I had a really strange dream the other night. I don't remember a ton of details. But I was lured back to an apartment by a goddess (like an actual goddess, she wasn't just gorgeous lol I had some sort of weird mythology dream) and my boyfriend (?🤷) Followed me there and I and several other people were held hostage by the goddess and she started this strange ritual for us all to marry her. My boyfriend tried to save me but he got captured too. And then I woke up 😂
I had a super weird/good? dream about my son's dad and step mom picking up my son for a visit last night. It was a super night day so we were put on the deck and apparently had a lot of land for the kids to run around. So they pull up and Emily (step mom) and I are doing the parent turnover while Jason(dad) runs off into the yard to play with my son, my husband and a bunch of other kids (I'm assuming they are our kids because this seemed to be in the future). Everything was so nice. Emily was telling me about buying a new minivan which was apparently a fiasco to drive a boy, whose name I didn't get, and Rita a little girl plus their daughter Nora. Then randomly at the end when we're rounding the kids up to get in their car my uncle comes driving up in his work van announces he has to pee and runs into my house. Super random because he lives about 2,000 miles away. Then I woke up. It was so nice because my son's dad and his wife only moved back to WA in July after his dad left when he was 10 days old and then immediately his dad had a deployment. My son's only recently started going to their house for alone visits and it's still really hard for him. He crus a lot when they leave and yells mommy, you came back!! When I get him (breaks my heart). I hope someday we are actually on this level of coparenting❤️❤️❤️
@mrskoz428 thanks! I hope as time goes by it will be better. Right now it's sooo hard for me to leave him with his Dad when he's sobbing he doesn't want to go and he wants Mommy or Steven, my husband who has raised him from 8ish months old.
I had my first real “pregnancy dream” last night and it sure was bizarre. I had a baby girl at 20 weeks, but she was perfectly healthy and weighed 8 lbs. However, because she was early, we were completely unprepared and didn’t have anything. I couldn’t figure out how to breast and get the breastpump working. I was calling out to work but only for the one day because "i felt fine" but I needed to take the time to figure out how to feed the baby?? And apparently we were in my childhood bedroom at my parent’s house.
@lappymom2019 oh, I am nowhere near ready prep wise, but cutting this roller coaster in half seems nice! 8 weeks of nausea instead of 16, 2 weeks of swollen everything instead of 6. Lol!
I dreamt last night that there were pee sticks that told you the sex of your unborn baby. I peed on about 50 of them and all but one said "it's a girl" in bright pink lettering.
The other night I had a dream that some crazy people were trying to frame me for murder, but I wasn't reality me, I was like in my early 20's and living in a townhouse with roommates (which I've never done in real life). The people trying to frame me broke into my house and stole a bunch of my stuff and left it all over a crime scene. They also stole my duvet cover, which I think snuck into the dream because we've been living with a naked comforter for weeks and I finally ordered a duvet cover this week. Ha. I woke up before I saw the outcome of their efforts, but I think I had a renegade cop on my side. It's like the plot of a bad made for TV movie.
I had a dream last night that I delivered my baby boy. But that I was actually carrying 4 more. It's funny because when I first found out I was pregnant, my son kept telling me there were 5 babies in my belly. I guess that stuck 😂
I had a dream last night that my SO and I were staying in a large highrise hotel near the ocean. Out of nowhere, there was like a giant tsunami and nobody had time to evacuate (it seemed like some sort of apocalyptic event). The giant wave hit the building and immediately knocked it over and we were sure it would collapse and we'd be crushed, but somehow we weren't and the building wasn't even flooded, so then we were just trying to live and survive in this crazy sideways-lying hotel building. It was very Poseidon Adventure.
I had a “50 Shades of Grey” inspired sex dream last night. I mean, it was constant and I was initiating, which is rare! I blame all the sex talk in randoms! 😂😂
I had an awful nightmare last night. I was being chased by this serial killer and every time I thought i was safe he would pop up again. Ugh why are pregnancy dreams so realistic!
One was that I went into labor, and I refused to believe it was real labor again (because I didn't have any back labor like last time, so of course it wasn't labor yet, duh!), so DH had to deliver the baby in our bedroom. We called the OB and she was telling us we had to get to the hospital before the end of the day. It was evening and we still hadn't gone. I told DH we needed to go to the hospital and he was like, "but everyone is fine. Do we really need to go?" And I was like "We don't even know how much this baby weighs! We need to go!" And I was also doing a horrible job of nursing her regularly, and kept forgetting to do it. In reality if we were even close to a home delivery DH would call an ambulance immediately, and nursing frequently enough is a HUGE concern for me. This dream was so strange and so not realistic.
Another one was we were heading to the airport and we met another family who also had a toddler. My parents were with us and the grandmother in the other family was Constance Shulman (from Orange is the New Black and the voice of Patty Mayonnaise). So Constance was saying it would be so fun to switch granddaughters and they would take DD to Kauai for two weeks with them. And I was like "uhhh, I don't know about that." And then the next thing I knew, my mom had their granddaughter and DD and this other family with Constance were gone! I ran all over the airport trying to find them, and headed to the gates where flights were going to Hawaii. My family, including DH, didn't think this was a big deal so no one was helping me try to get DD back. I finally started yelling for help and some airport employees were going to help me find them. And then I woke up and had to pee. So of course I had to check DD on the monitor and make sure she was still in her crib. She was. Whew. But that really makes me think about how once you're through security, no one questions you when you're traveling with a small child, and that's kind of disconcerting.
My SSRI medication has given me weird dreams for years, so I don't even associate my weird dreams with pregnancy as much, but I will say that I dream about individual members of this BMB showing up in my real life. It's crazy and I am pretty sure that it's b/c I read the board right before bed. The way you look in my dreams are probably 100% off too which makes it even weirder. Last night, there was a group of us gossipping about how DH doesn't like my BIL and BIL overheard us- which isn't weird in itself- what was weird is that each of you guys look like a person from the movie Clueless. @eatinwatermelonseeds you were Cher, @mrskoz428 you were Tai, @DuchessOfCambridge you were Dionne and then Amber was like a mix of 4 or 5 members of this board. So freaking bizarre.

