What do fetal hiccups feel like? Are they lots of little hiccups in short succession or every once in awhile like adult hiccups? My baby is doing something weird and I'm trying to figure out what it is. It kind of feels like he's drumming his fingers on my bladder...

  • @binxybaby if I remember right they're every couple seconds or so. Pretty quick and typically didn't last long anytime my son had them. During my scan yesterday this baby had them and they were pretty quick one right after another.

  • @CecilB93 Thanks! This must be something else...he was being very wiggly there for awhile.

  • @binxybaby DS used to get them all the time. It felt like a kick but they would come consistently and with the same time span between them (ie. kick-2 seconds - kick - 2 seconds - kick - 2 seconds). The constant repeating with the same time frame between them helped me distinguish.
He used to get them about once a day and he still gets them ALL the time. so weird.

Has anyone here had a classical c-section vs a transverse?  My doctor told me today if I go before 28 weeks that, if a c-section was necessary, it'd be a classical.  It sounds like it's riskier and a lot harder to recover from   :#

  • @hkom did the doctor say why? not that I'm questioning, but curious
  • @hkom If you search classical incision on the c-section board there are some posts that pop up from moms who had that type of incision.

@Jens_Hoes Something to do with the positioning of the uterus at that time, and it provides better/easier access to the baby.
