@inthewoods23 Thanks for your kind words! It means a lot. It's weird how talking about things that happen to women's bodies isn't normalized in society, and so I'm glad to hear this is somewhere supportive to talk about such things--and not feel like I'm being a burden or Debbie Downer or TMI or whatevs.
I like fill-ins too! I have a "variety puzzles" book I bought for myself recently & I think I'm going to subscribe? I think my favorite are the fill-ins and the cryptograms and the cryptoquotes. I can get into a crossword puzzle, too, but I get annoyed when the clues are too specific and you either know it or you don't. Like, "He won the PGA in 1995 and 1996" and I'm like "I barely know PGA means golf let alone golfers' names from the 1990s!!!" ::throws crossword puzzle across room::
@kagesstarshroom@inthewoods23 I thought I was single-handedly keeping the puzzle book industry in business but apparently I was wrong. I always buy the Penny Press variety books and love Places, Please the best!
How many months have you been TTC?: since July 2018, so 4 months. I conceived immediately in July but miscarried at 6 weeks in September. This is our first cycle TTC again
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Temping, OPK, timed intercourse, charting with Fertility Friend. Ovulated last week so currently trying to get through the TWW and hoping for a wonderful BFP Christmas gift. Currently living in these ridiculous fuzzy socks I found and eating all the warm foods because I read that helps with implantation.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I'm a library media specialist at a small, rural K-8 school in Alabama. I've been married to DH for almost 5 years. I have a precious 9 year-old daughter from my previous marriage. This will be my DH's first baby. We enjoy traveling, watching my daughter play travel softball and spending time outdoors with our puppies. We have a 9 month old lab and a year and half old Boston terrier.
Thankful for all the knowledge you ladies have and looking forward to participating in the boards.
@kagesstarshroom same about the crossword! When we used to get the paper I would do as much of the crossword puzzle as I could. Some days I barely made a dent, a few times I had most of the crossword completed, and on the rare occasion I did complete the whole thing!
