I'm legit carrying Chewy in my ute. So. Much. Heartburn. My other two caused the same amount of heartburn (and were in line w/ the "Old Wives Tale" because that had a shitton of hair) so I don't know why I'm surprised but man, it's the pits.
Yet another busy weekend for us... my DD's school has their Color Run this morning followed by two birthday parties this afternoon. Tomorrow is slightly better w/ just flu shots for the kids in the morning but then we have to catch up on errands after.
And did I mention that DH has the man cold? Day 4 of it over here. He's lucky I didn't pack up and move out 2 days ago.
I thought coming to Montreal would give me a chance to sleep. Wrong! This hotel bed sucks!! I've got 6 pillows and it's not enough to keep from getting an aching back and a kink in my neck. Here comes the headache to go with the lack of sleep too.
It's a gorgeous Fall day out the sky lights here. I even see some changing leaves. I got a full night of sleep for once (sorry @bellebaby221!) and my preemptive pepcid'ing somehow worked, for once. Despite the fact that my SO went out last night and got hammered with clients and contractors (he's an architect), he is up with our son right now. I need to get it in gear because it's "my turn" with our son in swim class. Now the question is, to switch to the true maternity swimsuit or ney. Have not crossed that bridge yet this pregnancy..
My babies are hairless and I have horrific heartburn. Exception to every rule, I guess?
I’m working from bed, DH is making pancakes and bacon, the kids are happily watching TV. No plans today other than doing stuff around the house and me getting rest. Oh and I’m getting Chick-Fil-A for lunch and another gallon of lemonade.
DS shad a full head of hair when he was born and my heartburn wasn’t all that bad with him. Weird.
We went to brunch with my dad this morning (breakfast tacos FTW), then are moving a bunch of stuff, then shipping DS off to my moms house and going to a football game this afternoon to celebrate DH’s birthday!
I am feeling so hormonal this week I’m driving myself crazy. Just about every single person I have encountered is irritating me. Basically I only like my dog right now.
@megpants209 I dont think I even like my dogs this week! I think the only living thing I could tolerate this week was the Delta airlines lady that gave me a free seat update so I'd have more room. I love her.
My husband is being a dick and has been since he got up today. I’m sick of him being in a poor mood constantly. While I have been sick and working my ass off, the house has gone to shit and our children have become heathens. I am just really really tired of having to do everything myself or nothing gets done.
I was productive this morning and made 5 lbs of pickled beets, took 2.5 hours then my feet and back were sore. I managed to pick up a few weeds for like 5 minutes in the yard.. and then I kind of took a 3 hour nap, whoops! Looks like I won't be sleeping tonight?
Dh finally felt the baby kick, I'd been feeling them a week all by myself, nice that he got to feel it finally. Now he believes me, that there is a baby in there big enough to produce movement in my stomach. . I could actually see my stomach move this afternoon where baby was kicking, so cute.
@kayjay44 My DH had the nerve to ask me to remind him to get extra air filters, because I'm not vacuuming as often, so it needs to be changed more often. Ummm.. First of all the lab is his dog, second of all he knows how to use a vacuum, third of all fuck off.
I went to a remodeled home tour with MIL and her sister, one of the houses had a media room with a GIANT speaker system, and when they demonstrated it, baby started moving around like crazy. Looks like we have a music lover on our hands!
Also I apparently am the kind of person who likes to go on home tours now. My metamorphoses from hip artsy 20-something to a middle aged soccer mom has begun.

Is it still called the CIO method when you're trying to "sleep train," ie. quit cosleeping, with an almost 4yo? Or is their a better name for this special kind of hell?
@kayjay44- That sucks, and would suck even if you weren't pregnant but that does make his not keeping up even worse. I get really resentful when my SO is not doing his part. It's really rage inducing for me.
It's such a nice cool Fall day today. We had a somewhat busy weekend. It was my birthday Friday so we had dinner plans with some friends followed by a few drinks for everyone else and some carbonated water for me. Weee! Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the apple orchard and then I made a made a beef stew and passed out at 930.
Today my mother is coming over to help me try and set up a play room for DD. Her toys are EVERYWHERE and we decided that a toy room trumps a spare room for the odd guests that stay over.
Errands. DH goes out of town this am through weds. Not looking forward to 4days just me and his parents. Taking DD to the mall later just to get out. I was not happy with DH this am. Instead of packing last night he watched a movie with his parents and woke up to pack this am, when he could have spent time with DD, and let me have a break.

Does being pregnant with a boy make you act like one? I burned my hand making crepes and almost blacked out from the pain. That was 30 minutes ago and I’m still a big baby about it.
So we went to Trader Joe’s (my one true love, sorry H) today and stocked up for meals for the week. We’re moving all week so I know cleaning up from complex meals will be the last thing I want to do. And I’m SO EXCITED. TJs is arguably my favorite place in the world. More so than target even.
Ohhh @kayjay44 that sounds amazing. DS was occupied with a sample (harvest soup with little toast - he downed the toast, I ate the soup and he spent the rest of the trip pretending to eat from the little sample cup with his tiny spoon).
Now I can’t decide what to have for dinner tonight. I’m between cauliflower gnocchi with their vegan kale pesto (we’re not vegan and it’s so yummy) or butternut squash mac and cheese. It’s gonna be a simple dinner either way because I’m exhausted.
I don't want to bring down the conversation, but we put my sweet dog Robin down today. H and I found her as a stray a few months before we got married, and she's been with us ever since for over six years. She was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer last April. Here is one of my favorite pictures of her, with her typical stoic look (she also had a fantastic "bitch, please." look LOL).
