Any appointments? Questions?: No appointments until the end of this month.
Rants/Raves?: Just so thrilled to be in the second trimester!
How are you feeling?: I'm getting over a cold, it sucks not to be able to take most medications but I think it's almost over. Other than that, lots of symptoms have subsided, which is both expected and unsettling.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you? I've never seen snow fall.then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
Due date/W+D: 5/1 14w 6d

Any appointments? Questions?: Nooe! Start every two week u/s next week
Rants/Raves?: Getting excited to start buying baby stuff!
How are you feeling?: I’ve had a headache for about a week and Tylenol is doing nothing. Other than that, symptoms are getting better.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you?I was an active member of the FFA (future farmers of America) throughout high school.
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.

Due date/W+D: 5/3 14w4d
Baby is the size of a(n): peach
Any appointments? Questions?: just had one on Friday, everything was looking good
Rants/Raves?:
How are you feeling?: nausea is finally subsiding except at night, that’s still sticking around
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you? I can’t think of anything good!Baby is the size of: a peach/lemon.
Appointments: We had our 14-week appt on Monday, and everything looked good. My doc is great, but think I’m driving her nuts with my questions. What can I say, I’m a planner!
Rants/raves: I’ve got two of them. I don’t know that I’d call it pregnancy brain - more a function of sleep deprivation - but I keep forgetting basic words. Like, mid-sentence. I haven’t told my coworkers yet, so I end up just talking around the word I’ve lost until someone guesses it. Not a good look. Also. I was so bloated from meds in first trimester. Now that I’ve gone off them, I’ve lost 3 lbs (which was all the weight I’d gained). Doc made a comment in front of DH, who's now acting like an Italian grandmother - if he sees me without food in my hand/mouth, he will fix that. But at a certain point - omg stahp I’m full.
I’m generally feeling good. Nausea has been better most days (although food aversions sometimes catch me off guard), and lower back pain easing up. Only complaint is that I’ve had 3 headaches in the past week. Tylenol also not cutting it - so hydrating and letting myself have a little extra caffeine.
GTKY: maybe not at all surprising, but I’ve already built out a ridiculous spreadsheet related to bebe- tabs for names, nursery ideas, registry items, etc.. I deal with anxiety about the unknown by thinking through every scenario. Controlling what I can, so I can accept what I can’t.
Married and TTC since 6/2016
@mrsdee15 come visit me in February - I can show you all the snowfall you could ever want to experience!
@lizeybee aw, I love hearing stories like yours! The long-hoped for baby, finally on its way. Welcome!
Due date/W+D: May 4, 14w4d
Baby is the size of a(n): I have no idea and I'm too lazy to look it up right now.
Any appointments? Questions?: I think I have an appointment next week? I need to double check. I am the WORST at remembering appointments and it just gets worse during pregnancy.
Rants/Raves?: I am mostly nausea free! It's amazing! With both my daughters, I was so sick all the way through, like, well into the third trimester. I'm still vomiting stomach bile every morning before I eat, but other than that, I'm off diclectin and still feeling good!
How are you feeling?: Oh. See above.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you? I had a summer job at a zoo working in the elephant department once. It was pretty awesome. I got to ride an elephant bareback and everything. (Their hair is really pokey.)
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe
DD2: October 2016
DC3: coming May 2019
Due date/W+D: 14w+5 (today, Wednesday)
Baby is the size of a(n): a maple leaf 🍁
Any appointments? Questions?: no appts until around thanksgiving. I do have a question for slightly bigger busted ladies - I was a B cup prior to pregnancy with DS, and now this time around I’m legit at 34DD or 34E. Anyone with suggestions for bras? We have a VS but I hate going in there and the girls measurements are different every time! It’s never consistent!
Rants/Raves?: starting to finally feel like a human again! Thank goodness!
How are you feeling?: see above.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you? I took my driver’s test in a 1943 Powerwagon tow truck with a 15 foot boom on the back end. 😂 try parallel parking that!Baby is the size of a(n): an orange
Any appointments? Questions?: Next Thursday. Anatomy scan is the appointment after that.
Rants/Raves?:
How are you feeling?: Been super nauseous still. Hoping to feel well long enough to take DS to see the Grinch on Friday.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you? I’m a huge bookworm. I used to get grounded from reading instead of grounded from TV, friends, etc.
This thread is for those due May 1-7
Due date/W+D: 5/5 currently 14w, 3d
Baby is the size of a(n): peach, playing card
Any appointments? Questions?: Next Monday is my Hematology appointment... I'm pretty anxious about what the doctor will say. I don't really think I will get any answers, but also have been holding off announcing at work because of it even though I think people are suspicious. *TW probably* My big fear is that the doc will say that I have cancer and I will have to terminate the pregnancy to treat it...*end TW* If it all comes to that, I definitely won't want to have to explain the whole thing to my coworkers.
Rants/Raves?: I still feel a little weird weird posting on our check-in without zuul =(
How are you feeling?: Exhausted. The exhaustion has come back full-force and I. Cannot. Handle. It.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you?: In the spirit of @MaggieG183's comment, despite practicing in my driveway regularly, I failed parallel parking on my drivers' test (but still passed overall), and haven't attempted it since. It's been 14 years and I have successfully avoided it without much effort.@ashleaf2018 I totally got grounded from reading as as kid too
@mrsdee15 The first snow of winter is always magical. The second and third and fourth and fifth (and twentieth and thirtieth and fortieth) are less charming.
I second the it feels weird posting without zuuls.
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
First Check in for me! Hi I'm Brianna and I've been debating whether to join another BMB since I'm still so close with my first but I figured why not?? So here I am! Looking forward to meeting all of you!
Due date/W+D: 5/4 14 weeks, 5 days
Baby is the size of a(n): Beet
Any appointments? Questions?: next appointment November 28 (ahh seems so far) But we're going into Boston on Sunday to do our gender reveal so that's exciting!
Rants/Raves?: Nothing really except I'm definitely more tired this time around which isn't very convenient with a toddler!
How are you feeling?: Great! The mornings sometimes I'm a little nauseous and dizzy until I eat but overall I'm great. Breaking out a little which I wish would stop!
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you?I got my boating license at 12 and have been on the water ever since! (well before that too
Due date/W+D: may 7th
Baby is the size of a(n): peach/as tall as a crayon today
Any appointments? Questions?: I have a doctors appointment and an elective ultrasound appointment on the 16th! I'll be finding out the sex at the ultrasound and then surprising my husband that night.
Rants/Raves?: loving clementines right now!
How are you feeling?: I've had a headache for about a week straight, so that's been fun. Finally giving in and taking some pain relievers today.
GTKY: What is a surprising but true fact about you? Hm...I can't really think of anything interesting due to this headache, but I'll chime in with the license theme and say that I also have my boating license, although I'm always nervous driving a boat. And I embarrassingly failed the written part of my driver's license 4 times and the actual driving part twice. But it's been ten years and i still havent ever been in an accident.Welcome to the newbies!
@brie_and_almonds I'll be anxiously waiting for an update and am sending good thoughts your way.
Definitely missing and thinking about Zuul as well, it breaks my heart to think about what she must be going through right now.
Just want to say I love you guys. Missing this group so much and crying tears of both sadness and happiness seeing your comments 💗
