To Facebook We Go!

It's the moment we've all been waiting for - the migration to Facebook!
So, here's how it's going to go:
1) Ask yourself a question - Are you brand new here? If the answer is yes, take some time to introduce yourself in the "Introduce Yourself Here" thread and be active for a bit before moving on to the next steps.
2) Take a bump selfie while holding a piece of paper with the date written on it
3) Send a bump message to ONE of the following elected admins: @hkom, @echo-charlietango, @PensiveCrayon, @runrinserepeat, @texas_t
4) Make sure to include your picture and email address in the message as this is the way we will be adding you to the Facebook group.
5) Be patient. Give us a hot second to see your message and send you an invite. Please remember we have jobs, kids, and other responsibilities.
6) Before diving into the FB group, please read through the guidelines listed below. They are also posted as an Announcement in the Facebook group if you need a refresher.
7) Once in the group, look for the Google spreadsheet pinned in Announcements. Fill it out so we can have a reference guide of who's who! If you're anything like me, I will reference it by the minute because apparently I'm suffering from short-term remembery loss
8) Let's start our Daily thread with a meme. Post the meme with the day of the week and everyone else jump on in!
9) Lastly, before making one-off posts, maybe run it by everyone in the Daily thread to make sure you don't get flamed! (Or, take a chance
)
We realize things might be a bit jumbled at first, but I'm hoping we'll get into the swing of things fairly quickly.

— Be nice, k? We Mods are lazy and don’t want to deal with drama.
—Along those lines, don’t be creepy. Creepy means PMing group members and asking for money or details about their sex lives (yes, this happened in Pensive’s first BMB Facebook group).
— Don’t excessively promote yourself. It’s cool if you want to mention your Etsy business selling artisanal hedgehog scarves every now and again, but please don’t spam us with MLM crap. No one is here for that.
—Keep politics to a minimum. If you really want to discuss hot-button issues, feel free to start a separate post and be ready to debate.
—No screenshotting, etc. What happens in D18 stays in D18.

ETA: i meant not a minute too soon, not late. and holy crap I just used the website for the first time to attach the photo to the PM (app wouldn't let me do it) and it is SO MUCH BETTER. Good thing I only ever used the app and didn't know any better before. now I am even more anxious to migrate.

Yay!! I missed this last week. I need to remember to take my picture today!!
Would we possibly be able to discuss 8 and 9 at a later time? My group has some things we do on certain days (mainly TTT and Wednesday is picture day) but that's it and we have one off posts where we ask for advice or just bring up other relevant things. I like that way better than the structure of this board. I feel like the facebook group is just going to be a lot like TB at this point? Just not such a crap interface. Anyway, just asking. If it's a hard no, I'm okay with that too.

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!I don’t love the idea of everything getting its own post in the group. Facebook Mobile, at least, tends to hide new posts unless you swipe down extra. I feel like a ton of posts will get lost that way.
Anyway. That’s my two cents.
