Oh man, this nausea.... still kicking my butt. I’m already tired of throwing up. When I’m not getting sick, I’m in a sleep coma. This will be a long 9 months! 😅
So much indigestion. Now spotting this morning after sex and again after BM. I had spotting with my last pregnancy too, but it still makes me just as worried as it did the first time. 😏
Soooo nauseous!! Nauseous in the middle of the night, early in the morning, mid afternoon - literally all day. No puking, just constantly queasy. My breasts are incredibly tender too and I’ve been having a difficult time sleeping because of it. I’m so exhausted and can fall asleep quickly, but it’s really difficul for me to find a comfortable enough position to stay asleep. Anyone else struggling with this / found any remedies?
Tired and emotional. Surprisingly my appetite is extremely low. I still make myself eat, I'm not nauseated. But I'm ALWAYS hungry, even not pregnant, so I'm surprised.
Third time mama here, and I haven't dealt with nausea with either of my previous pregnancies (all the sympathy goes out to you who do!). However, I am remembering that I was stuck in the bathroom for *ahem* other... issues... and that has returned. For someone who hides bathroom habits from their husband, it can get pretty tricky!
I need a new, more powerful word for tired. I slept all day yesterday. Napped on the sofa while my son played, napped with my son, I was so sad when it was time to wake up.
@mamanbebe I imagine he knows, but I don't see us being 'to that level.' I frequently use hotel lobby bathrooms and what not when we are in close quarters!
The exhaustion is real today. Napped on the car ride home today and then again at my in laws house because my youngest was sleeping when we got there to pick the boys up.
@nerdtoyourmother That sounds exhausting. I figure if my husband is comfortable and rude enough to pass gas in the kitchen while I'm cooking, he can deal with whatever my body does while I'm building a human. (He thinks he's funny. 😑)
@NicholeL16 How about "consumed?" That's what I always feel like, the baby sucking the life out of me, haha.
@thebabynumberone With my first pregnancy, I took prenatals in the AM and it made me so nauseous. I started taking them at night and it made a world of difference.
@nerdtoyourmother props for not doing your business in front of your DH. I farted in front of DH 2 weeks into our dating life. He needed to know what he was getting himself into. Now I poop/pee with the door open. Don’t care. I’m a mom, everyone comes and visits me while I’m pooping. DH, The animals, the baby... it’s great! Haha!
+1 for exhaustion. I’m hungry all the time, but sometimes when I go to eat something I feel queasy... never really got the morning sickness with DD, so this may be the closest I come to it.
The sore, swollen bewbs and THE GAS have hit me HARD today. On Saturday it was the exhaustion but that wasn't so bad today. Pangs of nausea, but I'm at just over 6w so I think that's on the docket in my near future.
@scp2585 OMG, THE GAS! I had such severe gas pains at work that I thought I was being stabbed in the uterus. The only upside to the copious amounts of gas I have is that I have someone to blame it on both at home (the dog) and at work (unconscious/sedated ICU patients). As long as it's quiet coming out no one's any the wiser.
I also fell asleep sitting up watching TV yesterday at 8:30PM. I forgot how tired you get early on!
No nausea yet, but I'm only 3w5d. Last time it didn't hit me until 8-9 weeks, but it lasted my whole pregnancy, so that was fun.
Has anyone noticed an increase in cervical mucus? Like every time I wipe I have tons of CM, if I’m working out it’s even more and I’ve had to stop and check to make sure it isn’t blood when I feel the extra moisture. I don’t remember this happening nearly as much with my daughter!
@mrscammack yessss it happened to me a lot for a good solid week between 4-5 weeks pregnant, I was wearing panty liners because it was just too much. Now it's calmed down but still noticeable, and after a while I guess the paranoia has worn down haha. It drove me crazy though
Not feeling much really... I do have more CM/discharge and I'm super super tired all the time. I even had a nap in the afternoon which I never do usually. Boobs still heavy but not sore today. Just the fatigue. Almost done with week 6. Let's see what week 7 has in store!
Planning on seeing the doctor for the US either end of the week (i was asked to come on saturday which I can't make) or next week. Would you'll suggest waiting?
6W here. Still tired all the time, and sore nipples have upgraded to sore breasts. The only nausea I have is in short waves, and usually I can just burp it out Actually, I've been burping a lot... I don't know if it's the hormones or exhaustion or both, but I've been a lot more irritable lately. I also have no sex drive at all. Not that the thought of sex disgusts me, it's just not even on my mind. Fortunately DH understands...
5w 5d and still no symptoms here. Starting to scare me compared to my other pregnancies. Can’t wait to get to my first appt to make sure everything is okay
@bartonolivia Hugs, that anxiety is awful. If it makes you feel better, I was feeling great with my first pregnancy up until week 7 when all my symptoms hit.
Nausea is hitting me hard today. I know part of it is lack of sleep but I'm barely holding on at work.
@foodislove thank you. I know all pregnancies are different but man it just gets to your head! Haha my friend told me her boy she had all the symptoms and with her girl she felt the same way I do, she thought something was wrong because she had no symptoms at all
Wholly nausea batman. I am this close to throwing up, burps and all (sorry if TMI), and I never threw up once my last pregnancy even though I was nauseated daily. Uuuuugh.
@thebabynumberone thanks I’m relieved to hear I’m not alone! It’s just so strange comparing symptoms from my first pregnancy to this one and noticing a bunch of different things I had no idea were normal!
5w3d today. Not a whole lot going on. Some bloating, occasional boob pains, occasional nausea (maybe once or twice a day if any), some heartburn and indigestion at night. I didn’t have many symptoms with my first and maybe it’s jist early but I kind of wish I had more symptoms so I would worry as much. Don’t flame me.
*TW losses mentioned*
History of 5 consecutive losses before my first US so I’m having a rough time fighting off anxiety
7w today. But feel like symptoms are disappearing... is that normal? Still tired and bloated and boobs are heavy but not sore. Aren't I supposed to keep sicker by now? Also is paranoia normal?
@potterbaby27 not everyone gets sicker as pregnancy goes on. Some don’t get sick at all. It’s actually pretty common for symptoms to come and go. It’s definetly a mind game, but what you’re describing all sounds normal
@leendenny Yes, I've had dizziness, lightheadedness, etc. I'm not sure what the source is but I recall having this last pregnancy too.
Morning nausea has arrived. Pretty mild so far. I still made my smoothie because it feels necessary to keep as much healthy eating going as possible, but all I really wanted was a pickle.
I knew it was too good to be true to be feeling so well! Couldn’t even finish my morning coffee today, and have been nauseous on and off all day. Had a baked potato and some crackers with cheese and seems to help some.
I’m not a big breakfast eater, big breakfast eater, but I know that’ll help with the nausea
I think I’m starting to get the beginning of a bump: I’m short and thin, so I always figured I’d show fast. Is it normal for one side of my belly to look a little bigger than the other at this point? Part of me thinks this baby attached itself to the left side of my uterus, but the other part of me is scared it’s another fibroid
I know it's November... but I am freezing all the time!! I think I seem to remember this is pregnancy related? Anyone else? @hestia14 not trying to be rude at all, but baby is soo teeny tiny at this point, you are probably just bloated, which is normal at this stage in pregnancy! I don't know anything about fibroids, but you could always ask your doctor just in case!
Re: Symptoms of the Week 11/19
I don't know if that's a symptom of pregnancy or because of the prenatal vitamins ?
How can I know?
