2. Previous loss(es)?
-early loss at the beginning of October.
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically?
-Emotionally I'm kind of all over. I posted in the last check in that I'm coming up on a milestone and started having nightmares that we lost this one as well. Literally holidng my breath every time I wipe. Physically I'm tired, bloated, nauseous, and just kind of blah.
4. Any appointment updates?
-Nope. I'll call towards the end of the week/beginning of next week to make my first appt. They should be able to get me in pretty quick.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions?
-I'm super thankful for this board and all the craziness at home with the animals and weather. I've definitely needed the distraction lately. ❤️ ❤️
6. Any milestones coming up?
-Tomorrow I hit 6wk2d. This is when we lost our last pregnancy. I'm hoping I feel a bit of relief afterwards but I know realistically it won't happen till I see the heartbeat and get out of 2nd tri.
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show?
-Um. No Netflix here. Just Amazon prime. We are rewatching the Stargate SG1 series now. I also like Bones, Vikings, House, The Closer, Grimm. I suck at keeping up with most current shows though.

1. How many weeks are you? 5 weeks today.
2. Previous loss(es)? MMC in August... Growth stopped around 10 weeks and we found out at 11.
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? I've only told one friend so far about this pregnancy, because she just had her rainbow baby in August. The other day, I sent her a text that I didn't know it was possible to feel terrified and relieved and anxious and thrilled all at the same time. So that's where I am, emotionally. Physically, I'm feeling good, aside from being super tired and insatiably hungry, but that's how I felt with my first (my 2.5 yr old DD), so I am reassured by that.
4. Any appointment updates? I haven't even called a doctor yet. I'm thinking of switching providers (and I should really make up my mind). But I haven't really been in a rush. I feel like I'm just going to wait forever for an appt anyway (I did last time), so I'm trying to pace myself, I guess.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant. I'm a teacher, and this last full week before Thanksgiving is always an eternity long. Rave. I'm having lunch with my bff who I haven't seen in forever on Friday. Question. Like I mentioned, I'm thinking of switching doctors. What do you look for in an OB? What questions should I ask? What would you consider a deal-breaker?
6. Any milestones coming up? No. I don't feel like I'm going to be able to relax until I get past when the loss was the last time (which is right around Christmas), and even then, I know I won't be in the clear, so...
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? Stranger Things, for sure, but we watch a bunch of the binge-able ones, like Orange is the New Black and 13 Reasons Why...
2. Previous loss(es)? One in August
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Still very nervous and angry that I'm too nervous to feel excited yet. I'm already feeling more symptoms than I did last time so I'm taking that as a good sign?
4. Any appointment updates? Got an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow. Hoping to get a better idea of the viability of this one and maybe feeling a bit relieved if everything goes well?
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm on the hunt for a new OB, my GYN was an OB but she let her license lapse and also I moved to a new city about 20 minutes from where I used to live. There are 3 options near me but 2 of them seem great but on their websites they both advertise a partnership with "a Medical Spa" that offers cosmetic surgery (botox, vaginoplasty, etc.) and that just...doesn't sit right with me. Anyone else?
6. Any milestones coming up? I think this was around the time we had our earlier loss so getting past this week might make me feel a little less nervous.
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? The Crown
2. Previous loss(es)? One last November. I found out I was pregnant on the 7th Nov 2017 and miscarried on 30 th November. It took us literally a year of trying to get pregnant again, and here I am.
My MC was a blighted ovum, basically a sac grew but a baby did not develop, my body was playing games.
How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? So worried but feeling symptoms so something is definitely happening inside my body, I just hope it's not going to be a "fake" pregnancy. Once we reach the 8 week mark and then see the baby in a scan I will feel relief.
4. Any appointment updates?
First appointment booked for Friday 23rd november. I will hopefully be 6 weeks 2 days by then. Last time we found out I was expecting we went to our Dr straight away, this time want to slow down the process
5. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Just hating the checking in the loo, I have CM daily so it is making me paranoid.
6. Any milestones coming up?
Not yet
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show?
Breaking Bad
2. Previous loss(es)? Feb/March 2018
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Still very cautious/nervous, even after seeing the heartbeat the other day. Physically I feel normal other than battling a nasty cough. No nausea yet!
4. Any appointment updates? Saw and heard the heartbeat 💗 beating at a beautiful 114bpm. Best sound ever!
5. Rants/Raves/Questions?
6. Any milestones coming up? Next sono is in 3 weeks!! Ahh!! Hopefully I’ll “graduate” from the fertility clinic then and can stop PIO!
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? Arrested Development is always a go-to for me
2. Previous loss(es)? One in September
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Up and down. I’m going to ask my midwife for an early scan to hopefully ease my mind a bit. I’ve read some things about pregesterone just delaying the inevitable and that’s upsetting.
4. Any appointment updates? Not for another month.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? I need new leggings, I’ve worn a holes in mine. I’m loving this cold weather.
6. Any milestones coming up? I have already made it father this time than with my loss so just waiting on my first appointment now.
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? Bloodline, OITNB, House of Cards, and The Ranch.
4w5d
2. Previous loss(es)?
4 in the past year. 9 week MMC, 2 CP, 14 week MMC
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically?
Still no physical symptoms besides tired and insomnia. I know it's still early but it makes me nervous. Emotionally I'm just kind of in denial still and feel pretty detached. I have an u/s scheduled for 11/28 and I'm terrified for that since they usually bring bad news. Every day that passes I feel like I have more to lose.
4. Any appointment updates?
2nd beta was yesterday, HCG was 1160, up from 627 which is a 54 hour doubling time. Doesn't really give me any reassurance since I've had good betas before and still lost the baby. I was given the option to get more betas but I said no. I also met with a new OB yesterday, she only sees patients who have had a loss and we decided that if the first u/s goes well I'll do weekly ultrasounds through the end of December to ease my mind. As scary as they are I just can't go weeks without knowing if my baby is okay or not.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Just glad to have an OB who is really on my side and willing to do whatever I need to ease my anxieties. They are willing to give me as many scans as I want and will address any and all concerns that I have along the way. It's just a relief that I don't feel like I have to fight my doctors to get the care that I need. I've heard too many stories about women being falsely reassured by their doctors when their instincts are saying something is wrong and I'm glad I don't have to worry about that or to feel like a nuisance if I call about every twinge.
6. Any milestones coming up?
No. And with a history of missed miscarriage there is no milestone that will give me any reassurance. Just want to fast forward to 2nd tri.
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show?
Stranger Things, and I also really liked Haunting of Hill House.

