Re: Deleted

  • I think that I would trust the opinion of a trained US tech over a bunch of strangers on the internet.

  • Hi Mamas!

I had a 15 week ultrasound done and the tech was very vague and told me it was a “boy.”  I am pregnant with my third and already have 2 boys.  This pregnancy has been completely different and I have had a feeling it’s a girl....although I am fine either way!!

I do see boy parts I guess, but also feel like maybe it could be swollen??  I know it is a bit early still, and I feel like I can see three lines.

    Any opinions??  TIA!!!!

Also the the quality of pictures are not great!!!

  • “ I can’t help it if I have a heavy flow and a wide set vagina”

you can can always get a blood test done to confirm.
  • Did the sonographer do air quotes around “boy”, because then I would be skeptical too
Or maybe a really exaggerated wink?

  • Am I the only one not even seeing a picture posted?

Also not sure how the tech could be vague if they said boy, although I think 15 weeks is a bit early to see obvious differences.  Maybe that's why they seemed hesitant, although in that case not sure why they would say anything at all.

  • The tech did not point out any parts...said the legs were crossed and then said it looks like a boy.

@tcooke3885, seems like maybe they shouldn't have said anything if they weren't sure?  Weird.  Every ultrasound I've heard of that tells the sex is done closer to 20 weeks so it's easier to tell.

  • I went on my own to a private place just for gender reveal...but I didn’t feel too confident in the tech.  I am just going to wait until anatomy scan in a few weeks before I tell anyone!
  • @kangstadt technically it against TOU to ask if it's a boy or a girl (similar to TTGP and posting a pregnancy test to ask if it's positive or negative) so the picture may have been deleted.

There was never a picture on this one. I saw it when it was first posted.
  • I dunno - I was the first one to comment and I thankfully never saw one. Posting "potty shots" (gag) skeeves me out.

  • Then I'm glad one was never posted!
  • @tcooke3885 we don't DD around here, and you were already QFP'd.

I saw that coming a mile away.
