Intro (TW: losses / living child mentioned)

Hi ladies! Figured I'd wander over here from the IF boards...I've been too nervous to do it until today when we had an u/s. My quick background is that my hubby and I have been married for 12 years and have been TTC for 11 of the 12.

**TW** Through this process, we've had eight losses, multiple scopes and eleven IVF cycles. From those, we do have a 2 1/2 year old son who is my world.

We just had our fourth IVF cycle this year and it was a success! I'm officially 6w3d with a PGS-tested girl (i think...there was a whole debacle about my embryos getting mislabeled in the move between clinics so not really certain which embryo I have) who had a heartbeat on ultrasound today!

Look forward to this journey with you girls!

Welcome! Happy to see another lady moving over here

Little girls are awesome, btw, if that's what your little bean turns out to be! My sister has two and I have my little miracle girl. We are a "girl" family! <3<3

I honestly don't think my dad would know what to do with a boy....he's gotten so used to girls (he had my sister and me -- and now 3 granddaughters).

I hope everything goes smoothly for you from here on out and you can enjoy things! Getting over the hurdle of the first ultrasound is so huge, I think. I was so convinced the doctor would see nothing (or something bad) when I went in for my first one after the FET and bfp. You get so used to bad news at a certain point...
