Rates for uterine rupture go up w each c section when trying to vbac, I think....I'd have a conversation w your doc. Better to get medically sound advice and protect your lady parts than listening to people on the Internet w varying levels of knowledge (and mostly just personal anecdotes)
I have had 2 c-sections and am interested in having a vbac. My dr will not even consider it though so I would have to go to a different hospital. Would love to hear from others who have had a successful (or even unsuccessful!) VBA2C

The best you can do is find someone with experience in successful vba2c and also finding out if you are truly a good candidate for a vba2c. Determining this takes figuring out if your incision is in a good location on your uterus(because even if your abdominal incision is low and horizontal, it doesn't mean the same for your uterine incision.) It also is important to know exactly why you had a c-section, so you can gauge if the same will happen with your third birth. There are many other variables, but these are the two not always mentioned and they are very important. If you are a good candidate, this greatly reduces your chances of rcs and other complications.

Just because you ask a Dr doesn't mean he will know the answer or specialise in what you asking about.
Some Drs make it their business to know others just stay with what they need to know and stay within legal limits but bend things their own way.
