Maggie the dog was amaciated when we adopted her 6 years ago. She gained 15lbs after this. I can’t find a good current pic.
Nico the cat is an outdoor cat unless the air quality is super bad like it was earlier this month. He goes on long walks and hikes with us. Loves cuddles.
Nico in the house noticed our bird lemon. Who is not tamed and refuses to but has fallen in love with our dog and squawks when the dog is outside.
We we also have fish and tree frogs that I’m raising for a herpatology lab for our local outdoor ed school.
My babies ❤️ Angelus is the cat, but we usually just call him kitty or Kiki. He belonged to my grandfather until he passed away and now he sort of belongs to everyone. He likes to go into our neighbor’s homes and pretend like we starve him so they give him more food. Haha. Nestle is my 8 year old puppy. He’s a sneaky little brat who steals things, but he’s adorable so nobody can stay mad for more than 5 seconds.
From the top: our mastiff/heeler cross Bella (2), our rotty/beagle cross (yes you read that right haha) Toby (2), Houdini our one eared rescue and clearly the grouchiest old man ever lol, and then Daisy 💙
Phoebe, three year old lab/vizsla mix. A very needy and spastic dog, but we love her, and she’s extremely good with 19mo DD. Lets her sit on her and smack her (though we are working on gentle touches), and it took a solid year but she’s finally seemingly reconciled to being relegated to the background most of the time. She gets her snuggles after bedtime. I don’t know how she’s going to react to ANOTHER ugly bald puppy. 😂
Siren is our cat and he likes to watch me while I'm on the toilet. Khaleesi is our husky. Shes crazy but is super sweet. The cat tolerates her.....sometimes.
Gemma is a pit mix and an absolute love bug. I can't seem to convince her that she's too big to be a lap dog. We adopted her as a puppy last fall after we (finally) bought our first home (because is a house really a home without a pet?).
We adopted Bree about 6 months later, after keeping my grandparents' dog for them for a few months because we realized what a difference it made in Gemma to have another pup to play with. She's a boxer/pug mix and her actual name is Brief (because DH thinks he's funny... she looks like a miniature boxer, so she's a boxer brief). She's basically the most annoying dog in the world (or maybe the pregnancy hormones are making me less tolerant of her antics) but I tolerate her for Gemma and DH's sake. Both dogs are great with my 3 year old.
This is Sunny, he's a Chihuahua Jack Russell mix (maybe?). He's ancient at 13 y/o! People say he's a little rough on the eyes, but he's always been the cutest to me. I rescued him at a very young age and he's been by my side ever since!
My pregnant emotional self can’t handle this! All the cute fur babies😭 DH and I rent currently, so we cannot have pets. But I love dogs!! So here are pictures of my family’s pets. Axle is a pit bull-vizsla mix. He thinks he is a lap dog, will only sit on carpets or rugs, is afraid of the dark, and loves to sleep under the blankets. He’s an absolute angel❤️ Emi is a golden doodle. She was adopted to be an emotional support animal for my younger sister. She spastic and a total goofball, but so very loving. I cant wait til summer when we start looking for a house and I can finally get my own little fur babe!
Daenerys is my skin baby. She is a ball of crazy & sweet & weirdness. When I'm feeling down she's always the first one to come love on me & try to cheer me up by doing something ridiculous. She is also MY kitty through & through. She sleeps in my arms every night. She is three years old.
Katie is our rescue weirdo. Her tongue is out all the time. She is a big kitty, 20 lbs but not terribly obese...just a big kitty. She's the one is obsessed with me when I'm pregnant but otherwise she is mostly in love with DH. She is seven, almost eight.
Frumpkin was a feral kitten that I caught on our porch in July. She's wild and hilarious and so fluffy. She's such a love bug, she went from completely feral to loving & purring constantly in just a few days. DD is obsessed with her & she's very patient and sweet with DD.
I love them all, they're all amazing, and they're all assholes. Cats are the best.
Baya is out English Setter. She’s spoiled and does what she wants. She was born to hunt but was diagnosed with Addisons disease as a pup which derailed her training. So now she stalks birds and butterfly’s in the yard and gets rid of our moles. Hollister is my parents golden retriever who has been living with us for 6 months while they sell their house/move. He’s the biggest baby and not the brightest lol but we still love him
My two pit-mixes Floyd (solid black) and Judy (white merle), and my tabby rescue Moo. Floyd just turned 6, Moo is about to turn 5, and Judy is 2.5
Floyd is my anxious "stay calm" dog - he isn't happy unless he's near you, being allowed to lick you, or being petted. He's truly a giant baby.
Judy takes after her namesake Judy Garland - she sings! She's spunky and sassy and will bay/howl/bark at you if she isn't getting enough attention
Moo is......she's mine lol. My late husband got her and after almost 5 years she's down to hating everyone but me, the dogs, and DH. We call her Moo because her meows sound like a cow!
This is my furry mutt Leo. He's 7 and has anxiety, but is now on puppy Prozac so it's been better, haha. He's not super sweet to DS, but he tolerates him (even when DS was a baby and pulling his fur all the time). Believe it or not, his mom was a beagle.
This is Ruger. Not sure what breed he is, but we think he could have some Jack Russell and Australian Shepherd in him. DH found him as a puppy a few years ago when he went deer hunting. He didn't get a deer, but brought home a puppy instead!

This is Poe, a 3 year old tortie. She’s teeny tiny and is obsessed with DH.
This is Patricia, a 1 year old tortie. We don’t even call her Patricia, though. We just call her fat girl. She’s HUGE.

DD born: 3/31/19
Sadie is all mine. She’s 10 years and she’s my baby and can do no wrong. She’s getting old and cranky. She prefers to spend her days sleeping.
Misha is our husky. She’s 6 years old and sassy but so sweet.
