Very excited for a new month and really have everything crossed for all of you!! But it made me realize I’m at least five months out from a possible BFP and that is hard to accept.
Anyone else getting ansy to poas? I am trying to hold out for another 6 days because my DH is going to be away on business all week and I really want to at least wait til AF. Of course my brain is going haywire with SS: getting up to pee in the middle of the night, insomnia, bloating.
Its hard too because I look at the calendar and think gosh I should be almost 25 weeks pregnant right now. It’s so hard to want that little baby and be in this limbo phase. Anyone else feeling like this?
I’m more or less in the I’ve given up. I’m just waiting for AF. It should be here in about 2 days. No desire to test. We will try one more time before my surgery
I am starting my TWW anxiously and depressed. I don’t even feel like I know or can depend on my body anymore. I am relieved that my OPKs came back with smilies earlier this week but I wonder if it even matters.
heres a question: KY lubricant- yay or nay for TTC? I am reading that it can stop the swimmers and may even affect them... TBH I haven’t spent much time researching but I have used KY for years without even a second thought about it, until now.
I think I go here now. I had an almost positive OPK at cd 18 and my CM dried up today. I’m at CD 21 now and I just have this bad feeling I haven’t ovulated yet.
Another vote for preseed. It got me knocked up 4 times!
I'm over here, hi to all the new ladies I haven't met yet. Taken a bit of a break from the board. @rds51510 we used ky and got knocked up, but resulted in a Mc. Haven't tried preseed yet but I will
I broke down and POAS today at 11dpo. It was negative because of course it would be. I have a terrible feeling I’m going to continue doing this every day until Saturday :-/
thanks all for the lube tips. if it's the KY that's preventing pg then I've just wasted another month using it because I'm in the TWW. ugh.
I can't remember if we used it the last time I was pg... but I am guessing we did since it's pretty much always been a constant for us.
Here's another question- the pharmacy we live near sells men's fertility testers which indicate normal or low sperm count. Have you guys ever used something like this or had your SO tested for quality swimmers? I told DH that we are not there yet but maybe in the next month or two if still no success.
Well I've been WTO, or so I thought. OPK's kept getting lighter and FF changed its mind yesterday and decided I ovulated on Sunday - the weekend I was out of town. So now I guess I'm 4 dpo and our timing was not the best. I'm guessing this cycle's a wash. At least my TWW will feel short.
And - plus one for adding preseed to my Amazon list.
Anyone else at the end of their TWW and going crazy? Every month it's the same thing, you'd think I'd learn not to get my hopes up. I blame DH who is overly optimistic this month. @ruby696 hopefully FF is wrong!
Well I guess I go here. I've been MIA because we haven't been TTC because still no AF 11 weeks post D&C (sort of a long story) but I was at the RE on Tuesday and we saw I was close to ovulating so she said we could try if we wanted. We were really only able to give it one go on -1 and I have adhesions in my cervix that may or may not block sperm, so it would be a miracle if anything actually happened. At this point I would be almost as glad to see AF as I would a BFP so it's going to be a weird TWW.

Woke up to a UTI this morning. Super. Got even better when the doctor confirmed my urine test was negative for pregnancy. I'm only 7dpo, but it was still pretty crappy to hear. Plus side - no desire to test now.
I guess I go here now. I didn’t do my usual opk tracking or anything this month. Just felt like I was back into grieving and not really feeling ttc so I don’t really have any hope for this cycle, but I’m CD20 today so we’ll call it WFAF. I just had my post-mc follow up today and the doc gave us until Jan to conceive on the meds I’m on...but if not by then he wants to move onto IUI which actually scares me...ladies out there that have gone through or are going through IUI any insight would be super appreciated!!
Stupid progesterone making me SS. We HIO one time during my FW and my cervix is too blocked to fit a scope through, but yeah definitely KU. Sigh.

@justarius i did several rounds of IUIs. First we started with femara and IUI. So US early in cycle by CD 3 and then again around CD10 then they would schedule IUI based on that. It was kind of nice because it took pressure off. I still temped and did OPKs though. I didn’t the first few cycles but then I started to doubt whether RE was on track. He was. After 3 failed IUIs with femara we added injections (gonal f) to the mix. We did get pregnant on our last cycle with gonal f but it ended in MC. RE allowed us to continue with that treatment after MC however we missed O just 2 out of 3 after MC. My body was crazy wonky after MC. So we went back to trying natural. Oh we triggered before each IUI. For both DH and myself we were way more relaxed when doing IUIs. Hope this helps.
@Mack2342 I’m not entirely sure at the moment but right now the plan is to schedule surgery to remove the adhesions once insurance approves it. There’s still a chance that the reason AF hasn’t returned is just my body taking a long time to reset but we saw on ultrasound that I ovulated a week ago so I know now that AF should be here in about a week. It’s possible the adhesions are not extensive enough to prevent blood from coming out so if it does show up we most likely won’t need to do surgery.

AFM: My temps looked great this month and then I started spotting at 8dpo. I always spot before my period and never before a positive HPT, so I guess I'm WFAF. Since this is only CD 23, I'm feeling pretty defeated.
lol @ruby696 that’s pretty much been my mantra for the past week. Sorry about the spotting, I hope it’s just a fluke!

I keep checking in hoping someone’s gotten a BFP! Also, amazed at my ability to continue symptom spotting every month fully knowing how ridiculous it is! 9dpo and time is crawwwwling.
Ruby696 any hope that it's implantation spotting? Would be right in the window....
It helps reading everyone's posts, and knowing I'm not the only one going crazy.
This was our first cycle going all... Scientific. (Attempting temping, though my work schedule doesn't allow for it to be done properly, Tracking CM, and used OPK. Which has given me the most hope, because I didn't get my LH surge till CD19!!!! So if that's what's been happening for the last several cycles, then we totally would have missed the window.)
Only 5DPO now, but based on last month, only 4 days till AF. But still too early to POAS. My cycle has been wonky since the last MC though. 28-31 days so it's hard to know.
Trying to not get my hopes up. The last few cycles have been so emotionally brutal that I don't want to do that to myself again .
But yesterday I was cramping, and so incredibly emotional...I cried twice at work. And then again when I got home. (possible TW* the first was over a commercial, the second was watching a woman say goodbye to her husband, the 3rd was telling my husband why it made me cry...which was that I started imagining how awful it would be if he ever died, so I started bawling). Which is not normal for me. It's probably just PMS. But like I said, I normally don't cry at work with PMS.
Trying to hold out till Saturday. I know there is literally no point POAS till then. But I am having trouble stopping myself...
@Mack2342 and @hoping4arainbow3 I guess I'm just a pessimist, but since I always spot before AF and I've never had IB, I'm trying to be realistic. But what the hell, might as well have a little hope I guess!
@Mack2342 thanks for the info on IUI...my husband flat out said no when he got home from work and we talked about it. So I guess I have 4 more cycles of trying and then we’re cut off of femara and saying no to IUI so I guess back to O natural (which I don’t O without meds)...I cried myself to sleep last night, pretty convinced we’re just never having kids now...
Aw I’m sorry @justarius do you think he’d come around if faced with the reality of not having kids? I really hope it’s a moot point and the Femara does the trick.

@justarius I hope femara works for you! Why the opposition from DH? All he has to do is put sperm in a cup. You are the one who has to take the meds, injections and have vaginal US a couple of times a month. It just puts sperm closer to where it needs to go. I hope he comes around or that you just don’t need it bc femara did the trick
@justarius I'm sorry YH is not being cooperative. It seems a relatively small "sacrifice" of him to make considering all you've done (will do and would have to do for IUI). Maybe he just needs some time?
