So the HVAC guy shows up at my job Saturday, while it was raining, so he could get on the roof to finally fix the AC Unit. He then acted all surprised that the mall would not allow him on the roof because, ya know, RAIN. Then he comes back this morning and pulls the same crap! Mind you he was suppose to be here Friday when it wasnt raining!!!
He just laughed and said it's not so bad in here today. It was 10 am, no shit it wasnt hot in here yet. Come back at 2 PM when all the customers are telling you they cant shop in the store because it's too hot.
@nasalot188 me too! Idk what my problem is but the last 2 or 3 days I just cant eat enough. I've barely had an appetite so this is weird...and annoying for me. Lol

My BF is I’m really over work. I’m so uncomfortable I’m general so I don’t think it would do me any good to stay home, so I might as well get paid, but I just don’t want to deal with people face to face. I wish they’d put me in an office and just have me answer the phones so at least my bump could hang out.
BF about the weather. It was gorgeous Friday, dreary outside the rest of the weekend but at least on the cooler side. Today its hot and muggy again and were getting storms this afternoon... I love a good storm but I would have loved even more to have actually spent the majority of this summer outside...
@nasalot188 Same! I just posted that in the symptoms thread lol. I can’t stop eating...I already ate my lunch and I only have two more snacks so I’m trying to ration them but let’s be honest, they will be gone within the hour.

My VP said she had a bunch of baby stuff for me leftover from her 18 month old. I was so excited to get it out of her car with her today and then she left for a business trip a few hours ago that I didn't know about and now I don't know when she'll be back. It's not a huge deal but I was looking forward to having it today. The nesting is real and I want to put everything in its place lol

Ugh! I am so done with work!! My boss was supposed to post the ad for my mat leave, so that they can be hired and trained for the beginning of October. She was supposed to do it the first week in August, well here we are halfway through another month and it’s still not posted!! I told them I was going to work as long as I could but after how things went today I am really starting to run out of patience! And then I find out that she is gone camping for the rest of the week. No one else knows how to do my job so I feel bad, but now I am just starting to get annoyed and don’t give two shits if they can’t fill it before baby decides to come. End of rant!!
@Sailing_Mama It’s so awful today!! It wasn’t too bad this morning but by the time I had to leave to pick up DD from camp I couldn’t believe how thick it was. Hopefully the wind shifts and takes it away soon - or even better, it rains and puts them all out!!
@jandmnumber1@nasalot188 Same here - my replacement was supposed to be hired in June so I’d have time to train them as my job is super niche and there really isn’t official training you can get outside of on the job - I’m about to be away for two weeks which means we won’t have someone until at least September - they’re going to be so lost once I’m off and they still aren’t ready to be on they’re own!

And to boot my boss just got back from vacation yesterday and it turns out she broke her ankle. So now I have no clue who is going to figure it out. And I've only got like 6 weeks of work left. I was stressing bad about it but it's out of my control so I'm just going to do my job until the dr puts me out.
It's Tuesday, but still. Our air conditioning broke again on Sunday. $1000 to fix, which is stupid because we are switching from propane to gas in Oct... and have to buy a new AC unit and furnace. I feel like the universe is saying- so you thought you were financially ready to have a kid?! Anyways, we are getting our new AC unit and furnace now so that we have ac for the next couple month, but they can't install it till next Monday. DH and I are actually going to WI for most the week tomorrow, so the heat won't be much of an issue for me, but my poor dog sitter and dog will be in an 81 degree house all week. I feel horrible about it.
Me yesterday to boss: Just a heads up, don't panic if you see the new phone bill come through, they screwed it up so it is going to be ridiculously high but the actual amount is ... so it is all okay.

I feel like we're hemorrhaging money lately. On top of having to re-buy all the baby gear we gave to SIL/BIL at christmas, we're paying to finish this closet my husband is building and now previously hassle-free "easy" car is going to crap. Bought new tires and alignment last month, husband just spent $500 on new parts for what's supposed to be scheduled maintenance (i'm thankful he's mechanically handy and can DIY), but while changing my oil over the weekend he discovered that my subframe is over 50% rusted out/missing which is a huge safety hazard. Apparently there were even recall notices from the manufacturer....but get this.....they only apply to like a handful of states, including our neighboring state that is literally 5 miles away. Dealership said they won't cover the repair, so husband and his friends will have to DIY that as well so tack on a rental car since it'll take them a few days to work on it. I mean, on the bright side, at least he found the issue before I was driving down the highway with a newborn in tow and my wheels literally fly off the car, so there's that. lol. Really need this car to last at least 3 more years, I don't want car payments and I want to wait until the kids are older to get a newer/nicer vehicle!
Why is it when DH has a bad day I try and give him space and try not to get crabby myself and it is ok. When I have a bad day DH takes it personally (?) and gets super crabby?? I then feel like I have to pull my crap together or the day will suck even more.
Why can't I have a bad day and that be ok!? Now I am more freaked out how this will all go when we are on no sleep and more emotional.
He says crying isn't fair. Ugh. If he is not mad/upset when I cry I get sympathy and concern. He is a big softy but also stubborn. Depends on the mood lol so I started crying and knew it would be better if he didn't see so I went and cried. I am sure he knew as I get super red faced even if just a few tears fall.
@SweetSweetTooth I hear ya! When I’m hanging on to a bad day he doesn’t get why I’m not over it. If it has to do with him he thinks my water works are a way to try and make him feel bad. Believe me, I wish I wasn’t such a crier.
@SweetSweetTooth same here! I give DH space and time to cool off and chill out but if I get angry or upset and just want to unwind alone I get "what are you so upset for? I dont understand why your crying" and stuff like that. Like just let me cry, half the time idk why I'm crying either but harassing me about doesn't want to make me tell you when I do have a reason!! Or if we have a disagreement I feel like I'm most often the bigger person and let it go first because I don't like being mad at each other..
