What to do with sac?

I  passed my sac naturally today, the doctor told me if I want, I can bring it in for testing to see what happened. I was 9 weeks. Although not fully developed for 9 weeks.I want to know if anyone has ever had it tested before? I feel like my baby is already in heaven so I'm going to leave it at that and I know I did all that I could do to make sure he was healthy ,but I didn't know if it is a good idea to have it tested for future knowledge or reference in trying to get pregnant again?any thoughts?

    Just had a D&C myself and had mine tested. It may give you peace of mind. It made me feel better to know the tissue was normal.

    Thank you for your response.my SO and I opted not to test.i miscarried naturally at home and I decided to bury.tough decision but I wasnt given any aftercare directions ,i didnt realize i would have to wonder what to do when everything passed  so I buried with one of my pregnancy tests.