And actually I think she looked very similar to a picture I've seen of her 😂 I dreamt of my last board all the time too.

Last night I had a dream that we went to buy our new minivan. We are going to a dealership across the bay (and a bridge). There was a huge fire and also a flood apparently and we were stuck over there, and had to spend the night. People were trying to drive away in the flood waters and some died. The dealer was apparently having their holiday party that night and for some reason also had dorms so we stayed there and ate their party food. In the morning I told them they better give us a huge discount on our van (as if they could control the fire and the flooding). You can’t make this sh** up 😂😂 so weird.
Last night I had a super vivid dream that this very sweet old man I know from work (he is one of our biggest donors and is a major influence on our organization) came into the office and starting firing everyone. Some of my coworkers were so shocked and upset that they started jumping out of our windows! WTF! It was incredibly disturbing. He offered me an unpaid internship at his company but I had to refuse, telling him daycare was expensive and that I needed income. My boss was sad to leave, even though she said (in the dream) that she was close to retirement. She gave me this red watering can from her office, which does not exist in real life, saying that someone had to take it and she wanted me to have it.
I do remember though feeling somewhat relieved that I could leave my job and look at options closer to my house. Right now I am gone from 7am-5/5:30pm Monday-Friday. My commute really makes my day suck, but otherwise I do love my job so it would be hard to say goodbye to it.

Well, I had my first dream about having a girl. She had the sweetest profile at the ultrasound (in my dream) and when birthed, ended up being Snow White. 🤷🏽♀️ Um, sure.
Omg this week I had a sex dream involving not one but three dudes I went to high school with (at the same time). I wasn’t doing any work in this dream so at least there’s that? But ew ew ew.
And last night I dreamt I had to find this guy I dated in college and told him this baby was his and I’m keeping it. And apparently I had to rule out 3 other guys I dated in college as the father?! Why is dream me so slutty?! 😣
Before pregnancy ive always had crazy dreams. But with both my kids are just included in them now. Its always about the end of the world and we have to run for shelter. My 2 most terrifying nightmares have been about miscarrying. Woke up crying.
@kweenniie *TW* I had a dream in the hospital that when I went for the anatomy scan, they found that the baby had stopped growing at 15 weeks. I woke up crying. *TW* Thankful that that dream has not happened again.
Reviving this thread to talk about the dream I had last night:
I dreamt this baby was born, and somehow my high school boyfriend and his parents had custody (?!). So I was in mediation/negotiations with them to try to get my baby to be able to come home with me, DH was nowhere to be found, but MIL showed up with a lawyer as I was trying to explain to those people that the baby was not related to them! They named him Dylan.
@mrskoz428 Yeah, apparently I had been MIA for a month for some reason and they had been raising him in the mean time. I was like "listen, I haven't seen or spoken to your son in over a decade, this baby is not your grandchild!" and Mrs. Smith (my ex-boyfriend's mom) was snuggling the baby all weepy, and Mr. Smith was pacing around grumpily mumbling "well I guess we'll just have to get a dog..." and the lawyer was like "sounds like we just need a classic paternity test" and I was like "yep, great, let's do it, how fast can it be done?" And my HS boyfriend was like "I'm not paying for that" and I was like "I'll pay! How much does it cost?" And MIL chimed in "I'll pay, I insist, I'm rich!" (🤨). And I was trying to figure out how to get them to let me take the baby home with me while at the same time let them down gently that I was definitely changing his name.
