I’m trying to convince MH to pick up my favorite Thai food tonight. I want panang curry. If not, at least DS and I went to the grocery store today... I let him pick out dessert and he chose double chocolate M&M ice cream cookie sandwiches, so there’s that.
@mamaoftwomonkeys I eat breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, first dinner, and second dinner every day. This was true before I was pregnant too. I think I am a hobbit.
@mamaoftwomonkeys I ate about 4 breakfasts this morning. Not even joking. It was the first day back to work in my district so there was a lot of food being offered.
I had the craziest craving for Italian leaf cookies and I literally would not rest until I found them! Best part: the only reason I even thought of them was because I saw a green tree air freshener hanging in someone’s car window.... pregnancy is crazy!
I finally got around to making the biscuits I’ve been craving. Not quite as good as our favorite San Diego restaurant, but that’s a little out of reach right now.

You guys! I can finally eat a tomato again!! I had been having a bit of a vegetable aversion, mainly uncooked veggies, which is strange for me because I LOVE veggies! Fresh garden tomatoes with salt and a little cottage cheese are my go-to summer snack and I pretty much have been missing out. Most of our backyard garden tomatoes have been going to waste because I can't give them away fast enough and the darn plants are profuse this summer!! A friend of ours recently brought over some of their beefy garden tomatoes and I have been trying them little by little and they are sooo good again! YAY!
I survived first tri on carbs, protein (mostly from eggs) and soup. Still on the carb train - my current go to snack for curbing munchies is Cheez-It Duoz (Sharp cheddar & Parmesan). This baby is more of a salty taste lover!
I just had two pieces of (tiny, grocery store) cheesecake for breakfast
@Lbloom I love the cheddar jack flavored cheez its. So good! Although lately my preferred crunchy cheese snack are baked cheetohs.

I got a craving last week for egg salad which I thought was weird because eggs have been a strict no go but I tried it out anyway and holy crap on a cracker it was amazing. Now I’ve been having it almost daily for lunch because I can’t get enough of it.
@mamakate1616 I mean cheesecake if full of protein and calcium, practically healthy food! (I just had a pop tart for 2nd breakfast... no redeeming qualities there!)
It’s a slammer! They still have them. I get the orange with seltzer instead of orange soda, because that’s just too much sugar at once for me. I love them!
Not eggs My breakfast has consistently been 2 hard boiled eggs with something else for at least the last 5 months. And now the thought of a straight hard boiled egg has my stomach churning...
Lately I'm eating everything I can get my hands on!!! I've been a freaking bottomless pit for three days now! At one point I just stopped eating because I was TIRED OF EATING! I wasn't full or stasified, I was just tired of chewing. That's so horrible to even admit.... I'm going to gain so much weight!
This has been the weirdest pregnancy. With my first two I could barely eat in the first tri, and what I could stomach was limited to sour barely sweetened limeade or a half slice of toast with unsweetened apple butter. Needless to say, I couldn’t gain weight and didn’t show until 5.5 or 6 months. Two healthy big babies though.
This pregnancy I’ve been eating NON-STOP to keep the sickness at bay and each week seems to have a senseless theme. First week of morning sickness it was mountains of Mac n Cheese, the next week it was Vietnamese avocado sandwiches with pickled vegetables, the next week pastries & sweet cereals, the next week anything heavy with lots of protein, last week was Mexican and absolutely nothing sweet. Finally the nausea is lifting somewhat and I have some control. Now I’m craving salads again like my normal healthy self. Too bad it’s 12 pounds later!!! TWELVE pounds and I’m only 10 weeks!!!! Gaaaahh....
Last weekend I bought a mini apple pie and had half that night and it was DELICIOUS. I forgot about the other half until last night.... smelled off but I microwaved it to see if that helped, sadly the heat made it outright vomitous. I was so sad and now I need to make another trek to the nice grocery store to get a new treat.
I also have some bananas that are ripening so I can make muffins. Love cream cheese on banana bread!! Maybe they are ready now...

Just returned from Italy, land of all the delicious food, and I swear I had the same penne arabbiatta dish bout 8 times over the course of 7 days!!! I'm in this weird pattern of only wanting the same thing over and over again. It's most definitely time for a salad today......

Anyway, I just had some awesome bean soup and corn bread that a coworker brought it, and I'm officially on the craving soup train...
