I'm having the weirdest sensation of deja vu

It always goes like this:

1. People start getting banned

2. Huge board uproar

3. Complaints are sent to the nest/knot/bump

4. Responses are posted, those people get banned

5. Nice Mod comes to the boards to try to clear things up

6. Nice Mod ends up being fired or leaves (Knot Clarissa comes to mind)

7. Huge exodus from boards

8. Things quiet down

9. Board returns to normal

10. Cycle starts again.

Did all this happen in 2005, too? No wonder we get new mods on a semi-regular basis.

It happens every year. It's just the boards that change. Last year I think it was Married Life that it happened to. I can't remember 2006, and 2005 was the great Knot banning that included P&E and AFB.
