We might go with the whole “bun in the oven” theme...I’d be the oven with my “bun” inside and MH would be the chef. We’ll see if I’m still excited for that one come October!
I like the pictures you found! Especially the Thing 1 and Thing 2!
I've been kind of excited about this. The only time I had a big bump at Halloween and we didn't have other kids yet so we stayed home and watched scary movies. I was due in a few weeks and didn't feel like doing much! This time I'm going trick or treating with the kids. DD1 wants to be a ghost and DD2 is really into Charlie Brown's Halloween show, so I was thinking something having to do with the "Great Pumpkin". That Pooh Bear idea is so cute as well as Thing 1 and Thing 2.
I’ve had the idea of trying to be a kangaroo with a little Joey peeping out of my belly. Haven’t investigated too much yet but that’s all I got so far. I also like the idea of being thing 1 and thing 2 with my husband as the cat in the hat but I don’t think I’ll be able to get it to go for it 😅
Last year I was Boo, DS had a sleeper and was Mike, and DH was Sully. This year I’m hoping we can do something Disney themed again incorporating baby we will see! I love all the cute ideas though!
My 2yo daughter wants to be a pumpkin, so I think I’ll be a pumpkin too and my husband can be a farmer. We usually dress our dog up too, but I don’t know what to do for his costume! Maybe a scarecrow?
I wasn’t really showing yet with DD (even though she was also a March baby) so we did this.
This time around im not sure what we are doing. We were going to do the Flenstones with the neighbors so our daughter and their son could be Pebles and Bambam. So I may just be a preggo Wilma. Since I’m showing sooner this time around it makes me want to do something Bump themed though.

Thanks! Our AS is on Halloween so I really am trying to think of a way to incorporate our reveal with our costume this time but Dzh really wants Flinstones so I don’t know how to pull that off.
ETA: okay I just went internet searching and I think I have a new plan I just have to get DH talked into it. DD a gum ball machine, DH a quarter and my bump a gum ball- pink or blue as the reveal.
Not necessarily bump derived but I thought this was pretty awesome!! I guess if you and hubs are matching, Than you can throw a couple of pillows in his shirt and give him his own bump.
@thedaint87 I love that! So cute! We ordered a “catboy” hoodie for DS to wear to go as a PJ masks character. I don’t think we have a party or anything to dress up for this year as a family though. A shirt like that would be fun!

I just got my costume off of motherhood maternity! I’m being Wonder Woman & the front of the costume says super pregnant haha! Any way they hve a great sale on Halloween costumes now, they are priced at $25! Plus they also have just regular shirts for Halloween, I wanna say around $10. If you’re looking, def check it out!
@lucysmom2016 I was thinking about hat idea too but couldn’t figure out how to tie in the family and I’m a sucker for family themed costumes. Last year DD was strawberry shortcake and we were huckleberry pie, plum pudding and blueberry muffin.
I think I'm going to do a version of this for our work Halloween Pot Luck. Probably with less alcohol, cigarettes, and belly hanging out. I work with a bunch of rednecks, so I think they'll get a kick out of it.

@meggyme - That is very similar to my sister's costume last year, only she was a football fan! She let her bump all hang out.
I will be bundling up in a sweater. Halloween is cold here. I got a men's size light pink hanes sweater and I'm putting Kirby's (the old NES video game character) face over my bump with felt and hot glue. Kirby could puff up into an even bigger balloon-looking creature, I can totally relate right now!

I haven’t really thought about it much which is weird because usually by know I have my whole costume planned lol
