@meatballs37 There should be parking around the park. Worst case there is always garage parking which is more expensive but you can get deals if you prepay before going in. As for leaving the city around 4-5 will it be on the weekend or on Friday? On Saturday/Sunday it shouldn't be TOO bad I generally find getting into the city is worse on the weekends than getting out. (but I also go into it thinking about how much it will suck). On Friday getting out of the city gets really messed up starting at like 3. My parents moved to WI last year so it has really cut down on my commuting into the city.
@dntstpbelieveing ok good to know. We would be heading out of the city to oak park on Thursday. So hopefully it’s not too crazy. I am also a Wisconsinite 😄

@sparklingdiamond omg, I don't live in Texas, never lived in Texas, (lived in OK with a OK cell phone number) and I get those texts. AND it has my dad's name. I yelled at them and told them I live in Florida and to leave me alone. That and I'm voting for Mickey Mouse.
@jhems776 I want the Pixel 3! We got the Pixel 2 last year and I'm in love, but I've been avoiding looking into them because I don't need a new phone now. Ughh.
I live in NE Florida and secretly want Hurricane Michael to go a little more east so I can have a hurricane day and chill at home.
Anyone else having a hard time with water intake? I feel like I'm in the ladies room non stop as it is but I'm also not drinking enough. I might as well relocate my office. So far all the reminder apps I've tried are annoying and useless. Any recommendations?
@prpl11butterfly I had water issues. I could guzzle water overnight like no ones business but during the day it turned my stomach wretchedly. I have a few tricks and I can gladly share them (but I am sure you have tried them). My only off-beat tip was to keep bottles of water in the kitchen, bathroom or other place I went often and I forced myself to take a tiny sip or two every time I had to go into that room. Little sips on the regular we’re ok for me but figuring out a system was a work in progress.
@prpl11butterfly I use the hydrocoach app, which is free and customizes your water need based on your activity level, weight, pregnancy status, and weather in your location. I used to find it kind of annoying, but they made a lot of improvements to the interface in their latest release.
@prpl11butterfly Ugh the water thing is killing me too! I have to leave our secure office to go to the bathroom, so running in and out every hour is driving me crazy. I’m trying to make up for it by chugging water before and after work.
I usually have my Yeti full on my desk so I can sip. But sometimes I just get caught up in work (okay, TB really.....) that I forget. I feel like I did pretty good today. I drank 2 of those (so 60oz) plus the half of it that was left from yesterday (don't judge, I know that's not the healthiest thing to do...) and will drink more now that I'm home. But I swear I was in the ladies room every 30-45 min. I'm pretty sure I have a small bladder.
ETA- at home on weekends is a struggle because we seem to be on the go so much.
@spacepiraterunner I'll check that app out. I can't remember what I've got right now but it's got way to many adds.
I have been using the big jug I got from the hospital from my last delivery to help with water intake. It has a straw so I can drink more from it than I do a regular nalgene.
@eleven_ 😆 I think that pin needs to go on my jacket. #badgeofhonor #imissnaptime #isthiswhytheycallitterribletwos #okayimdonenow

@harrierwife MH also says straws help you drink enough. He calls it "free refill theory" 🤷♀️. Drinking from a straw is most common at restaurant where you drink all you want. So, his theory is that it makes you think you have unlimited refills and therefore drink more.
I woke up to cooler weather this morning. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. I'm so sick of the Texas heat. Its suppose to be in the 70's the next week or so and I'm so excited to get the kids outside to play.
I gained a little weight before getting pregnant so my pants were already a bit tight and now it's pretty uncomfortable to button them. Really tempted to break out the belly band now or at least the hair tie trick.
I'm annoyed. I have to find a new OB because my old one isn't practicing anymore. I called one today but they won't even let me schedule an appt until I get released from my RE and they get paperwork. So dumb. My old OB didn't make me do that.
I try to always drink water with meals. I noticed I drink a lot when I eat so that helps. I have a big cupco straw cup that’s 24 oz so just 3 of them is doable.
My baby is getting 4 teeth and 2 broke through the other night. She was awake from 1:45-5 the night before. I can see the other two getting close. I really don't know if I can handle another night like that. I was useless the next day.

Otherwise I'd lose count if I used normal glasses.

I brought a small bag of Cheez-Its to work and they were sooooo good. I didn't even really want them. Now I want more.....
