2) How are you feeling, Mom? Good honestly. Every day I am more optimistic. A little nervous about how we're going to balance visits because school starts next week so DH and I will have a more strict work schedule but we'll cross that bridge when it gets here.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions? Raving about finally getting to 3oz pumping, with no child around. I nursed my daughter for a year, so I REALLY want to be able to have that with him. The first week I was producing like 5ml so this is huge for me. Hate pumping but love knowing I can actually do something for my babe.
4) GTKY: Favorite family vacation spot? Disney. I've been going 3 times a year since I was a kid, it's the first place my husband told me he wanted to eventually get married, we got married there, we found out we were pregnant there...it holds a lot of great memories for us. We got really often (like once a month) but will be on sabbatical for a while until Liam's immune system is better.

1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week?
Max is 33w2d gestational, and 3w6d outside. He’s doing great- they are talking seriously about moving him to an open crib and starting to bottle/ breastfeed him. Also, I got to swaddle him the other day, and we can start dressing him- I have clothes in my bag for that tonight.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Exhausted. Sad that I don’t have more time for my closest friends. Grateful that those same friends are there for me right now.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions?
I’m constantly worried about my supply. When I pump and it is less than I think it should be, I get all freaky, even though by the end of the day, it is around average. I’m glad my average is at the top end of what he will eventually need, but it is still nerve wracking.
4) GTKY: Favorite family vacation spot?
From my childhood, a lake in northeastern Oklahoma. My parents eventually moved up there, but it is still my vacation spot every summer.
Beyond that, we usually don’t go the same place twice. There are a lot of places I want to take my dinosaur though...

Fuck. I got so much to do at work before I go out. And I don’t have a pediatrician yet (Max being a preemie changed those plans too).
I have been expecting closer to 36 weeks based on the conversations I’ve had thus far. Even that is closer than I think!

It sounds like we have the same basic checklist. And they are doing the same thing- we have to hit the developmental milestones, not age/weight.
