The every two week appointments start now. I have a regular OB visit 30 weeks on Thurs and PT for my hip on Thurs too. It seems like all this is moving really fast now.
I have my GT test this week. DHs co- workers' wife is a regional manager for Quest. If I have to go in for something I try to coordinate with her which location she will be at so I can get it done no problem. I'm hoping she will be at the one closest to my house sometime this week otherwise I will just have to be a walk- in. And then I will schedule my rhogam shot. I don't see my OB until the 30th.
I have my 32 week appointment on Tuesday. I don’t expect much more than a check in. Depending on conversations with my doc, not sure if I’ll come back in 2, 3, or 4 weeks. She let me do 4 from the 28 week appointment...so I’ll see. I’ll actually be 32+5 tomorrow. eta: I was reminded that I am officially high risk because I’m 35....so I guess I won’t ask for spaced out appointments. I don’t feel “old” but I guess I am in maternity world.
Meeee. 32 week appointment on Wednesday, followed by a dentist appointment for my tot, so I’d better not be there for 3 hours this time!! Looking forward to getting results Re: iron (and syphilis, ha), and I’ll ask about TDAP if I remember. I need to start scheduling with the other docs in the practice to get through all of them! Only 6 or so appointments left!

I have my second-last 2-weeker tomorrow. Just looking forward to hearing the heartbeat and hopefully confirming that the belly is still measuring on track (I feel like it has really grown over the last two weeks, but it could be all in my head).
Regular OB and MFM appointments both on Wednesday. I start my weekly MFM appts this week, so every Wednesday from here on out I get to go in for a growth scan. I think my next OB appt is in 2 weeks, I don't think I go to weekly with her until 36 weeks (32w on Wednesday).
Had an ultrasound today to guage this little girls size before making the vbac vs repeat c section decision on thursday with my ob... im 32+1... shes measuring 35+3 and is already weighing in close to 5 lbs!!! Wth??? Why does my small body insist on making giant babies???? If she gains the half pound a week shes supposed to in 8 weeks she will be around 9 lbs... probably a c section for me! But shes got a lot of hair lol
Good luck on this week’s appointments! Getting closer to the finish line is fun / scary.
We only have non-baby appointments this week. Monday night was a Newborn Care class, Tuesday is Infant CPR. Tomorrow I’m also going to try to get my TDAP, and DH is going to try to get his TDAP and flu shots. We might see each other at the clinic

@winterplumeria I think measurements this far along are really gross estimates. I've heard babies measure 9 lbs and are born at 7, so baby may not be as big as they think! Unless you really do have a history of large babies.
@echo-charlietango my hubby is such a baby about shots...I had to go with him to get his TDAP. His flu shot is scheduled for Friday but I'm kind of worried he's going to chicken out and not get it since I won't be there!
I have a blood test for thyroid levels this week, that's it. Next week the fun starts with our hospital tour!
@scaredunprepared they are total estimates! I guess 32 weeks is the last half way reliable measurement they can make before it gets really hazy.. but what they are doing for me is making a growth chart with my other ultrasounds and looking for patterns of growth. Ill find out for sure thursday, but the us tech said baby seemed very consistent on how far ahead shes measuring at least height wise. Weight wise she said "give or take 11 oz" but im more concerned about body size than weight. My son wasnt a fat baby but he was big at 22.2 inches long and his noggin didnt fit! But he was almost 9 lbs..
Good luck with hubby and his shots! Lol why are men always wieners about silly little things like that???
@winterplumeria oh boy! If your son was that big I guess they have reason to assume this one will be the same. Good thing they are keeping track then!
Men are very much babies about silly little things. That's why we were chosen to do this whole pregnancy and birth thing. If it was on men, the human race would have died out immediately!
@scaredunprepared If we are going into a philosophical discussion, evolution has helped us quite a bit for carrying children. The mother instinct, the release of endorphins so we forget the pain of labor, the increase in blood volume because we lose so much blood during labor - it's pretty amazing!
My appointment with my MFM went well!! Baby passed everything he needed to during the growth scan, doctor says he's about 4 lbs or so, right on track! He did increase my insulin slightly since I have some high readings when I don't sleep well, but otherwise happy with my GD management.
@CecilB93 Happy to hear your appointment went well!
@scaredunprepared I hope your hospital tour goes well. I need to schedule one for our actual hospital

I had my 32 week appointment today and they said for the first time that I am measuring a little small, like 30 or 31, which is what I measured 2 weeks ago. This may be due to the baby's position. Baby is transverse so I am researching some ways to get baby head down. I know we have a few more weeks before it is a concern but I want to be proactive. Anyone have experience getting their baby to flip? Doctor said spending time in a pool and when I looked online it said to do forward inversions.
