With all our hormones and going through the difficulties of pregnancy, it can be easy to get fed-up with our SO. I thought we could use a part 2 to this thread to help us remind ourselves how awesome our SOs really are.
My husband is amazing because he’s making homemade pizza from scratch (with dough he has to make days before hand) for dinner tonight, and he made sure to ask me what kind I want because he knows how important food is to me right now.
My husband is amazing because he took on the majority of the kid issues this weekend so I could enjoy the extra time with my family at my cousin’s wedding. Especially when DS was having a meltdown over not being able to have a Shirley Temple to drink.

DD (14) and DS (11) adopted from US Foster care December 2016 BFP April 24, 2018 | EDD December 29, 2018
He totally cleaned the house yesterday while I was at a baby shower, since we had people coming over that night to hang out.
Lately I've been needing extra time to study for my state licensing exam and he's been keeping DD busy so I can have study time to myself. He's even been doing extra tasks so I can focus. THANK YOU, HUSBAND!
He's been doing extra things (touching me or giving compliments) so I can see that he still finds me attractive even though I'm obviously pregnant and gaining weight. Thanks!
Great topic My hubby is awesome because he truly embraces having equal parenting responsibilities and is even taking on extra to encourage me to rest or be able to eat in peace while pregnant.
My hubby is awesome because he has really stepped up and helped take care of our 3 kids when I have been too tired, nauseous, etc. We have a newly adopted teenage son, my bio son (from my 1st Marriage) and our daughter who's adoption is in the final stages. We are also emergency foster parents so our door is always revolving at odd hours of the day/night. I'm also a full time student in college, he works full time and I work part time I definitely couldn't do it all without him!!
He didn't get irritated when I threw a fit about my missing chocolate when I wanted a S'more. He calmly said he loved me, helped me find it, and didn't joke about it until the next day. It's now referred to as "S'mores level mad." Don't move a pregnant woman's chocolate!

No matter how irrational I may be at any given moment he is clearly pausing thinking and then responding! He has also stepped up with household chores which is awesome.
I was extremely sick and he stepped up for the entire week of me being bedridden. He kept the house clean, made his own meals, and took care of me in the middle of the night even though he gets up at 5 to go to work.
He is worried about me getting pregnancy induced hypertension and pre-eclampsia again so he's buying everything low sodium or no salt. He even found low sodium pickles!
My hubby is so awesome because at our house warming party this weekend we had a dance party and he sang the song dope chick to me in front of our friends . It was really cute. Love that guy
My husband is awesome because he handles Trigger (that's our dog) when he drives me batty now that I'm pregnant. We had him neutered, which calmed him down drastically. He's half Belgian Malinois and half German Sheppard. We knew what we were getting when we adopted him, but he's been "extra" since I got pregnant. We're teaching him manners right now. He's a work in progress.
Bringing this back from the dead because we had the BEST moment this weekend.
On Saturday we went to the farmer's market w/my family. We took a bunch of family pictures & I couldn't help but notice how much rounder my face is. I quietly stewed on it for a while until he asked me what was wrong. Well at that point I totally broke down and just said I don't feel very sexy right now, and it's strange for me to feel that way because I'm usually pretty confident. I know it's for an amazing thing, but everyone wants to feel good about themselves.
He took my face in his hands *ok tearing up again* and thanked me for making the physical sacrifice to bring our baby into this world. He reassured me with "I'll love you no matter what" and let me cry it out until I felt better. THE BEST
My husband is awesome because since I became pregnant he has taken over the majority of the housework without me asking. He has even told me to go sit down when I try to go do dishes or start cleaning on the weekends since I have been working a lot. He has already talked about how when the baby comes that I need to make sure I don’t feel like I need to do everything, which is something I tend to do, especially coming from a family where the men don’t take an active role in the household.
My wedding band cracked and H got it repaired. I had a friend over to help paint the nursery when he came home with my ring. My H got down on one knee and proposed again. In front of my best friend and all
Bc even though I tell him how annoying he is and how smelly he is, he brings me home Popeyes for dinner with extra mashed potatoes and cole slaw. I told him I wasn’t feeling fried chicken at all so he replaced it w french fries instead. He knows the way to my stomach, I mean, my heart.
We bought a new car today, and when he got home, he cleaned out and vacuumed my old car so that we would have two nice cars. Then he brought me a coke home because I've been craving them, and we hung out and played board games after DS went to sleep. It was a great evening!

