TTC After a Loss

TW, I'm returning

Well, looks like a CP. I tested again on Tue morning and it was getting lighter. OB ordered labs and at 16dpo my beta was 11. A whopping 11. I talked to them yesterday and I have to go in for repeat labs tonight. But I woke up bleeding so I guess those labs will simply confirm what I told them I suspected. She said if I am in fact having a CP, I will be scheduled to see OB and discuss next steps. I'm going to push to be tested for a clotting disorder. I was on baby aspirin for migraines when we conceived DS. I never went back on it but it's certainly seeming suspicious now. I'm devastated guys.

Re: TW, I'm returning

  • @prpl11butterfly I’m so sad to see you back here :( It is so hard to keep going through this! I hope that your OB is able to get you some answers and a plan.

  • Oh no!  I am so sorry.  This is such a roller coaster
  • I'm so sorry :(  I really didn't want to see you back here.  I hope your OB has some answers for you.  Push for the tests and don't let them tell you it was just "unlucky".  Hugs to you.
  • I'm so sorry you are back here. I've just received my lab results and my cariolipins are positive for the second test in a row, which means blood clotting is definitely a risk for me as well. You really need to push for your own health sometimes. Hoping you can find some answers.
  • I’m so sorry you are back here.  I agree push for testing.  Take care of yourself.  It’s so hard to continue down this road.  Hugs to you
  • This breaks my heart. I'm so sorry  <3
  • I'm so sorry. I hope that you OB has some answers for you. Hugs to you.

@prpl11butterfly I was just following you to see your most recent post and I am so so sorry to see this. I hope you get some answers. Know that you're in my thoughts. Sending so many hugs your way.
  • Drs called back. OB doesnt see the point in repeat labs tonight but I said I want them because I need to know.  I mean, I know but I need to see it writing. This nurse said they will start doing testing after 3rd loss and I said not good enough. I flat out told her I was not spending another 5m trying only for another MC. So we are meeting with OB on the 18th to discuss. I had talked to DH this morning after he got up and we both agreed that I should go on the baby aspirin again. I'll be so angry if that's what it was the whole time. I honestly dont even know what to do with myself right now. I'm so broken down and defeated.
  • @prpl11butterfly good for you for advocating for yourself! I also didn’t like the answers I was getting from my OB so I left and went and found a RE. It’s not for everyone but it made me feel better bc I started getting some labs done. I hope the baby aspirin does the trick for you! I completely understand how you’re feeling and our hormones are also all over the place so that doesn’t help at all!
  • @prpl11butterfly I'm glad you're advocating for yourself. Have you thought about switching to an RE?
  • @crookshanks10 when I talked to the nurse yesterday she said the possibility of seeing a specialist is something we would discuss at the appt.
  • @prpl11butterfly I think you'd feel a lot better working with an RE. Keep me updated on how your appointment goes <3
  • @prpl11butterfly I'm so very sorry to see you back here. I'm glad you're pushing for testing. Hugs ❤️
  • oh no, I'm so sorry this is happening again.  I'm glad you're advocating for yourself and I hope you can get some answers <3
