
You’d think by my third kid I would know this stuff but this baby has kept me guessing all along...
Glad you are calling! I'm having a baby today because my levels came back too high this morning...cholestasis. the bile acids test, main indicator, can take a week to come back so make sure they test you today!

They did take labs today so I will know soon. Good luck—I hope you have a smooth and easy delivery!
