@texas_tit was pretty good, thanks for asking! The only issue was that I wore a pre-maternity dress and it was ok when I tried it on, but didn't think about trying to sit down! I got a little smushed lol! I hope your ds ends up having a good day!

Me again, with an update on my Bitchfiesta: I fixed my AirPod! This morning I decided to see if there was anything obstructing the charging area and there was a little piece of dried dough or something (I don’t even know) so I scraped it off. Don’t know if that did it, but it works now and I didn’t even have to travel to Atlanta or commit fraud!

headed to get a crib and dresser today. Lazy day otherwise. We went to the fair yesterday and DD refused her second nap and somehow survived on a 30 minute nap all day. She even went on two rides without crying lol we stayed for the circus and she loved it. She does not sit still ever so for her to sit and watch made my heart melt a little. She fell asleep as soon as we were in the car ride home and slept until 730 this morning. I’ll take it.

We just got home from brunch with friends, and a quick dash to CVS. DH will be freezing a wart off, and I’m going to watch Disenchantment on Netflix. Otherwise we are staying in and just snugglin’ pups all day. Best Saturday plans ever (especially since its rainy today). Ah.

@Activebaby No, literally the closest big city. I didn’t realize you were up there! It’s still a 3 hour drive from me, so I don’t get up there too often, but I’ll give you a holla next time I do! At some point I do need to make a trip to Ikea for the toddler bunk bed I’ve been eying.

Right now I'm making a lasagna and drinking a glass of wine, since I kept putting off my celebratory Wednesday week-marker glass due to just...being busy. So basically I'm day-drinking with a toddler while pregnant. #MOTY

So I took DS to the gymnastics open house and it was fun, but definitely very tiring for me (20+ minutes wait, navigating an obstacle course, and turn taking with a 2 year old), so I was ready for nap time when we got home. Well, DH came home from work right as I was getting ready for his pre-nap book and L was super excited to see him. DH has been working a lot to enable me to stay home, which I am SO grateful for (I don’t want to sound like an ungrateful bitch, but mama was tired) and he also had his fantasy draft tonight, so his time with L was going to be limited, so “we” made the executive decision to skip his nap, so they could spend time together. Well, that was clearly a mistake. He was cranky, so I decided to take him to the pool as soon as H left to keep him busy. He now is not interested in the splash pad area or the baby pool and only wants to go down the tunnel slide on this playground thing that is in the pool. However, water sprays at you while you are walking up the jungle gym, so he wants me to carry him up 12 steps to the slide. I. Am. So. Tired. Dragging my 20 week pregnant self and a 30 pound toddler up 12 steps while being sprayed in the face is exhausting. I finally convinced him that he could hold my hand up half the steps and then do the rest himself, thankfully. Now I’m waiting on H to bring me a buffalo ranch chicken wrap home from his draft. I hope I stay awake long enough to eat it!

ETA: Sorry that turned into such a bitchfest. I love being a mom and I am so thankful that L is healthy and active! I just need a break sometimes.

@katy0990 sounds like a lot of hard work hauling an overtired toddler + baby belly. And bitching about the hard stuff doesn’t mean you don’t generally love what you do. It just means, sometimes that ish is hard!

I’m having extra empathy for the nap skipping hardness, as mine refused to nap today, then had some glorious meltdowns in the shower tonight at bedtime. The upside? She only threatened to push me out of the room instead of actually attempting to do so.

Huzzah! I don't know what happened, but my mobile Bump is suddenly back to normal, so I'm back, y'all! I've missed out on what feels like 10000 things, and will never catch up, but such is life. Hope everyone is surviving the day to day, that all the houses for sale have been sold, all the job opportunities have come through as hoped, and especially @hkom hope things are looking up and you'll be headed home soon.

As for me, had a mommy/daughter date day to the zoo on Friday for my last weekday off before I start the new job. Fed giraffes and parakeets, petted goats and wallabies, and saw every animal she wanted to see except for elephants (they didn't have any) and gorillas (primates are creepy, so she'll have to wait for that one until Daddy takes her). Husband has hockey playoffs this weekend and my grandparents are stopping by for a visit tomorrow, so that rounds out the rest of our adventures. Then Monday: first day of back to work, and I can't wait! The time off between jobs has me feeling like a brand new person (or maybe just like myself again), and I'm stoked to bring that energy into a new position.

@CecilB93 Have you looked on Amazon? We found our vanity for $150 and free shipping. It would have been $600 for the one we wanted at Home Depot or Lowe’s and the quality is just as good. Honestly, I was shocked it wasn’t a scam!

@PensiveCrayon and @echo-charlietango I’ve never been to Ponce City Market! I lived less than a mile from it while it was being built. I moved soon after it was completed (crime, traffic, Work location). I’ve frequented the Starbucks beside it a million times though.

Last night we answered a FaceTime call from some friends at a bar. We chatted a little, and they wanted to see the bump. The squealing and bad signal moved to a text thread, and after talking a little more about the pregnancy DH threw down *the best* Bitmoji (in spoiler). I’ve been enjoying it 500 times more than needed.

We just left for Florida. Leaving a day late because the guy who was supposed to cover for DH today screwed him over. We won’t end up in FL until tomorrow sometime.
I am so tired and grumpy. DS woke up last night at 2am because he pooped. It took me an hour to get him back to sleep, because DH apparently needs all the lights on to handle him at night. *eye roll* Then when I got in bed I had trouble falling asleep. Then I couldn’t get DS to nap and I really needed sleep! Moral of this story is that I may murder DH on the way.

As for me, I’ve been on an organizing binge today. Assembling Ikea shelving for the closet in the kids room. Cleaning out the closet, purging, reorganizing all the toys, books, games, and art/craft supplies. Separating out little kid stuff from big kid stuff. I kinda overdid it physically, so MH told me he was doing kiddo bath tonight (usually something I do) so I could rest. And then while they did bath, I finished off the last shelf instead of resting. Oops. So glad I have this taken care though. It’s at least 6 items on my to do list.

I have some type of horrid stomach virus. Thankfully I haven't thrown up but my stomach has been killing me all day long. All I ate was breakfast, I haven't been able to force anything else down aside from some Gatorade g2. I'm hoping I wake up a new person! We did manage to get to Home Depot and bought two cabinets for our laundry room and some paint for the baby's room. MH started painting the laundry room a color we already had so he can mount the cabinets. I forced myself to clean up the living room and bathe DS. I made MH do bedtime duty so I'm in bed now. Praise.
