@secicc12 yum, I love fresh mozzarella. I no longer eat dairy, (except on rare occasion) and I really miss cheese. The fake vegan cheese is garbage compared to the real stuff! Paninis sound amazing.
I am forcing my husband to come home a little early from work to take my DS to his 4 year old appt. I just don’t want to deal with shots and him fighting the nurses. I always take the kids to all appointments, so I think it’s fair that he do it this one time!
I've been bumping and watching Bachelor in Paradise and Are You the One so far today. No actual work has been done. I am feeling far too lazy today lol.

Realized this morning that I had an over easy egg on my homemade avocado toast yesterday. This was after ordering a sandwich with brie on it out at dinner last night and then once it arrived at the table, realized I wasn't supposed to eat it and doing so anyways (then promptly freaking out with major guilt and rationalizing that the brie was baked on the sandwich so heated through). Great day 2 of knowing I'm pregnant! So far day 3 is going better, I scrambled my egg for my toast this morning
guys I couldn't flame any of this stuff if I tried. I've been talking myself out of pretending one of my kids are sick all day so I can go home and take a nap.

Psh, I ate soft cheese all through my last pregnancy. According to Emily Oster it's just the raw milk cheese we need to worry about.
@secicc12 I will watch it begrudgingly lol. Colton is a nice dude, but I don't think he's mature enough emotionally to be the bachelor. I don't see him choosing a lasting relationship. I wanted Jason!
Also, second FFFC...I dragged out my maternity clothes and am wearing some of the pants now hahaha

@zuul_mom BIPing it during the day sounds wonderful! I'm not caught up from last week (but I stupidly follow a Bachelor spoilers page on Instagram). But knowing that way just isn't the same as experiencing it. They crack me up! I'm in the same camp as you for Colton. He's slightly endearing, but nowhere near ready for a relationship. I love Garrett, and glad Becca picked him, but I was a Blake fan too. He or Jason would have been a WAY better choice.
@GeorgiaGirl1230@zuuls_mom@kvh22 Colton is definitely an attractive guy. But THE CRYING. I mean, it was definitely endearing at first and then it just became annoying. I also wasn't a fan of how he dragged Tia along, trying to fake his way through the relationship. Just cut her loose! That being said, I will totally watch this season - it's my guilty pleasure.
@zuuls_mom@secicc12@GeorgiaGirl1230 I love all of the Bachelor franchise. Thank god we will have these shows to watch together! I am also disappointed they chose Colton for bachelor. I wanted Jason. Colton is kind of an emotional weenie.
@zuuls_mom I applaud you for pulling out the maternity pants already! I never put a lot of my mat clothes away. They're just hanging in my closet for easy access lol.
@zuuls_mom I'm not wearing my maternity clothes yet (only 4 weeks along) but I will break out those jeans with the insert as soon as I start feeling the least bit uncomfortable in regular clothes. Luckily I work from home most of the time so can live in yoga pants.
Another FFFC is that not only did I order maternity clothes from Gap the day I got my BFP (even before I told my husband, the sale was too good when I looked!) - I also bought 3 maternity items in the past 4 months, while buying nursing clothes since they are all in the same section online, knowing we were going to start trying and they were really cute and on sale and blah blah blah excuses. Flame away...

I'm pretty sure you really only have to worry about soft cheeses if they are unpasteurized.
@zuuls_mom I have a pair of full panel maternity tights that I haven’t ever put away or stopped wearing from when I was pregnant with DD1. Soooo... 4 years ago. They’re the comfiest tights I have!

