@echo-charlietango thanks! I got it during my last pregnancy and barely wore it, it didn't feel like my style, but I'm loving it a lot more this time around! It's getting a little tight though to get on and off since the fake shirt parts (bottom and sleeves) aren't stretchy. I'd love to find more shirts this style! Not sure where though, I got this at a secondhand store.
@Llynde5 girl I feel you! I definitely feel like I'm bigger this time around compared to last time, part of it for me personally is I never lost weight after having my son, so I started out this pregnancy with more.
@runrinserepeat Yes to hating people look at my stomach. I am more of an active yet thick build. I figure skip the awkwardness and put it out there because I also knew that group of Moms would be very excited for us, especially DD!!
@LLynde5 You look wonderful! I feel the same exact way. It is rough and I try to push my negative thoughts to the back of my overthinking mind. I split a pair of freaking maternity jeans this morning. I have now sworn off pants unless they are leggings, haha. It's more comfortable anyways. Luckily in Florida, I can get away with dresses through December!
@Fruitcove7 I wish I could get away with dresses until December!!! I've been living in flowy dresses since 3 months, wishing I could continue until I give birth!
@LLynde5 you look great! But I definitely understand. It's hard to accept the changes happening to our bodies, and they happen so fast, even faster when you're a second time + mom!!!
@LLynde5 +1 on bump awkwardness. In both senses. I was resigned to having my pregnancy be openly known after 20 weeks or when it was obvious. I delayed saying anything at work (other than to supervisors) earlier for no reason other not wanting to make conversation about it when a) it wasn’t showing and b) I felt pukey and awful. it finally came out last week around 22.5/23 weeks. Because I decided to wear a stripey fitted dress maternity dress and get the disclosure out of the way.
Re: not knowing where your belly ends: I have been bumping my belly with the edge of the door while closing doors.
@LLynde5 I’m happy you got out of your comfort zone and joined HDBD - we certainly don’t care what size you are, just that you and that babe are happy and healthy
@Katzalia I haven’t bumped a door yet, but I sure had some close calls with shopping carts today

@Katzalia I don't know why I didn't even think about wearing leggings with my dresses come fall and winter. Though most of my dresses are very summery, so I guess those would be a no-go. I probably have like four or five that I might be able to pull off as fall dresses. Thanks for the inspiration!
Late to the game bc this week has been crazy! I think everyone looks adorable with their bumps! We're at a really great stage right now where we're all showing. And I'm sorry to those who have been made to feel bad about the way you look. Pregnancy is beautiful and all pregnant women are beautiful!

@scaredunprepared H&M maternity leggings (the cheaper ones sre better) are amazing and pretty reasonably priced. I lived in them last time, and expect I will third trimester this time too.
@katzalia yes! Thank you! Cheaper is better in my book Do they run small? I remember struggling to fit into H&M in the past, but hopefully the stretchy maternity belly will be forgiving.
@scaredunprepared yes cheaper is good. But I also meant they have 2 types of leggings and the more expensive ones are thicker, saggier, and def not better! I don’t think they run small. For reference, I am a size 12 and the medium fits me well.
@Llynde5 I think that's common with the second pregnancy. I am already bigger than I was when I was pregnant with DS. It makes me sad, and yes, I feel like a whale, but I think it's perfectly normal. I am going to *try* not to compare weekly bump pictures anymore because I know I'll just feel down on myself. Also, that shirt is cute on you. You rock that bump mama!

@Fruitcove7 @scaredunprepared I expect to be pretty much living in dresses + leggings when I am further along. Because maternity leggings are the best.
I am late but here is a pic from today 24+1 STM