I thought I should probably post a positive note about hubby, since I revealed him for being such an ass earlier, lol. His friend's wife posted on FB that she had an extra ticket to an Ed Sheeran concert, and in knowing that I love Ed Sheeran, he messaged her right away and called dibs on the ticket for me. He set it up that I'd go with her and everything, so I don't have to drive, and she was totally understanding that I'll have to make several pit stops on the way ( the concert is 2.5 hours away). He knew I'd get along with her because she and I are both introverted bookworms, and have similar mannerisms and hobbies. I thought it was all so thoughtful of him to arrange.
@al_vy hooters is making my mouth water right now.
My husband brought me home Panda Express last night. But that was after he went to his fantasy football draft and left me to deal w the cable installer and the baby and three dogs. So he might not have redeemed himself fully yet.
DH is awesome because he cooks dinner (to the best of his ability lol) when I have late tutoring sessions. He also does a lot of the heavy housework when I’m not able to.
My DH brought me flowers tonight...he is leaving tomorrow for the weekend to go to Vegas for Fantasy Football draft with his friends so I’m solo parenting DD, but the flowers were a nice surprise!
Last night I came home from a pilates class feeling angsty and frustrated because I couldn't do certain moves/exercises like I used to be able to do -- belly now in the way. I have been feeling sooo tired and angsty all week due to stress and lack of sleep. So my wife gets out some lavender essential oil and gives me a neck/chest/head tension massage. Nothing too hard and masseuse-like, just gentle touching with lavender. It was so so so so so amazing and I felt incredible afterward. I like her!

Hubby just took me bra stopping at Motherhood Maternity and hooking me up with 4 bras, a pair of jeans, 6 shirts and a cardigan! Thanks to the in-store sales and my coupons, we only spent $180!!
@klj62212 that is amazing!!!! Everyone keeps telling me Target and Gap but every time I have gone to Destination Maternity I have found amazing deals and tons of coupons.
My hubs is amazing in so many ways but here's what he did most recently: We celebrated our anniversary last week and for a gift he got me a new maternity outfit (my first bit actual cute maternity-wear). He got the sizes perfect (it's hard to find pants that fit me at 5'1") and I cried sooo hard because I thought it was so sweet.
Whenever I get sick, DH is on the ball. He makes chicken soup 100% from scratch, full of chicken and vegetables, and he keeps a steady flow of water coming my way. He'll run a bath, get my dog snuggled in with me, make drug store runs (when I'm not pregnant, haha). I'm really spoiled, but I think it's partially because when I get sick, I get SICK. It can never just be a cold - it always warps into some stupid extreme ailment. He's doing his part to make it as easy on me as he possibly can, and I really can't love him enough for it.
Reviving this thread because DH has been awesome this past week! He has been traveling a lot and it has been stressing me out because it is leaving a lot less time to get our to do list done.
So in the 2 weeks between trips this time he cleaned out the whole office (soon to be nursery) so I can get the carpets cleaned, called about life insurance, got old furniture out of the garage and to the dump, and started cleaning out the garage and basement (this was a to-do item from before baby planning that just kept getting put off).
It is making me really happy that all of this is getting done. And he is doing all of it on his only days off before traveling again. Normally he would be just vegging because he gets no days off while on his trips.
I am really appreciating his effort and I am making an effort of my own to be appreciative because I know (especially now) I can be not the easiest person to live with!
DH had to get up at 4AM this morning to drop his mother off at the airport. He stayed sitting in the parking lot for an hour, playing on his phone, so as not to come home and wake me up (dogs getting excited, etc.). On top of this amazing consideration, he brought me a PSL from Starbucks and woke me up with it! I really really love this man.
My husband has been super sweet and attentive. Making every effort to make sure i feel comfortable and attractive. He does every chore I don't want to do and never complains that I literally never cook anymore.
I was so swollen last night it was ridiculous. DH took one look at my feet and told me to go elevate them asap. He then cleaned up from dinner, dragged all the Halloween bins out of the basement and did up our whole front lawn with the kids, then helped DS carve his pumpkin, and put the kids to bed. This morning he went into work late and took the kids to school for me. I think I'll keep him

DH cooked chili on Sunday for me to have for the week for lunches. He checked that it wasn't spicy because everything he makes is spicy and it tastes normal to him. Also, he works nights so we don't see each other during the week but sometimes I wake him up before I leave by putting my bump right in front of him. He always opens his eyes and says happily "Hi, Baby" or rubs it and goes back to sleep. He doesn't ever complain about me waking him up for no reason
SO managed to find his way into my pregnancy pillow last night sometimes he moves it a tiny bit so we can actually spoon/make contact, but I woke up and he was fully in between me and the other side! Lol as much as it was a literal pain in my hip, it was adorable. I'd like to think the urge to snuggle was really that strong, but realistically I think it's the pillow. He loves it lol