@coco2787 I'm with you on the "no milestones" thing. I think at this point the only thing that would reassure me would be the anatomy scan as I have not made it that far since I was pregnant with my now 9yr old son. Getting out of the 1st tri might help, I haven't made it that far in 9 years either.
@coco2787 I'm looking for a new doctor and one of the things I want to ask is if I can get extra scans. Having been through a MMC as well, I hear you on not wanting to go too long without knowing. I'm glad you found a great OB. Also... H and I loved Haunting of Hill House!
, 💙💙💙💙💙💙
I'm sorry you've had to deal with MMCs as well. I hate feeling like there is no safe zone. I'm glad you have a great doctor though! We just started with a RE today so we'll be getting scans every 2 weeks until the end if first tri and the started me on progesterone suppositories today too.
@CatWaffles I'm so glad you had a good appointment!
@autumnlemon I really hope you can find a doctor willing to work with you to ease your anxieties.

October 2011 - DS (7)
July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)
August 2015 - DD (3)
April 2018 - 5 week loss
2. Previous loss(es)? 10 weeks back in 2010, 24 weeks in 2014, and 5 weeks earlier this year
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Physically I feel pretty normal. Emotionally, it's up and down. Sometimes I panic. Sometimes I'm able to ignore all emotions. Occasionally I feel good about things.
4. Any appointment updates? First appointment is 11/30.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really. I'm just trying to pass the days until my appointment to see if there's even anything growing in there.
6. Any milestones coming up? Technically I'm past my last loss I suppose. While I hadn't started bleeding yet with my last loss by this point in time, my hpts had lightened and my betas were dropping. There's no sign of that yet this time, so I'll call that win so far. Passing milestones is nice but once you're in the 1%, you kind of stop caring about stats and just remain forever cautious and pessimistic.
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? I actually don't ever watch tv, so I'm not even sure what's on Netflix these days aside from Bunk'd, which is what my 7 year old can't get enough of this week. It's safe to say I can call that one NOT my favorite Netflix show.
October 2011 - DS (7)
July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)
August 2015 - DD (3)
April 2018 - 5 week loss
Had my ultrasound on Thursday (and did another blood test yesterday) and the tech said "it's very early but I'm seeing what I'm supposed to be seeing." And then we left.
I wasn't sure how to feel but I think it's because of my doctor- she's a GYN not an OB so the ultrasounds and tests she orders are for viability not really for the "health of my pregnancy." I'm in the process of picking an OB so I can get in and have a more "proper" appointment to really ease my mind.
I keep obsessively checking my patient portal today, looking for the hcg blood test results to ensure my levels have gone up since the first one.
PGAL brain blows.
AFM:
How many weeks are you? 7
2. Previous loss(es)? I’ve been pregnant 10 times I think? I stopped keeping track for my own sanity. 7 m/c. And lost DS1 when he was 2.5.
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Emotionally, fine. Still intentionally not getting attached. Physically, awful. I can’t eat, I’m exhausted.
4. Any appointment updates? I go tomorrow for an u/s and I’m real nervous.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? Tomorrow feels like D-day. I’ve lost pregnancies later, but my 7 week scan was when I knew something was wrong. So tomorrow feels like a giant deal.
6. Any milestones coming up? Just the one I shared.
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? Definitely The Crown!

2. Previous loss(es)? This is the 3rd time I’ve been pregnant since July. No losses prior to that and I have 2 living kiddos.
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Physically I had a ton of moderate to even intense cramps today which made me really worried, but so far so good I guess. Emotionally I’m trying to just stay distracted and will the time to move forward.
4. Any appointment updates? Nothing yet, hoping I can get seen early.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing yet really, just struggling with PGAL brain and trying to chill out.
6. Any milestones coming up? Not yet
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? I’m usually way behind on shows, so we just started How to Get Away With Murder and it is sooo good so far!
2. Previous loss(es)? I had a BO at the beginning of year (Feb?) I was 6 or 7 weeks when I went in for an US because of spotting and then didn't end up having a D&C until about 9 weeks because of the repeat US and scheduling.
3. How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? I'm doing okay, really hard to get emotionally connected to this pregnancy and feel "excited"... I'll be relieved after my first US.
4. Any appointment updates? 12/17 is my first appointment with dating ultrasound. Although, I've never made it to the first appointment with any of my pregnancies (DS & DD) because I always spot early.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? Nope, just along for the ride here. Hoping things work out.
6. Any milestones coming up? Not yet
7. GTKY: What is your favorite netflix show? Right now, I'm watching Suits. Although, Grey's has to be my favorite show of all time to watch on Netflix!
