Re: Why My Pregnant Self Is Awake Right Now
Also, this is my one day to sleep in as we don’t have school today and my body wakes up at 5:30 as normal. So not fair!

But yes, MOTN feedings were super hard!! I, too, think about the fact that my daughter sleeps through the night and how Im about to give that up. Thankfully, that period does go by fast, though! That's the great part about it.
Second time around, I totally get it. Super excited for the baby, not super excited for lack of sleep. I will say though, I’ve totally romanticized DS’s newbornhood. It was such a difficult time but such a special one and I get so nostalgic about it.
Also I don't understand why this mom can't just treat her kid's hair properly. She insists he's getting it from our school and wants to know what we're doing to stop it and yet not a single other kid or staff member has it.
A few years ago I had a girl in my class aggressively scratching her head, and them raise her hand to announce to all her peers and me that her head was really really itchy... when I asked if she wanted to go to the bathroom or the office to figure it out she said no, and I just sort-of shrugged and said "okay, just try not to scratch it then" and she stayed in class. Later that day the building secretary came around with stacks of lice notes for the kids to take home, and I felt so bad for the girl who had basically announced to her classmates that she had lice.
