I so highly recommend taking a "Babymoon" or whatever you wish to call it. Even if it's only for a night or weekend (like we did).  It was really relaxing and a great chance to connect with DH just the two of us... something we've not done in quite some time in this way.

That sounds like such a fun weekend...what a pretty area! ?DH and I were just talking about doing something...maybe staying overnight at the national harbor or something just for fun. ?

Is it bad that I am going to try and convince DH to go away for another night or two in September? Perhaps a lot closer (although we were only 90 mins away from home) but a similar experience to what we just had.  Even though we're both well traveled (mostly not with each other) this just felt perfect.