You’re all making me feel so much better about the maternity pants wearing! It’s totally all bloat, but dang is it uncomfortable! I also need to buy a ton more clothes. I have barely anything for fall/winter! Gap was sold out of my size on all the sale maternity pants

@brie_and_almonds love you SN! My OB is a bit more old school WRT the cheeses and google freaked me out but that's helpful. Thank you!
@zuuls_mom I have the same fall/winter issue with an August baby previously. I was looking for a good pair of dark jeans I could wear to work which I never got last time and they were out of my size, too. I have 5 pairs of cute casual jeans in varying styles/colors so this is my maternity clothes unicorn carrying over from last pregnancy.
@zuuls_mom I’m with you on the maternity clothes. Thankfully, teaching gym for two periods fully allows me to wear comfy workout clothes all day long
and I totally wanted Jason or Blake...but really Jason would’ve been the best pick, IMO.
And my FFFC is I’m 100% buying pizza for dinner and I’m going to eat all of it because my DH is not in town. Plus I earned it because I burned calories teaching gym today, right?!
Guess my hormones went shopping today for my new birthday present and a congrats on being pregnant present to myself today. Bought a YSL crossbody bag. OOPS. HORMONES!
I'm a day late but I have to rant somewhere lol. I started a new job recently at a warehouse. Originally my job was to be working in the freezer moving around 50lb boxes of frozen product. I took the job because I wanted something different then my typical office/customer service job. Anyways, after getting my BFP i told my manager (HR doesnt work on site) that I literally just found out I'm pregnant and that I do not feel comfortable doing the freezer job. I explained that I fear a fall could hurt more then just myself and that I would be willing to do any other job or even just quit. she immediately got me a different position which is awesome. What is NOT awesome is that in her little introduction of me to the rest of the staff (approx 30+ people) she felt the need to say 'this is kelsey. She will be assist manager of pulling blah blah and she will also be welcoming a baby in a few months. Congrats to Kelsey' I told her that shes the only person I have told in person, not even my bf knows yet. What a cow. I'm debating quitting just cause of that. Everyone congradulated me all damn day and one guy RUBBED MY BELLY.
@kels0091 OMG!! I would be so raging mad at her! And that guy that rubbed your belly needs to be throat punched. I cannot stand when people touch our bellies!!

@kateandsiah no judgement here. The research on alcohol consumption during pregnancy has made those guidelines kind of fuzzy these days. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable with more than a sip or two at this stage, but I definitely had half a glass or so towards the end of my last pregnancy.
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe DD2: October 2016 DC3: coming May 2019
@kateandsiah the research on alcohol consumption and pregnancy is so messed up and unreliable as it’s nearly to find women who would openly admit to drinking and then freely subject their babies to potential harm for the sake of science. I’m holding off til second tri, but I will, at that point, indulge every once in a while with a small beer or glass of wine if I feel so inclined. Randomly, last pregnancy as soon as I knew I was preggers (10dpo) I didn’t even feel the urge, not even a twinge, to have a drink until about 4 weeks post-partum. So far this pregnancy has been exactly the same.
Regardless, zero judgement from this gal. Cheers to you!
@kels0091 I’m so angry for you! And I’d 100% be talking to HR about so many problems with that situation from your manager to the unwanted belly tap. Legit not ok in my book!
@kels0091 wow, that is so rude to spread news that someone’s expecting before asking the person if it’s okay with them. And I would be furious if someone touched my belly. I’m not a touchy feely person and when people get in my bubble, it makes me so uncomfortable.
I saw a little Harry Potter sweater and a "Dumbledore's Army" onesie in Target yesterday. I was so tempted, but I decided that to do that would be to jinx things. I hope those items are still around when I finally get to looking!
@MegEn1 I love all things HP. So glad it’s finally “cool” to be a fan! I remember going to Hot Topic to buy a shirt and getting made fun of. I just saw that Pottery Barn has a new line of HP themed stuff. But the price is $$$$.
@sparrowsnest22 I'm trying so hard already not to over-nerd things, even when I'm just window shopping. I can't help it! Since I started going back to school, I keep thinking to myself "What Would Hermione Do?"
Here's another confession though: I JUST NOW figured out where my baby (which my husband has taken to calling 'Gerald Ford' because "it's a placeholder President for a placeholder baby name") is developmentally. I'm one of those who is dead certain as to the conception date, but every time I looked up 2 or 3 weeks pregnant, everything said I wasn't really pregnant yet. So while I know I'm almost three weeks pregnant, by the way all the development milestones are listed online, I'm considered four-almost-five weeks pregnant.

They're already bought! I LOVE HP!!! My other May groups call ourselves graduates of Hogwarts May '17
