I super love my H&M maternity skinny jeans, they don't have front pockets but the panel is fabric not stretchy material and they never fall down. My maternity pants from last time have front pockets but always feel like they are slipping down since they have the semi elastic stretchy material.

I just tried to go to DQ to get myself a DQ cupcake for late night tonight and this is the scene I came upon (in spoilers). DH was there last Sunday!! He claims there was no signage but I can’t even believe that.
@thatbaintforbetty I was in the Sept 15 BMB and I don’t remember any drama but I was more of a wallflower there. I’m glad there isn’t much here, otherwise I probably wouldn’t participate
@thatbaintforbetty, don't get me wrong, I don't wear full out pjs in public, and I enjoy dressing up (...which usually involves jeans and a real bra, haha), but it's so much easier to just throw on the sweatpants over my work clothes! I do have an obsession with cute summer dresses, but very few occasions to actually wear them.
We are headed to DH 90 y.o. grandma's tomorrow (she lives 10 hrs away) and have tons of family drama from MIL. Grandma said we could stay at her house (we're only going for 3 days), but MIL and now uncle said we can't and we should stay at MILs. DH was going to cancel the trip but I convinced him we could just get a hotel. I am so tired of MIL's crap. I have no desire to sleep in the same house as the woman who says we're taking all the joy out of her being a grandparent. How about her ruining every visit with snide comments or lamenting at about how this is not how she expected it to be (including at the hospital right after DD was born). Arggg.
The couple sitting behind us at dinner last night bought us dessert. And not just dessert, my FAVORITE. Creme brûlée 😍 I ate the whole thing by myself.
@lilpotatomama That was so sweet of them! Looks delicious.
DH wouldn’t go out to the store and buy me cookies, so I scrounged around and made some chocolate chip cookies. I’m *just* this shy of petty and hormonal enough to ban him from the batch.
Mmm, I love creme brulee! Happy anniversary, @lilpotatomama.
And yep @phoenix92885, without fail, if I close and lock the bathroom door, DS is instantly banging on it and saying he has to pee. Yet if DH goes in there, not a peep...
@lin0442, It probably does makes me petty, but I totally would ban my DH also . Also, now I want cookies.
Late to the party. But I’m a jeans girl also. Jeans + silk button down or jeans + T-shirt and blazer are basically my work uniforms (when not pregnant). This pregnancy, maternity jeans have felt like torture and I have increasingly been wearing leggings even out in public (something I’m usually firmly against). Can’t wait until April to get back in my normal wardrobe!
@professormama I’ve always worn leggings as pants. Pregnancy is no different! However, I’m very strict about the kind of leggings I wear in public. I only wear thick, high quality ones that I know aren’t see through. I also only wear them with longer shirts that cover in the front and back. I haven’t been a big fan of jeans so far either!
I love jeans, but none of mine fit so have been wearing maternity jeans. So far I like them! The stretchy bits on the sides are my favorite, the ones with belly bands are super comfy but they seem to fall down all the time. Not a problem when I wear my long shirts/dress tops. I've suddenly become super stylish and interested in "cute outfits" too, who is this stranger?!
I HATE leggings, don't know how you all stand them! They itch constantly and give me red skin and they are always super cold, even the thick ones. I work outside a lot so obviously that's no fun in winter. And now my insulated jeans no longer fit so I'm just cold all the time! Sometimes I wear leggings under jeans for extra warmth, though.
Baby isn't even here yet and I can't go to the bathroom alone.
Ah! I love this! My dog just sits outside the door and whines. Or, if I'm in the shower and forget to close the door, she peeks her head into the shower and just looks at me. They're such creepers!
@phoenix92885 I love that pic. With two dogs and two kiddos I rarely ever pee or shower alone lol.
@sheepshepherdess a lot of leggings make me super itchy too, especially when pregnant.
On the sweatpants, I basically only wear my under armour sweats when I’m at home. But I have started wearing them to school drop off because a) I don’t get out of the car and b) I’m just going to change back into them when I get home anyways
These last few weeks Ive just been too busy or sick to remember to check the bump
@lyse01 solidarity sister. The biggest problem is that we are at my parents house. Routine is totally out the window here. Ordinarily I’d just take him on a drive and let him sleep in the car, but my sister took the car with the car seat to a party 🙄
@professormama and @lyse01 It must be the night for kids to raise hell. My ten year old niece decided it was the night to show her butt and not want to go to bed for her Mimi. I had to step in and end freaking world war 3 a few minutes ago between the two of them. Oh how I'm glad to be able to make the rules and routine for my baby on the way. I love my niece to death but it's so hard to give her the discipline she needs when so many people have their hand in raising her.
@lilpotatomama you inspired me! Boxed up a lot of clothes that I won’t be wearing for a while and freed up run and hangers for all the new maternity wear (thanks mom and sister). Glad to have order restored to my closet!
@professormama@phoenix92885 the problem here is that we were at grandma’s the night before and I didn’t get her to bed til 9:45. Woke up late, napped late, and now need to exhaust her today to try to get her back on the normal schedule.
Meanwhile, I am going to be no help because I am eating Christmas cookies by the dozen at 4 am while up to pee, so sugar rush will keep me awake just long enough to be falling asleep when DD wakes up.
@lyse01 haha ok we are in the same situation here. All schedules go out the window at grandmas house. And I keep eating chocolate almond Hershey’s kisses. So glad we are heading home tonight.
@lilpotatomama That was so sweet of them! Looks delicious.

DH ate a piece of chocolate fudge that someone gave us. I got mad and banned him from the chocolate fudge but told him he could eat the peanut butter fudge.
Hello Ladies! I suck at checking in over the weekend.
Living in Orlando during Christmas time is AMAZING. All the theme parks had special stuff going on and its so much fun. DD is finally at an age that she likes shows (short kid related ones lol) but it so cute to watch her get into it.
Also Kegels!
