I convinced my preschooler to take first day of school pictures by telling him he could take pictures of me when I was done. So I present you all with “what 26w pregnant looks like to a 4yo”
Forgive me for looking like a hot mess. Sickness has hit our house and I've been struggling to function with being 25 weeks pregnant, with a cold on top. Then taking care of a sick toddler. Also sanitizing everything in the hopes my husband won't catch it.
@runrinserepeat Thanks . There are only 4 free stickers in the app so I've been cycling through them. I considered paying $1.99 so I could have a different animal each week, but I'm too cheap.
Here's me with the cutest snapchat filter there is. 25 weeks and some days.

@AGK2015 Baby girl is so low, like never kicks above my bellow button, so I’m having a hard time understanding how I’m so big when she’s taking up such little space. lol! Still love that dress.
@LLynde5 Thanks, he’s a good boy! I tried to get Herbie to join but he was too lazy to get up from the floor. That reminds me, we haven’t seen @echo-charlietango and her sweeties yet!
@lavenderlisa I say let him get sick! You're the one who's pregnant, not him! He should be on sick toddler duty. Clearly I'm not very nice ;p Also, you definitely look like you've LOST weight. Your doctor is cray for counseling you on weight gain.
Popping in a pic from yesterday at the doctor's office after my ultrasound. My belly is so huge and all over the place, but somehow I feel still don't look pregnant, just FAT. My clients' parents still haven't said anything about it, and even my friends joke that I'm not really preggers. Guess everyone just thinks I'm gaining back the weight I lost last year This has me feeling very meh about the whole thing, especially my body. At least SO finally has finally admitted I'm looking pregnant these days. Sorry to be a downer this week. 24 +2, FTM.
@scaredunprepared Thank you! I don't like the fact that people think they have the right to comment on your body and weight. Their comments obviously aren't making you feel better. I certainly don't think you look fat! @lavenderlisa I hope you and DS are feeling better today!
Lol @scaredunprepared your silly. You sound just like my older sister. Its ok though, im a sahm so I take on everything, even when I shouldn't. But honey you know how men can be when they get sick.......... lord knows I don't need that big baby man child of a headache lol. But screw people insinuating you look fat, you definantly don't. You look preggers not fat. How freakin rude of some people. @clbness thank you, im feeling much better today. Just a little cough left, ds got over his cough but his nose is stuffy today. My poor baby is very sensitive and gets teary over everything. I no he isn't feeling well, I just have him medicine so he should feel a little better later.
@clbness and @lavenderlisa thank you both, you're sweet. I think people don't mean things the way I take them, though, so I just need to get out of my head. I'm pregnant gosh darnit!
@lavenderlisa I do get it about men when they're sick! Just make sure you make a big deal about how you're pregnant and sick and still taking care of toddler! Glad you're feeling better though. And hopefully your son does too!

DH wanted a nice bump photo when we were out of town last weekend. The wedding was at an orchard venue, it was lovely

@echo-charlietango thank you! You're bump is adorbs, that dress is super cute too! You're puppers like to try to steal your thunder, eh? Lol The one on the chair looks like he's saying, "look at meeee!".
I have had hard time accepting my body with both pregnancies. I am not one to flaunt my bump. I generally hid it and people are shocked when I pull my shirt tight or start rubbing the belly. Today however, I had to go to preschool open house and didn’t want to field a million questions with the Mom group I haven’t seen all summer. When I got home I caught myself in the mirror and instantly regretted my choice of shirt. I haven’t worn this shirt since a month prior to my DD’s birth. Here is the side by side comparison. Holy WTF, I am the same size. My mind is blown. No wonder I am so uncomfortable because I am a house. How will I ever survive the next 16 weeks. I had just over 30 days to go in the other picture. *crawls back into dark lonely hole sobbing*
Edited: I hate this mobile app. It deleted my first line and I have two spoilers i cant fix.
This post is way out of my comfort zone but I hope you can get a chuckle out of it! (Especially STM’s who may be feeling the same way!!)
@LLynde5 please try not to beat yourself up. Stm here and im going through the same thing. Im already almost as big as i was when i delivered ds1. I do my best not to compare because it just makes me think negatively. You look right on track to me, you do not look huge, you look like you are growing a healthy baby. Honestly our bodies look about the same to me. So if your a house im a house lol. Try to embrace it girl you look great.
@lavenderlisa I swear I am being light hearted about it all! I am more awkward than anything, I can’t seem to figure out my new size as soon as I start to show. I bump my bump into everything. And I hid the bump so I don’t have to talk to people/strangers. I seem to have that face that random people talk to me about anything and I don’t need to given them an obvious reason
@LLynde5 I purposefully choose clothes that make it less obvious in situations like school drop off. I've kind of resigned myself to the fact that it's obvious, as I've had a lot of people ask lately and DH thinks I'm ridiculous for thinking I can hide it, but whatever - I just hate all the questions and I'm awkward af and I don't like people looking at my stomach.
Anyway, I think you look great, and don't beat yourself up. Each pregnancy has been different from me, how I show, how big I get, etc. Especially after the first time, it seems like I got so big so fast!
@LLynde5 ok good! I also forget the large mass my stomach has become.....I was straining ramen a few days ago, it splashed on my belly and blistered it... I was like wtf I wasnt close enough to get splashed, then I was like oh..yeah.. sorry about the strangers. I'm usually Sporting a pretty mean resting bitch face so people generally leave me alone. Unless I have ds with me, he's very friendly and tells EVERYONE hello lol.
Re: HDBD 9.5
Not sure if I've mentioned this or not, but ultrasound showed that baby has a widow's peak like his mama hehe
